This is indeed one of the best car repair services around the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Those people will never try to «sell» you any unnecessary things/​service, will always advise you the best (price vs quality) solution for any particular issue you may have.

I have come to this shop many times, and even though I live further from it now I still do if at all possible. This is a rare gem– friendly, honest mechanics who do high quality work for a fair price. Really, what else could you want?

What are some qualities of a good auto shop? For me, the number one is trust worthiness, then fair pricing, and reliability. I jumped from shop to shop in past because they did not meet my standards; until I got lucky and found Enjoying Mechanics through AAA referral. That was three years ago. I’ve with them ever since.

Came here for a brake job. They are great! It’s always tough finding a shop you can trust to do a good job and that’s not going to rip you off at the same time. I’ve found my spot! Customer service is great, upfront, and honest. I will be coming back here, even if I have to drive from Whittier!

Enjoying Mechanics is always the place my dad recommends when I need anything done! (He was an aircraft mechanic and QA inspector for over 40 years so that’s saying a lot!) The staff are very helpful and efficient – answering all my questions too. I came 15minutes before closing and they were able to remove the nail in my tire and patch it up quickly! Conveniently located in fountain valley; I know I can always stop in. AAA discount too!

From the first phone call to inquire about their prices Dennis was very professional and clear. I really liked how they stayed opened for be because I got off work near their closing time. They managed to stay after hours to help me fix my car, I ended up needing a new coil and spark plug. They were very fast and the price i was quoted from the beginning was the price I paid. I literally spent less than 30minutes getting my car fixed and they even explained everything they were doing.

Dennis figured out my car just had a idling timing issue when other places could not figure out what was wrong or made me fix other parts of my car that didn’t need it. I’ve been coming back for oil changes and any other issues since. I highly recommend this place.

Honest mechanic will get all my business. Had brake issue I was sure would require new pads, rotors, and maybe more $$$$. These guys took a look, saw that I only needed a cleaning and adjustment as my brakes were filthy. Now my car is braking smoothly. Thank you.

This place is really great. My college daughter’s car broke down and it was towed to this place we had never been to before. My mommy senses were skeptical n (worried about ripoff and taking advantage possibly of a new driver) from the start. However, they treated her with respect and kindness. They explained what they would do, and how much it would cost quickly without a three hour wait just to get a quote. They communicated through the process. The price was very reasonable, the work was done fast, and they were really, really, really nice.
We are big fans of this place. She had to take the car there again for a small unrelated issue a month later and they did a diagnostic, took care of the issue, ordered the part, and called when it was available. They are a stand up place and have terrific customer service!

Dennis is fair and honest, and he is an extremely knowledgeable auto repair professional. I highly recommend him for your auto service needs whether it be repair, maintenance or emergency service. He and his staff are courteous, and clear in their communications. His pricing is fair, and much much better than comparable work at a dealership.
Not only do I take my «regular» cars to him, after speaking with him about my «project» car I am going to have him do some work on that too.

Took my 2002 Ford Explorer for an electrical diagnose. Had it towed there without me being present. Spoke to Jordan who quoted me a reasonable diagnostic fee. When they found the problem and called me with what had caused a no crank engine, I was relieved it turned out to be an alarm switch. They order the part and fixed it and was ready the next day.
I would recommend this place.

Add me as another satisfied customer of Dennis and Enjoying Mechanics! After recently moving from Orange to Fountain Valley, I was looking for a mechanic close to home. I found Enjoying Mechanics right here on Unilocal,and figured I would give this place a shot since there hadn’t been any bad reviews yet. (Even the «not recommended» reviews are good!)
My brakes were squeaking something awful, so I called up Enjoying Mechanics and spoke with Dennis to get a rough estimate on how much it would be to change out the brakes. The prices Dennis gave me weren’t necessarily the cheapest, but they definitely were competitive with other quotes I had received. I figured that I’d never know if this place lived up to its reviews unless I tried it out for myself, so I dropped off my car and waiting for the phone call from Dennis to see what needed replacing.
Turns out my brakes weren’t the issue, but something closely related. On top of that, Dennis showed me some broken parts that were barely hanging together, and had advised some additional repairs to make sure my car would continue to run safely. Normally I would pass up anything additional than what I originally came in for, however after seeing the broken parts and having Dennis explain that I would save on labor (vs. doing it another day) seeing as the part of my car that he would need to get to was already disassembled, I gave him the green light to go ahead with the additions.
Walked out satisfied. Not only did Dennis fix my issue, but also wanted to make sure that I’d be safe driving on the road. Recommended Dennis to my parents and they’ve taken their car to him as well, and also had excellent results.
If you’re looking for an honest mechanic with good prices, go see Dennis. The shop is also AAA rated, so you can either mention Unilocal or show your AAA card and get a nice discount.
