I was driving from San Francisco to Colorado Springs over 2 days. I was on track to arrive into the Springs late, around 0030 and wasn’t interested in going out to celebrate my arrival given that places close relatively early there. As such I decided to stop off at Fort Collins ~2200 and pickup atleast 1 six-pack to pop open and enjoy at my hotel after check-in. That said, the great thing at Young’s is that it wasn’t difficult to find once I had gotten in far enough from the I-25. Enter through 1 set of sliding doors to start infront of fridge after fridge of chilled beer. There must have been atleast 10 to look through. I started on the left and discovered their Canadian collection right away(the usual Moosehead and Molson Canadian, but they had afew specialty Molson Canadians which gave them props right away in my mind). I’m not familiar with Colorado microbrews so I made sure to check through each fridge and eventually made a good choice. Prices were appropriate and the clerk, Jonny according to the receipt, had a pretty good sense of humour on him. The beer is separated nicely from the wine/spirits/liquor/snack food so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. Will go back if I ever need to pick-up some liquid gold in the Ft. Collins area again(though not likely, unfortunately).
