We had burgers and they were good. The French fries were the superstars of the meal. We got them smothered and that meant with melted cheese and bacon on them, they were fresh and great. The burgers were good but nothing to rave about. Our waitress was a bit slow with service and we had to ask several times for drinks condiments etc.

Good place to stop with kids. We were on a road trip and it was a long day in the car. The kids were able to run around and play the games. The pizza was really good too.

We found this place on Unilocal.We had our choice of sitting in the game section or the regular section. We chose the game section. There were things for kids to do from ages 1 to 100. The food was fresh, not packaged. Laurel was our server. She was fantastic. The menu offered something for everyone in our party of 5.

Awesome little place. Food is great. Allison, our server, was awesome! They have a salad bar which is small but mighty. They have loads of toppings. The pricing is pretty reasonable, they give you a filling portion of good food. They have a little arcade with a few games and an air hockey table. Th only downside is pretty much every game is a dollar. I don’t mind paying a buck for air hockey but a few of those should be knocked down to fifty cents. Other than that I love this place and will be back. The other server was very nice and helpful but I’ll probably ask for Allison was a rockstar as our main server!

Salad bar. They had me at salad bar. We stopped in late night after a really long day of travel. The salad bar was clean even late night, the service as friendly and attentive. It was exactly the what we needed.

The pizza tastes great and is an awesome value. They have a decent selection of other foods as well and they are perfect for a light, fun dinner for families. They have a great area for kids to play in and yet would be great for a small date night too. Very accommodating and service was friendly.

As stated in other posts, the name of this place makes it sound like a kid’s place, but it’s not. We had «dinner» there on July 3, 2015. Dinner was actually a couple of their appetizers. The service was great and friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised when the shrimp scampi appetizer turned out to be one of the best scampi dishes we’ve ever had! Fresh shrimp sauteed with onion and tomato, very yummy! This is a place I would not hesitate to visit again.

I was here last weekend for the Redwood Comedy Festival and this was one of the performance spots on Friday night. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They went out of their way for the customers and the comedians performing as well. They normally close at 11pm but stayed open later for our event.
People refer to it as an Adult Chuck E. Cheese. They do have some games in the back like Air Hockey, NFL Blitz, and what’s this… an AC/​DC pinball game? Sweet!
I had some nice adult beverages and ordered myself a tasty bacon cheeseburger.
The next day I was able to try their pizza and that was also good. I will definitely stop by here again if I’m in the area whether I am performing or not.

I actually love this place and have been here twice. The pizza was amazing and the only thing I would like is to see my crust cooked a bit longer. The service was decent but very friendly. I enjoyed the television and arcade area. I highly recommend this place when staying in the beautiful fortuna.

I was staying at the hotel next door and had already eaten at Eel River, so I thought I would try this place. They are open until 11 and serve food until 11, so that was a plus. I sat at the counter and got the BBQ wings. You get 1 lb. per order and that was more than enough. They were a little too saucy, but we’re huge and otherwise delicious. Friendly and efficient service. When the server wasn’t waiting on the few customers she had, she was cleaning up, checking inventory and closing down stations for the night… not just standing around waiting for closing time. (Kind of a pet peeve of mine.) Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely come back here.

Came into town for a few days and found this next to the motel & wanted to give it a shot. for a Friday night it had limited guests later in the night when I walked over
a female Staff member greeted me and was attentive to my need of questions I had of menu the items.
I let then them assist others who wanted to dine in as my order was to go.
as I only ordered a pizza I can’t say for any other thing on the menu
but what I seen others ordered looked to be enjoyed.
The pizza I came back for after I got some other items at the little gas station next door.
Hot and fresh it was, once at my room I dug in, It was a decent pizza for the price and better tasting that one I had days earlier from a pizza joint in Arcata CA
I will probably return to explore other menu items in further detail when I’m back it town

Fun place to eat! The arcade is small but good with old school classics like pinball and air hockey. The atmosphere is kid friendly which makes great for family outings. The pizza was phenomenal! Perfect amount of crunch, none of the vegetables on our veggie pizza were dry, and for a small pizza there was a lot!
The calimari was a bit overcooked but the pie more than made up for it! Cheap drinks too! Where else can you get a margarita for 5 bucks? Would very much recommend this place for a fun casual dinner with family.

We didn’t get to try the food, so can only comment on the service, which was horrendous. There were only 4 other tables occupied when we arrived. There were 2 servers, and one of them told us to take any seat. All of the tables had dirty dishes on them, so we chose one of the least dirty and cleaned it ourselves the best we could with used napkins. For the next 45 minutes we sat there and were totally ignored by the servers while they serviced several of the occupied tables. We never got a menu nor were we allowed to place a drink order. One of the servers even chatted on her cell phone while customers waited for service. We finally walked out, still without so much as a glance. We will never go into Funky Monkey again and would advise all to avoid this place as well.
