Italian Express Pizza & Pasta

Great place to eat! I used to eat here all the time on my lunch breaks. Now that I work a bit further, they still deliver here! It’s great! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love their house special mama mia pasta it’s definitely one you should try out!

I don’t know what the other are complaining about. It’s my first time here for lunch pick up. I’ve called said i need to pick up in a hurry so I can get back to work the owner was so nice he had my chicken pesto regatoni ready in 10 min. Along with my chicken tortilla soup, it was tasty and fresh. My pasta was excellent with thick sauce and tender chicken. The portion was perfect it filled me up. With my Coke all came to $ 7.5 with tax. I thought it was a superb meal for fast food price. I think if u try it you will agree with me. Will be back for more!

STAY AWAY from this place! I love Italian food and thought maybe this would be one of those charming hole-​in-​the-​wall type places that turns out to be awesome! I went here with some friends a few days ago and it was just disgusting from the minute we walked in. The place looks FILTHY and like it hasn’t been cleaned in forever. We still decided to order. The employee who took our order was so rude — he hardly said a single word to us and acted like we were annoying him for even being there. We took the food home (because honestly there is no way I was going to actually eat here…) hoping «maybe it’ll TASTE good». Honestly, it was so-​so. I could make better in a microwave. But the best part was that night I woke up feeling so extremely sick, I had my head in the toilet for hours! My one friend had a similar experience, and another friend said although she didn’t get that sick, her stomach was definitely not happy. NEVER NEVER NEVER coming back. Not sure how this place still exists?

Love this place, order for dinner often and bring my family in to eat sometimes. My son is crazy about their bbq chicken pizza but my favorite is their calzones! They have really creamy Ricotta cheese and are generous with the fillings, they don’t put any sauce inside but give you a nice big cup of it to dip. Although I eat here often enough, today was my first time getting the lunch special. I got a one topping mini calzone with a pretty good sized salad and a drink for $ 5.50 it probably wouldn’t be enough for big eaters who should stick with the delicious regular sized calzone but I can never finish those so this was perfect. Today I just had a little salad left over.
I also really like the staff here. Super laid back and relaxed, they all talk with me and ask about my day. There’s a guy who is like always working, always answering the phones, been there forever – he’s awesome. But they consistently hire staff that all keep that kind of vibe going.

Awesome pizza place! Greeted us when we first walked in. Very friendly. Food was super tasty and the flavor was original. The crust was my favorite part; just the right consistency and flavor. I could have used a little more cheese, but only Bc I love lots cheese on my pizza lol definitely will eat here again when we’re in the area!

This place is really good. Always get the pasta pairs special for $ 17.99. The baked spaghetti is really good and the mama Mia special is delicious!!! Can’t beat the price.

This mom & pop italian Pizzeria is very family friendly and always puts customers first. They do their absolute best as a small business and David the owner has owned the business for quite a long time! I am a long time customer and I find the food amazing! Especially the garlic cheese rolls and mama Mia!
A few weeks ago these customers came in and demanded food being extremely rude right when they came in, they must have been drunk because they were making such a mess and being extremely loud, after sitting next to these couples for the past 30 mins me and my kids are just washing our hands for them to make their own pizza when the women who are practically ate all her food starts yelling and demanding a refund to the new cook. My kids start getting upset asking what’s wrong so obviously I’m worried. I come up to the counter and find out they have eaten most the food on their plates and they expect full refunds. I tell them they need to quiet down because my children are getting upset because of their drunk behavior and loudness, they give me a huge attitude, yell at me and leave. So naturally I want to defend this place I go to every so often on the Internet.
I don’t understand these people that want to ruin small business’s, just to get a FREE meal. And then make up lies about the owner and restaurant itself.
That whole group of people should be ashamed of themselves.
I’m not that much of regular at the restaurant but when my kids want to make their own pizza David and his crew always treat them like family, especially when it came to little Ians birthday party I’ve had here two years in a row for very cheap. If I lived closer to this place I would order very Friday night, but the drive is just too far now.
Don’t listen to those Unilocal reviews that bad mouth a small restaurant for doing nothing wrong but dealing with this group of drunken kids that wanted free food and their money back.
Get to know the people behind the counter, I have never seen them say anything rude to any customer for the past 5 years I’ve been coming here. This place is great :) people just take advantage of the restaurants niceness!

