Went in due to a referral and I’m very happy I did!
Before going in though, I called them and asked if they had a particular board game I was looking for, Monopoly Pokemon edition. Turns out they were sold out on the product; of course right!
Who wouldn’t want to get it?! Jose, the person on the phone, assured me that he would be getting a few in a couple days. Those couple days passed and I was there at their opening time!
I was able to pick out some comics and get some real insight on different strategies for MTG!
Best of all, I was able to pick up the monopoly I wanted! Now, twice a month, my son and I become Pokemon trainers across all the Kanto Region!!!

Great little shop. Friendly staff. Hard to find at first since there isn’t a sign on the building.

This is a pretty good shop that I recently visited on a whim. I took some time to browse and found everything reasonably priced. The gentleman who assisted me was very friendly and knowledgeable. While I was there (browsing singles), he also assisted three other customers to what sounded like satisfied purchases. I would definitely stop by again if I was in the neighborhood.

This store is perfect! Small, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I came in to pick up the new Star Wars #15, the new Obi Wan comic. I originally called to see if they had it, he said he has the new Anakin and Obi-​wan comic, but wasn’t sure about the Star Wars one. Well, after I arrived he searched a box and found the comic I was looking for after I googled the cover for him. Amazing! I also picked up the new Anakin and Obi just because. I’ll be back and tell all my friends about his wonderful comic shop!

Cool place, they have non-​mainstream comics that I couldn’t find at other places, which is a good thing, and a variety of board games with ok prices. Their trading card games section need more improvement though, don’t have much decks or cards selection. Friendly and helpful staff, def would comeback.

First time here. Great little shop. Great selection. Very helpful and cordial staff. Thanks KSC. We’ll be back.

Stopped by here on Tuesday to check it out with my friend. I was almost immediately welcomed in by two people, one of which was named Travis. He was super helpful in explaining and helping us out with any question we had. He showed us the trial decks for a new TCG called Force of Will.
After a few minutes of talking we purchased two decks and he offered to teach us how to play. I asked him about the MTG events that they had and he was more than happy to tell me about it. I’m very excited and I have felt very welcome here. There’s plenty of snacks and they even have a communal microwave. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience. The prices seem reasonable and the displays look sweet! Also it’s a great place for anyone looking to find comics or any CCGs or TCGs.
I definitely will be going here on my days off and I hope to play on Tuesday for their commander tournaments. I highly recommend checking this place out to any one who loves card games or comics. I’m sure Travis or anyone there will welcome you to Kingslayer Comics!

Nice shop! Though it is in a very low lit area at night, the staff there was very nice. The girl who rang up the games I got was really nice and friendly. Always glad to support a local shop!

This spot is awesome! They always have cool new items in stock. Every time I come in there’s always something new and exciting. Picked up my Pokemon monopoly here. And they have a cool room to play games in. Although they need better magic card players

Travis is an alright guy. He’ll treat you like a king, special order anything he doesn’t have in stock. And he loves to have people playing games.

I found this store actually looking at Unilocal and am glad I did. It’s a small store but it has a ton of product. I came here to initially sell some cards I had and they give great rates as well. The transaction was very easy and the staff was extremely knowledgable.
They’re also having a lot of sales n such I noticed when I was there and I definitely will be back to take advantage of them. :)
The only issue I can see is the parking. It’s a very small, cramped lot and it was difficult for me to find parking. So, it might be even more difficult on a busy day.
But, I definitely recommend. This is going to be my new comic shop.

A small shop, but well-​stocked with both independent and major comic publications. The employee I spoke with was knowledgeable without being pretentious as you may experience at some comic book stores. I picked up some issues of Saga and pawed through the X-​wing figures before resolving to come back later. Very nice place that I intend to visit again!

