Pedritos is quality no fluff food. It’s reasonably priced, very friendly staff and quality meals. It’s latin cuisine, they have a great breakfast and lunch. While the place lacks ambience, your taste buds won’t complain. I usually pop by for a quick breakfast and sometimes lunch when I’m on the go. They also have cantina, which is prepaid meals for the week. It’s usually filled with the work teams from all walks. Go and visit and try the oxtail on Fridays.

I would give it a 0 if I could. We had been long time customers since it opened. However after the way the male cook treated my nephew on picking up an order of 30 croquettas that were not ready. And also after the fact that the female waitress claimed she didn’t speak any English and didnt understand my nephew, who is bilingual. To make matters worse the owner/manager Alba refused to talk to personally to my mother and offer an apology for their lack of customer service is enough for my whole family not to ever return. They have lost our business. We were great customers and would go several times a week and had food even catered for holidays. It is a great shame that Pedritos has lost a long time customer.

My buddy and I had a serious hankering for some authentic Cuban cuisine, but we didn’t want the franchised, commercialized stuff. We wanted the real thing, so we did some research. After sifting through some of the numerous offerings within the area, we came upon a place that looked very promising. Upon making our decision for our evening meal, we took off for our dinner adventure. Our search took us out of our way to a strip mall located deep within a middle class neighborhood. The non-descript outer façade was very inviting and oddly enough situated next to a small gym. After we entered, we were immediately greeted in Spanish by the front counter person, so we answered in kind. We sort of lingered at the front counter not knowing whether to order at the counter or what. Seeing immediately that we were not sure of our surroundings, the front counter cashier suggested we have a seat and stay for a while. Once seated, the smells from the kitchen were intoxicating. I could immediately smell the pork wafting from the back and it only reinforced what I came to order. A quick glance at the menu and I knew what my mission was right away, the Lechon Asado! I was so giddy, that when my plate arrived I felt like a school girl on a first date. The plate was stacked ominously with Lechon(roasted pork) and onion. It was also accompanied with the Tostones, black beans and rice. It was just as I anticipated. The pork was juicy with citrus notes and the pork skin was crispy, porky, salty goodness. I was in food bliss! Before I knew it, my plate was clean and I was on my last sip of beer. As I leaned back in my seat, wishing I had worn some stretchy pants, I told my buddy, we are definitely coming back. The place was inviting, the service was excellent and the food was great. We hit the trifecta that evening! I will definitely make this a destination when I’m back in the area.

In one word… gross. The steak was way over cooked and tasted like rubber. Sweet plantains were hard and dry. The server took the order and never returned. I ordered a flan than never came. Not sure if they understood English but I am not ever going to return. The management did do right and refused to charge me, so at least they are responsible business owners.

I would have never thought of trying Pedritos if it were not for Unilocal. It is a wonderful little hole in the wall with great food and good service. My husband and I enjoyed both of our dishes. I had pork chops, he had vaca frita. We cleaned our plates! We will definately try this gem again

Great little authentic Cuban place. There are many Cuban restaurants in the area, and this one is great. The pan con bistec is right where our needs to be. The sandwich has the shoestring potatoes on it and the bread is great. It is a small place in a strip mall, so don’t expect some big fancy place. Small, quaint, and authentic. Perfect of you like Cuban food

Pedritos is our go-to for yummy breakfasts and family meals. Talk about value! Their café con leche is delicious, they offer freshly squeezed orange juice and have delicious eggs, cuban toast, omelettes, tequeňos and empanadas! Their lunch specials are always made fresh and delicious… and they offer cantina services! Located across the Laguna Isles plaza(2 mins from our house… bliss), we head out once a weekend(and pick up during busy mornings) for our family of four and never spend more than $ 30. Ever. We know everyone there and have been getting great service — by the same people — for over two years. Love this place.

Pedritos has amazingly good Cuban food! I was out for a drive at lunch time today and was about to stop in at Publix when I rounded the corner and saw another hidden little plaza. I had to see if there was something good to eat over there. I was not disappointed one bit. They have specials every day and today was Vaca Frita. I have not had Vaca Frita this good in a very long time. There was plenty of well seasoned meat with onions. One bite and the flavor lingers on and on. Their black beans were creamy and soothing. The plantains were huge and fried just right. They also have shakes, sandwiches, empanadas and soups. I was so enticed with what I ordered that I got an extra one for my son to go. Get off the beaten path and find this gem. Oh and tomorrow the special is Ropa Vieja!

Pedrito’s is like eating your Abuela’s kitchen! I have tried several entrees and I approve! =) Their Moros is perfection. It even has pieces of fried pork in it. I just signed up for their cantina since it’s so afforable and easy to pick up. Stop by and try this little gem!

This is such a cute little restaurant in my own backyard and yet I really never knew it existed. Latin food with weekly cantinas, baked empanadas and pastelitos, coffee, and more. Quick service, dine in or take out. Fantastic prices! Will return.

Pedrito’s food is authentic, fresh and delicious! Just like home. Many dishes as favorites. I love Wednesday’s Ropa Vieja and Split Pea Soup! Great secret place that should be on top of anyone’s list.
