Over 750 new and used RVs in stock with over $ 100,000,000 in inventory. We carry Newmar (World’s Largest Newmar Dealer), Tiffin Motorhomes, Winnebago, Airstream, Dynamax, Thor Motor Coach, Keystone RV, Renegade RV, Pleasure-​Way, Heartland RV, Jayco and DRV Suites. With a variety of RV types including Class A, B & C gas and diesel motor homes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, toy hauler motorhomes and campers. We also have a Consignment Center.

North Trail RV Center has a RV Collision Center with (3) 64′ paint booths, fabrication center and more. North Trail RV Center is a Florida Recreational Vehicle Association certified repair center. History

Established in 1985.

North Trail RV Center started out as a small travel trailer RV business on US 41 in Fort Myers, Florida back in the 1980’s. The road US 41 is also known as North Tamiami Trail. This is where the name North Trail RV Center came from. A few years later North Trail RV Center moved to it’s current Fort Myers location on I-​75 at exit 141 (Palm Beach Blvd./State Road 80) Good fortune and blessing continued to allow North Trail RV Center to grow and now the Fort Myers location has expanded to about 65 acres and opened a second location in Fort Lauderdale. Our Fort Myers RV dealership just opened our new RV Parts Megastore and Service Center. Construction is underway for our new 25,000 sq. ft. sales center to be completed by 2017. We are also building a 145 motorhome space RV resort across the street from our dealership to use for hosting RV rallies and events.

Purchased a 2016 Newmar Diesel Pusher at North Trail Ft Myers. This is my 3rd Diesel Coach and first experience with North Trail and a Newmar.
I a picky customer because these units are complex and expensive. Service level is important.
From the Salesman (Paul’s) ability to provide information and help negotiate a price to the Business Manager Steve who kept me informed every step of the way and always communicated back when I needed something. I have never had a coach transfer to me with PDI and complete in one day. They did it. Ben who did my walk through was a pro and Willie the technician who fixed some minor things to get me out was fantastic. All in all a great experience. And… They have excellent inventory levels of Newmar products.

We spent the winter in Fort Myers, FL. We drove our Jayco Greyhawk from Indiana where we purchased it. We took it to North Trails RV in Fort Myers twice for warranty work. The work was done correctly with no hassle. We also had some non-​warranty work done there. We are very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of all the employees. Mark Atwood was our service writer. We thought he was outstanding to work with. I will return to North Trails for all my RV needs.

I want to thank everyone that my wife Mary and I worked with at North Trail. We had a 2014 3610 Canyon star, our service writer was Jonathan Rapp who kept us well informed on the progress of the service that we were having done. We since purchased a new 2016 3710 Canyon Star. Our sales man was Kelly Hicks, he did a great job showing us just what we wanted and made the deal happen. Kelly even helped us move from our 2014 to our 2016 it made it a lot easier on us, You don’t know how much stuff you have til it’s time to move. Again we want to thank everyone at North Trail and the folks at Newmar for everything they have done for us. Oh yes thanks for lunch Kelly. your friends Kurt and Mary.

I am so impressed with rob anderson (sales). Honest, back and forth feedback. He knew we were newbies to rving and helped us decide on the unit and stuck to us until he found the right one. Paula in finance has been outstanding, bill the guy you can call on «hey what did i just break» questions, to service (jp, richard and eric) are professional and first class! I will be back for future service and upgrades. Thank you guys, all, for making me a north trail rv fan. Also it was fun running into another fan at a resort who purchased a 5th wheel and newmar moutainaire from ntrv. Btw i do not know these people personally nor are they relatives. I am new to rving and was scared to death. Ask rob how bad i was!

My experience with the entire team at North Trail RV was 100% positive. My sales representative «Steve Rowin» was awesome to work with. I contacted him on a Friday afternoon and he went to work!!! He took extra time to answer all my questions and we spoke after-​hours, holidays and on weekends. My wife and I drove 12.5 hours from NC to pick-​up our new RV and drop-​off our trade. One phrase sums up my entire experience «100% World-​Class Customer Service». Don’t buy an RV until you talk to these guys.
Finally, the delivery team «Lonnie and his crew» were Outstanding!!! I Will Be Back!!!

After reading a few negative Unilocal reviews, I nearly did not follow through with my initial positive experience with salesman Peter Hossfeld at North Trail RV in Ft Myers. What a colossal mistake that would have been — we could not have been happier with our RV purchase. It was a significant investment as we bought a 42 foot diesel pusher after nearly 3 years of research to be used as my snowbird retirement vehicle. Peter was outstanding, knowledgeable, honest, and thorough. The same can be said for the service and finance departments. Being a used vehicle, some minor issues were found with the rig which North Trail resolved to my total satisfaction. I would not hesitate to do business with them again — including commuting from Michigan as I did this time.