I’ve been to a LOT of TCG places between OC and Inland Empire, and this is by far the friendliest location I’ve been to. Most of the time, I run into places where the guys 1. Only want to give «customer service» to their friends that come in and visit or 2. Assume girls that come in don’t know sh*t about their own hobby so they get overlooked. This wasn’t the case here, I was instantly greeted, and when I asked about Force of Will, they brought out nearly all of their products, and they had a few people on hand to talk about the game as well.
They have a pretty good selection of sealed Force of Will considering how little merchandise of the franchise there is. (Playmats, sleeves, deck boxes etc.) Picked up an Alice playmat and the Alice starter deck for less than retail prices. They also carry MTG and other card games too.
I was really happy about how comfortable the people were to talk to, non pressure and very chill. Definitely coming back to get packs and Force of Will merchandise and just hang out!
Highly recommended to TCG players and very girl friendly! :D

Great little hidden comic book shop. Go about 3 building sections down Mount Herman St and then turn into the one that says «Riteway» auto body. It’s the store connected and right next to the auto body place.
Check in for one free comic! Any comic from the wall and in the boxes! I bought Spider Gwen #1 and got Bob’s Burgers #1 for free.
It’s worth a check out!

I called this store initially because I was looking for the Shattered Empire comics and the other stores close enough didn’t have them. The guy I talked to (I think the owner) immediately said he could order the ones I needed and would pull the new ones coming out.
A few days later my books were in and I really enjoyed my first trip to Kingslayer. I was so happy to see a new comic store open up close to me since Trinity closed. I met Travis the owner and we talked while my two young children roamed about the store. He was cool about letting them look at stuff and didn’t freak out when they kept picking stuff up. Travis seems like a really cool guy and I hope this store does really well.
I loved that there was such a huge selection of games and Travis said he could get most anything next day and would do a price match! My wife and I love board games and I will be buying them here from now on to support my new local comic shop, there is no reason not to with those promises!
I can’t wait until the event Calendar gets going because this place seems like a great spot for game nights. Travis said we could use their tables whenever if we wanted to bring our own games. I’m really hoping they do a D&D night cause I want to learn how to play.
Overall, I look forward to picking up my next comic cause I like this store and the people that run it.

Top notch Comic and game store. Very clean feel with a lot of good items. Comics, Board Games, PLENTY of Star Wars Paraphernalia, even if I’m not buying some, it just makes me happy to look at anything star wars related. Good selection of card sleeves and other supplies.
Talked to the owner, Travis, and I got a great feel for his vision and I think this is going to become an amazing store and place to come together and geek out on games of all kinds. He’s only been open a couple weeks and is still building out some of the space. I have a feeling, he’s gonna need a bigger place pretty quickly but that’ll be a good thing! I’m more of a board gamer than anything and he’s got a pretty good selection but he can also order just about anything that is in print and can have most of it next day! I don’t think I’ve ever found that in a brick and mortar store. Also, he will match amazon prices! Yes… you heard me. Next day, amazon prices. You have no excuse not to support your local store with that!
On top of that you can get a free comic with a Unilocal check in and a free magic deck with a Unilocal review! This guy is leveraging all of the best of today’s society and economy IMO. A lot of stores are «old school» and I’ve been waiting for a store that fits the times a bit better. I will be a regular here and will spread the word that Kingslayer comics is next big thing for Games in Orange County!

I stopped in today during my lunch break to check out some board games since there aren’t too many stores in OC. They didn’t have what I wanted on hand (La Granja), but were more than happy to place an order for me! They even told me they could get it in the next day so I’ll be stopping by tomorrow! That’s an absurdly fast turn around time! The owner, Travis, was very friendly and helpful. He informed me that they had only just recently decided to go retail from online sales and is very excited.
You’re excited? No, I’M ECXITED! This gives people like me in the area a place to play Magic after a few other stores in this area closed down. They even tailor to board gamers and comic book readers if you decide you want to pick something up, or to use their table and chairs to hang out.
I think I just found my new home store for all my board game/​Magic needs.
As of right now, they offer open play during business hours, and will be doing an event calendar in the very near future. Sounds pretty sweet to me! You’ve deffinitely earned my business and I will be stopping by frequently! Thanks guys!

I’m not into comics or any of that stuff so I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to this stuff but this was the closest to my house so I figured I’d check it out. I was looking for Star Wars toys for my nephew but they were sold out everywhere I went so I was excited when I found they had an awesome selection of them! They were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend them!
