I noticed that my water pump on my ’09 F150FX4 was leaking. I called around Loveland to get quotes and was hearing back on averaging of about $ 400. I logged onto Unilocal and requested a quote from Kings Auto and with in 15 minuets they got back to me with $ 215 out the door. I made an appointment with no hassles. They were more then willing and great to work with around my schedule to get it done in the time frame I needed. I am sold on the good quality, price and service. I will be back again. Thanks!

After moving to Fort Collins from Florida, and always taking my car to dealerships for regular services… I finally decided to take my car to a «local shop.»
After trying King’s I will never go back to another dealership. The entire staff was great, and after my car was done, they throughly explained everything they did and the reasons for each. The prices were great. I will be coming back here as long as I live near Fort Collins.

I came in for a oil change and left with much more! Not only are Naveed and Adam great at what they do and have excellent customer service, but they did almost a complete overhaul of my car and pointed out some key things that needed attention asap. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my oil change and car repair needs.

My wife and I noticed a clanging noise develop while we were on our way from Nebraska to Estes Park. We stayed in Fort Collins for the night and started calling around the following morning. We contacted a few places but they acted like they needed more than 24 hours notice to get us in. All that we wanted was to know from a certified mechanic that we weren’t going to break down on our way into the mountains.
We contacted King’s and spoke with Naveed who put us on hold for a moment while he was checking availability and he came back and said he could fit us in within the hour. We arrived on time and handed over our keys and then walked down to Qdoba which was just down the road within walking distance while we were waiting. When we came back we waited a good 10 minutes and we were informed that the skid plate on our car had come loose because it was warped and was most likely causing the noise. They also mentioned they found a few bolts involving the suspension that weren’t tightened to the proper torque requirements so they tightened those up too.
Just to make sure we were satisfied, the mechanic took us around the block and we found a few pot holes to hit to make sure the noise had disappeared for good. We were very happy with how thorough they were in making sure we were pleased with the repair and their prices were reasonable. I can’t say enough about how much we appreciate their ability to get us in on a whim and make sure we were taken care of. Thank you!!!

I love this shop! From a simple oil change to replacing my throttle body (the first car issue that they took care of for me) I have grown to trust Naveed, Adam and their technicians to always repair my car. They have replaced my brakes, spark plugs, and fuel pump for a fair price. They helped me when the body shop that my insurance preferred couldn’t get my headlamp to work. They also corrected the one issue that I had with a repair quickly and efficiently.

I’ve been going to these guys for about a decade and they’ve always treated me extremely well. I brought my old Ford Escort ZX2 to them and my Ford Ranger and I’ve never gotten a single bit of bad advice. After moving to Denver I still consider them «my garage» and I recommend them to everyone I know in Fort Collins.

I had bad experience with some other auto-​repairs in Fort Collins. And to say the least they were pretty expensive, they did not check the car before giving it back to the client, etc… At Kings, I have the impression that the mechanics know their job and are not trying to scam you. Very polite and friendly. I got an old 98 Dodge Ram 1500 and of course I need to take care of a lot of things to make sure it is safe to drive. Got a extensive list of what was wrong (and the other shops did not tell me any of that). The mechanic gave me advices and did his best to make sure that I do the maintenance and checks properly. Cheap for student. Will go there again.

Very accommodating, quick and thorough review of vehicle. Friendly and good price. Highly recommend. We will be bringing both of our vehicles here, which is nice because they are different makes.

Great service from the get-​go. No one answered my call at first, but less than five minutes after hanging up the phone, they called me right back and apologized for missing my call and got me scheduled quickly.
When I went in I had just requested an oil change and a general tune up on my car, which they did in a fair amount of time (~40 minutes). Adam was fantastic about explaining everything that they found afterwards. I don’t know too much about cars, and he was very patient in explaining every item on the list I asked about. He was also good about letting me know what should be taken care of soon and what stuff could wait. They even replaced one of my interior lights at no charge! This is my first visit to King’s and I was glad they didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need or push me into getting everything done at once.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good car place.

Auto repair shops are not exactly known for being honest in general. However, in such an industry, King’s is the ultimate example of one which does everything the right way in that regard.
Over the past year and a half or so, my car has been in there numerous times. It’s higher-​mileage and therefore out-​of-​warranty, so a small shop is almost certainly cheaper than bringing it into a dealership. The work performed has varied from simple oil changes to an alternator replacement (from which I picked the car up this very morning, in fact), and through it all, the staff has been very polite, very professional, very friendly, and very helpful. In fact, contrary to many shops out there, they even suggested NOT performing certain work because they felt it wouldn’t be totally necessary.
As a result, this is the first and only place I will recommend to my colleagues when it comes to car maintenance. Not only do they do a great job, but they’re extremely trustworthy — a rare thing to say when it comes to auto shops. As long as I’m in northern Colorado, they will be receiving my business.

We have nothing but positives to say about this shop! As long time residents of the area I was pleasantly suprised when we found this shop. We purchased a car through them and it has been a pleasure to work with them. They are honest and kind and thoughtful. They have never taken advantage of us and have been very honest about what can and can’t be done with our car. Naveed has been wonderful and we have enjoyed working with him. We are not car experts and are always looking for someone we can trust. You can trust Naveed and the team at King’s. It’s nice to know there are people in this world who are still willing to help and care for people as much as being successful in business. Highly recommend this group!!!

