Tailoring Palace

Dropped off jeans to get the zipper replaced. Quoted $ 18 and told to come back in one week. I did, but they were not fixed. Told to come back in two days. I did, but they STILL weren’t fixed. Neither time was I called to let me know there would be a delay. The delay was blamed on holiday business despite it being a relatively easy fix. Regardless I’m not coming back to a business that can’t meet quoted deadlines. I demanded my jeans back unfixed, so I could take them to a different tailor.

FANTASTIC! The owner (I don’t remember his name) was the sweetest guy ever. I told him my story, that I’m leaving out of town tonight and need a button on a dress sewed on asap. I expected to leave for a few hours and come back but that wasn’t the case. He told me to have a seat and he will do it right now. We started making small talk. Talked about family etc. and how I just moved here…5 min later he was done! Wow, like it never happened AND when I wanted to pay him for his service, he said no! I was so grateful and had a huge smile on my face. His act of kindness was what I needed today especially since I was panicking about my new dress.
Needless to say, I will be coming back for my sewing and alteration needs! I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

I brought in drapes to be shortened for our new home and they did an excellent job!

My experience was excellent and easy: I walked in Friday to ask how much it would cost to fix 6 buttons on a button-​up longsleeve. The nice older gentleman at the front counter examined it and immediately pointed out which buttons needed repair, without me having to say anything. Based on that, I could tell he was an expert.
Next he quoted the buttons repair at $ 3! Okay, I’m emphasizing this great price because I was quoted $ 22.50 at The Sewing Room for button repair!
I went in Monday and picked up my longsleeve. All the buttons had been properly reinforced/​fixed. And I was on my way!
Although my experience was for a minor repair, I still think they have great service and better pricing than The Sewing Room. I highly recommend this tailor!

I have never thought much about using a tailor. I thought it would be expensive and take a lot of time. The day came that I desperately needed a dress altered and I cannot sew at all. I was getting ready to go on a cruise and found the perfect dress for formal night but it was way too long. I either needed to grow another 5 inches or find a tailor. Since I doubted I could grow 5 inches in one week, I had to place my bet on the tailor.
I did some searching on Unilocal,dexknows, and just on the internet in general. The Tailoring Palace had some wonderful reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I went in and the owner greeted me at the desk. He was pleasant, cheerful, and professional. He took the time to listen to what I needed and how soon I needed it. He had me put on the dress (ladies, remember to bring the shoes you plan to wear with this and any body shapers so the dress hangs just like it will when you wear it) and stand up on a box in front of the mirror. He took the time to make sure he knew how short I wanted it and marked the dress with his chalk.
I was leaving in four days and he said he would have it ready for me the day before I left. I went in to pick up my dress and his wife was there this time. She is also a very nice person. She had me try the dress on again just to make sure we didn’t need any last minute changes. The dress was PERFECT! I can now go on my cruise and not worry about having to hike up my dress to walk or stepping on it.
The price was much less expensive than I thought it would be. I figured I would pay the same price of my dress for the tailoring. Not even close! I paid only $ 30. He does leather jackets, dresses, suits, just about another you wear that needs to be altered. Please go and give this place a shot. They are wonderful people, do incredible work, and are well worth the price.
