AND A HALFSTAR! After a long, hard workout at Atlas’s NYSC, the first thing on my mind to replenish what the body needs. What’s good/healthy, but can load me up w/o leaving me feel shameful? Steve’s! What I love about them is that they don’t go to fancy or complicated with what they have to offer. Oh no! All they have to do is feed me. The one thing you will notice a lot about this place is that during lunchtime you will see a lot of officers. And you know what they say about seeing a lot of officers all at a place. No, it’s not a bust! It’s that they sure know how to sniff out a good eat! I loved their No. 5 Deluxe Hero. It’s a fried chicken cutlet w/mozzarella, roasted peppers, lettuce and balsamic vinegar on the top and bottom of the bread. It is flavor-tastic! Only gripe… I couldn’t finish it. It was too much food for me. After viewing the other customers around us, they seem to have customized their sandwiches with either a wrap or just regular sliced bread. BINGO! A little tidbit for next time. The 2nd time I ordered a grilled chicken, portabello mushroom, roasted pepper and lettuce wrap. Also very pallet pleasing. The great thing about it is that it comes with a choice of macaroni(do it!!), potato salad(not bad) or coleslaw and an individually wrapped pickle(nice & pickle-ly). Drink selection is awesome! It has all kinds of brands including my fave: STEWART’S!!! Gotta love that root-beer! There’s not much seating(6 tables for 2), but I usually get a seat every time I go(call it good timing). You usually order, take a seat and the kind, friendly staff will bring your food to your table. After you finish, then you pay. Need food for an event? They cater too!
