Windsong Estate

My husband and I held our wedding here in May 2016. It was more than I could have imagined and I have Windsong to thank for it. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect! I am so happy that we chose Windsong for our special day. Jackie made planning so easy and as stress free as possible. The day of she was the one who did the running around for me so that I could enjoy getting ready and work out all my nerves without the stress of the little details. They had everything set up for us before I got there and had cleaned everything up at the end of the night. I highly recommend Windsong Estate to anyone who is planning any type of event. They go the extra mile to make sure everything goes smoothly. The view is amazing, the venue is beautiful, the staff was great, and I can’t thank Jackie enough for everything she did for us. You won’t regret choosing Windsong!

Terrible service, bar staff was rude, wait staff was incompetent, and the food was just as bad. Not sure if it was the catering that made the experience so bad or the staff. Either way I was not very impressed.

VERY mixed feelings about this place. The venue itself is sleek, different, and clean.
However, the sales girl (owner’s daughter) put a very bad taste in our mouth. For the price they charge, they seem to nickle and dime over too many options. At first prices seem reasonable, but when you learn about the add ons, it starts to get overwhelming. If we were IN LOVE with the venue, it may be worth it, but the venue is only half of our decision… who we work with is the other half.
The worst part of our meeting was how the girl bad-​mouthed so many businesses in our community. I was embarrassed for her. From bridal shops to hotels to caterers, we received more information about who she didn’t recommend, rather than who she did. Worse than that, she had no idea who she was talking to. Our family personally does business with a couple of the places she was bad-​mouthing and we knew for a fact her information was dead wrong! And even though we have an event planner, she felt compelled to voice strong opinions about businesses we know and love, rather that advise us to defer to what our planner recommends.
We felt the meeting was flat-​out unprofessional. Part of it could be her age, or lack of experience. The entire family is actually really nice— their sales tactics just stunk.
If we were to ever consider this venue, we will have to wait a few years and give them time to figure this business out. Thankfully our planner helped us find the perfect venue with a great staff who gets that half of the feeling you get from a venue is the PEOPLE.