Just want to thank the service department for service far superior than we have received any where else.
When I brought my vehicle in for scheduled repairs, I had the night before broken my clavicle, and needed to return to Dallas ASAP. The entire service dept. got to it, make the repairs in far less time than originally estimated, made additional repairs that showed up while we were there, let us stay in the «cul de sac» three nights, and sent us on our way as happy customers.

Sales dept. promises to make repairs when agreeing to a used purchase.
Repairs either not done or done incorrectly.
Told to return for corrections, a 9am appt. Sitting all day waiting, by 5 pm, concerns still not addressed.
The service dept. workers seemed nice and tried to correct problems. They were overloaded with work. Clearly this is a service management problem.
Untrustworthy, as with many RV dealers and services.

A month later North Trail agreed to pay for a repair done properly at another location.
So, now will up their rating to 3 stars for working with us.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Buyer beware. Misrepresented coach there will cost us at least $ 50k to make right. I should have known when I discovered that their website doesn’t list contact information for any management/​ownership — that’s your first sign — when the people in charge aren’t forthright enough to make themselves available to the public/​customer. I’ll amend this review when I have more time — I’ll substantiate my remarks fully; but I feel a responsibility to do my part to warn the public to steer clear of North Trail RV. The generator on my motorhome wouldn’t start and I took the rig in to North Trail. They pulled the starter motor out and said it was fried. I agreed to have them order a new starter and to fly it in overnight from California.
I had to leave the rig with them and take a motel room.
Next day, the motor came in and they installed it. The generator still wouldn’t start. They pulled the starter to see if it was faulty. It wasn’t. They said they would have to pull the entire generator out of my rig to continue the diagnosis. All this, I might add, was being charged at $ 145 per hour.
I told the service advisor to leave the generator alone. I said I would live without a generator. He suggested It might be time to buy a new rig… and their sales people could help me. i thought that was a conflict of interest on his part.
I said no, seal it. He said he couldn’t do that in the remaining hours left so I had to take another motel room.
My bill the next day was $ 887 (plus $ 250 for motels) and I still had not solved the problem.
I phoned PMS rv repairs in Clearwater and asked them to take a look when I drove north 200 miles in another week.
They took the starter motor out and sent it out to be tested under load at a specialty repair shop. The starter came back with no problems. They re-​installed the motor. They said they thought the motor had been installed off-​square which was affecting the torque. The generator started right up when everything was lined up properly.
Pms charged me for four hours of labor (at $ 95/​hour). So I feel fortunate.

We purchased a 2011 Jayco Greyhawk new from this company in June 2012. The RV was built really bad, therefore the RV had to be services every time we went on a trip. The repairs were not minor, axle, a/​c, leaks, etc. North Trail had the rv for over 3 months at one point. The A/​C was fixed 3 or 4 times by North Trail.
The issue with north trail is not that this RV was a lemon… The issue arose when we were advise they would make it right by giving us a deal on a new coach and trading the greyhawk.
We dealt with a salesman and found a couple of RV’s we were interested in. After all of the trouble and the dozen service visits over the yr, you would think they would not want to play around and make there customers happy.
Deal # 1 presented to us — 2013 Canyon Bay Star — north trail price 99K, camping world — 79K
Deal # 2 — used 2013 Tiffin 35QBA (no warranty) — 129k, found same coach brand new with warranty from rv world for 114K.
After all of the aggravation with our previous RV, these prices completely pushed us away from this dealership.
If your looking for a deal go elsewhere. I tried working with this company, but they truly do not believe in customers retention.

So many people only leave reviews when they have something negative to say. We wanted to make sure we let everyone know what a wonderful experience we had at North Trail RV Center in Fort Myers, FL.
Our sales rep Mike Hodapp was very easy going and full of information. There was absolutely no pressure at all, he was more interested in making sure the RV we ended up with was the RV that we were happy with COMPLETELY, no settling for something «just to get into an RV today». He showed us many RV’s and sent us on our way to think about everything we had seen, and to call him with any questions, no smarmy sales pressure!
Michael Engh in the finance department also did everything he could do to try and get us in an RV. Professional and courteous and called back to check on things like he said he would.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to get into an RV on this trip, we will DEFINATELY go back to North Trail RV in Fort Myers when we come back down to Florida.

Michael was a nice, not pushy, well informed salesman.
That is really worth something.
They have a large inventory, and can make deals.
They also have a sister location in Ft. Lauderdale, which would make service easy, living in Miami.
I would recommend.
