History

Established in 1995.

Projects Plus began as a sole proprietorship in 1995 offering database and direct mail marketing administrative services. Our primary customer base was large corporations (i.e. General Mills, NBC Television Studios, 3M), data processing firms (i.e. Lorton Data, Gage Marketing), and fulfillment companies (i.e. Promotion Mailing Center, Helgeson Enterprises, Data Mail).

Through the years, we also had the privilege of assisting local entrepreneurs in the launch and growth of their businesses using database, email and internet marketing techniques.

We saw a need for affordable, customized marketing help — honest support for local small business owners — and have since focused on specializing our services just for them.

Meet the Business Owner

Michelle D.

Business Owner

Michelle knew back in high school that she wanted to start her own business. And so she took college courses while working full time, intentionally gaining experience in management, administration, and marketing. Soon after the birth of her first child, the time had come to go out on her own.

Michelle has been heavily involved in volunteer work on behalf of her community, church and school for many years. She is a member of the National Association for Female Executives and other small business organizations. She is certified in numerous software applications such as MS FrontPage and MS Access rated at an expert level, and also has certification in search engine marketing and optimization.

Michelle has spent a number of years mentoring other women in the start-​up of their own home businesses. She has created several information websites such as www​.DataEn​try​Home​Busi​ness​.com. Her mission is to use her knowledge and experience to make a difference in this world.
