I guess I don’t have anything to compare these doctors to because I haven’t had a need for retinal specialists before. My husband had a detached retina, and his eye doctor sent him to Dr. Khan. We were squeezed in on a Friday because time is an issue with a detached retina (I have learned A LOT about this subject since last Friday). We were seen without too much of a wait, and I was so impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Khan and his entire staff. He performed the surgery that night at Lutheran Hospital — it took about 2 ½ hours. He then opened the office by himself on Saturday morning to look at my husband’s eye. I know we are probably paying out the nose for this (I haven’t yet seen a bill), but I am so happy with the way he has treated my husband and how professional he has been.