Took my truck here after another mechanic hacked it doing an engine swap. They were really accommodating and looked at it as soon as they could. Unfortunately the mechanic who worked on it before messed many things up and kings was very honest with me explaining the problems and helping me decide the best course of action– repair or scrap. They were sympathetic to our situation and willing to help however they could. They even let us keep oir car in their storage for free when we figured out whag to do. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for an honest shop. Thank you naveed and team. I wish I took the car to you guys first.

I’ve been in Fort Collins for about 18 months now and have visited King’s 3 times since then to get various things fixed on my (slowly dying) 2002 Saturn. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. I’ve dealt with Naveed each time and he not only comes off as an honest and down-​to-​earth guy who can answer any question, but he also provides options for those of us who don’t have oodles of money to spend or have older cars. When I was hit in a recent accident, Naveed and crew were able to clean up the damage and some prior damage to the front of the car to 90%+ condition for a mere third of what it would have normally cost. Definitely the best auto repair shop I’ve visited in town. This review should have come sooner, but now that I’ve dealt with them multiple times I can say with confidence they are the best in the biz.

When I took my car here for maintenance, it was not ready by the time they said it would be. They told me that «some other things came up» in the meantime. I did not feel that my business was being prioritized, and had a sneaking suspicion that they thought they could get away with this because I am a young woman with little experience dealing with auto mechanics. I also wished they had spent more time explaining to me the repairs and maintenance they were doing.

I went to King’s on the recommendation of a friend. Since that first oil change, they are the only shop I use. They do great work, are friendly and will remember you and your vehicle even after the first visit. They are honest and will work tirelessly to find what needs to be fixed and will tell you what doesn’t. Their mechanics are experts at what they do, and if something isn’t right, they will do anything to fix a problem. Just a phone call away. I don’t know if ill ever find another mechanic like them when I move.

I have to admit that I have an irrational aversion to getting work done on my car. It’s not that I don’t appreciate having a car that is running well — I most certainly do. It’s just that I have come to expect that the experience of getting work done is going to be at best annoying (e.g. having the techs at the corner lube shop robotically going through their checklist of things they are supposed to up-​sell) but more likely infuriating (getting reamed by the local dealer in a situation when I felt like I had no choice but to go to them, though in retrospect I would have been better off having my car towed from their service lot …)
Anyway, I had been planning to take a pretty extensive road trip over the holidays, and after hearing about some pretty scary mishaps a friend had with her car on a few shorter trips up to the mountains, it occurred to me that I might want to make sure my car was in good working order before embarking on my 1200-​mile journey. I found King’s via Unilocal (by the way, Craig H., thanks for your negative review — Naveed’s response gave me a good feeling that these guys understand customer service & made them stand out among the other mom & pop shops with good reviews on Unilocal). The trip check itself took about half an hour, which they were able to schedule pretty quickly. They uncovered some issues, not surprising since I had neglected some scheduled maintenance.
There were a few things that I really appreciated about working with this shop. First and foremost, the service manager, Adam, was willing to explain the work and answer my questions in terms I could understand. Like most women, I don’t have much expertise in the workings of cars … but I am educated and logical, so explaining the whats. and whys made me feel better equipped to make decisions and not so «at the mercy» of the shop. Also, automatically breaking down his recommendations by priority and cost again made it easier to make decisions about what work to have done. Finally, when it came to actually doing the work, I felt like they made decisions as they were going that were in my best interest, not just doing everything I had agreed to because it fit into my stated budget.
The one negative was that the work took longer than I had been expected, but the most important thing is that I had total confidence that my car was going to be fine for my trip.

I rarely feel the need to review a place as soon as I visit it, but I wanted to say that King’s Auto Center has my business and my money when it comes to my car. After reading the less than stellar reviews of «the other guys» (i.e. most of the franchised oil change centers in Fort Collins); some of which can only be described as horror stories, I was wondering where in town I could take my car for an oil change at a decent price without having to worry about some major headache coming up. I found King’s on both Google and here on Unilocal; and the overwhelmingly positive reviews (especially in comparison to other places) made me feel a bit comfortable with taking my vehicle there. I called and was given an appointment on the same day. They had me in and out in around 40 minutes for an oil change; inspected everything and let me know the overall condition of my car. Naveed was very friendly, explained to me when I would need certain servicing issues they had noticed; and didn’t try at all to sell me any services I hadn’t asked for (something many reviews mention for «those other guys»). I felt they went the distance when it came to customer care and honesty.
These guys understand that a business can make a lot more money by having happy and loyal customers as opposed to turning a person off after the first visit. While they aren’t the cheapest place I found in town for an oil change (though certainly not the most expensive either, and are fairly priced), based on my research, they appear to be one of if not the best, and will be the place I go to for future maintainance and work. Sometimes you get what you pay for; and cheapest is not always the best. Thank you Naveed and all the guys at Kings!

We’ve started taking both of our cars to Kings after how happy i was after the first visit. My girlfriends care needed a lot of repairs that most other garages didn’t even bother to check on. Wile the repairs where expensive it was quite a lot of work, and i think almost every time I’ve been there they hooked us up with a discount or some sort of benefit. It’s awesome. We’ve been here i think about 4 – 6 times now between our two cars and every single time i’m happy with the service and the performance of this shop.
Its really nice to have a shop locally that you can trust.