The owner is very unprofessional. He needs to learn some social skills as well as learning to accept criticisms on the dishes on menu. He talked back and yelled at when I made a little comment about how the dish tasted a little off. I guess I should expect poor quality food at a express food spot

Extremely RUDE owner/​employees!!! I was craving for pesto pasta and decided to try this place out and boy was it a mistake! They ran out so I got the chicken Marsala instead and my boyfriend got the fettuccine Alfredo. First they forget to add ranch dressing on our salad. After our food came out I took a bite of the chicken Marsala and it was so gross. The flavor was too strong and bitter, I’m assuming they added too much wine to the sauce. The Alfredo was fine. My boyfriend told the guy about the taste of the Marsala and he didn’t believe it until he put his damn nose to the bowl and sniffed it then he brought it to the stupid owner. Boy was he rude by far the WORST customer service ever!!! This douche bag actually said I was stuffing my face so how could I be complaining about the taste! LOL!!! He ended up giving half of our money back and told us to never come back after we had an altercation. He said to not cuss in his restaurant in front of customers, but he made all those rude comments and ended up cussing himself!!! I will just stick with Haus of Pizza or Nick’s from now on for cheap pasta!!! If you read other reviews of this disgusting place you will see other people commenting on their lack of good customer service!!!

By far the worst Italian restaurant I been too. The so called guy who runs that place is VERY rude and defensive when I told him that a dish I ordered didn’t taste right. He then went ahead and said that my girlfriend was stuffing her face so he doesn’t know why we wanted a refund… is that really how you keep people coming back? I will NEVER recommend this disgusting place to anyone! Please read the negative comments on this business before you decide to come here!

My friend and I were in the Fountain Valley area and in the mood for some pizza! Using my Unilocal app we found Italian Pizza and Pasta Express! It is in a quiet area but its quaint! And let me tell you the pasta was amazing and the cheese bread was mouth watering!!! Prices were reasonable as well! Highly recommend this spot! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! Will return for sure!

What. A. DISAPPOINTMENT! Stopped here for dinner on a whim with my family one night. We got pasta, garlic bread, and salads. The pasta was bland, literally tastes like nothing, which was such a bummer. The «garlic» bread was buttered and toasted bread with minimal flavor too. I actually added seasoning and… Garlic… To the bread and pasta. The salad might have been the biggest disappointment with limp, brown pieces of lettuce throughout and oily Caesar dressing to top it off.
Fairly priced.
Everyone is talking about their pizza so if they get another chance, perhaps we’ll try that instead.

Pizza was pretty bad the crust was doughy and barley any sauce. The house salad was decent and fresh. Won’t be going back here!

I used to order from this place a lot. To much sauce on the lasagna and no flavor in the «garlic» bread. Bread and butter is not what I orderd. The garlic chicken pizza was pretty good though. I give this management 2 thumbs down.

Horrible lasagna– I edible. Maybe they had a bad day?
It had a vinegar taste. I think it was spoiled…
Penne: overlooked pasta with a tomato paste.
Pizza– mediocre
I called the restaurant and I spoke with a guy but he just got defensive and didn’t seem to care. Didn’t even offer a refund.
What a waste of money.
Threw everything away for fear of getting sick.

Awesome little place. Great service and great food. the lunch special they have Is even better. Stop by if you ever ever hurry… Won’t be disappointed!

My gf and I were starving and I noticed this place out of the corner of my eye and decided to pop in.
The employees made us both feel very uncomfortable. No one smiled. We placed an order for a personal pizza and by the time I ordered I already regretted ordering here. There’s no one in this place you would think they would be happy to see someone.
They charge $ 1 to use a Visa card. That pissed me off too. Luckily I had some cash.
Never coming back. Ever. Never. Not even if it was free. Not even if they paid me.

People love this place for food. I like the kid’s «Make your own pizza» here, yet I’m not a fan of the food. It’s just ok for me. But I’m not fond of «Italian restaurant» in general. You might like here…
