I’d like to thank this place for giving a few of my out of towner friends and I a good time for a couple hours!
We were visiting the area from NJ and to kill time before dinner decided to hit this place. It’s really cheap… Ten dollars gave me about 1.5−2 hrs of gaming. Most games are outdated and its more of a mini Dave and busters/​chuck e cheese than an arcade per se but if you are looking for a cheap/​fun night out with some friends I definetly reccomend this.

First, let me say the staff gets 5 stars. They are always nice and accommodating. You need to be a certain type of person to put up with all of the kids when they are buying things with their tickets and they always handle it with grace. But the place in general needs something new. They replaced the basketball games with new basketball games and one is out of order. That pretty much sums the place up. It’s like… almost great and then it’s not. I don’t know what they could add but when we left, my kid said «This place isn’t as fun» and I know what he means.

I did make a return to Fun and games last Friday. There are hardly any video games there at all, maybe about 20 the very most, verses almost 100 games and pinballs back in the 80’s and 90’s.
I noticed where most of the old video games that were taken out, those area’s were transformed into three kids party rooms.
Right now there are a few good games there such as Jurrasic park, Hydro Thunder, Batman, and Adventures pinball.
it’s really a shame that the owner at fun and games desided to get rid of most of the video games, i just remember fun and games being an arcade with game after game, after game.
Now, it’s such a small arcade.

I had my daughter’s birthday party there yesterday and it was GREAT! The kids had a ball, LOVED Laser Tag and had just enough tokens to keep most of them busy (maybe a few more would have been even better). Staff was great and the whole thing ran seamlessly. Would recommend to those looking for a bday idea. Very reasonably priced for what you get.

I have been here several times with my nephews and they love it. The staff have always been very friendly and pleasant. The only improvement i would suggest would be to have a security system set up similar to Chuck e Cheese where kids and their accompanying adults have their hands stamped with invisible ink and the kids cannot leave unless they are with an adult with a matching stamp.

I was just there to attend my 7 year old Son’s classmates birthday party. wow has that place changed for the worst! The last time I was there was when I was in my early teens when my Grandfather had a bowling alley up the street called Ten Pin Center. Many people would frequent Fun and Games after bowling for a day of fun. Back then that place was great. It was always very dark inside with nothing but one great video game after another. my favorite was Asteroids. What have they done to that place? They have made it into a cheap side of the road Arcade pit like you would find in Hampton New Hampshire. such trash! They have a cheap and ugly saloon where you shoot targets with a mannequin that’s an old man sitting there that looks like he is about to fall off his rocker, creepy!, a Wheel of Fortune token spin game, so many other junk games and not to mention a counter full of cheap prizes to redeem all your tokens and worthless raffle tickets. That place is such a joke! I was stunned when I walked in. They have way too many little birthday areas set aside for kids. Where are the real video games? They now have a laser tag room that is bigger than the actual game room itself and they post a Bouncer like type guy inside that tells you you can’t go in. What a crap hole of a place. very disappointing. never going back!!!

Fun and Games seems like it hasn’t changed in about 20 years, because it looks almost identical to a place I used to go to in Methuen when I was 8 called Dream Machine. Back in 1993, Dream Machine was THE place to be at the Methuen Mall, but eventually, arcades went out of style and most of them closed by 2000. It seems like Fun and Games has hung on for dear life and made it to 2014 when most of my generation is feeling nostalgic for such things, and today’s kids are all about video games. But it seems old in there. And it’s a bit small.
Other notes:
–There’s an airbrush artist (at least on Saturdays) that will paint graffiti on hats and t-​shirts.
–No food stand, although they offer to deliver Uno’s to you at the arcade
–Lots of birthday parties and kids all ove rthe place on Saturdays… probably Sundays too!

Just had my son’s 6th birthday party there and it was a huge success. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The price is quite reasonable and they really take care of everything. I would highly recommend this place!

I don’t usually like going to kids arcades, but I was very impressed with Fun and Games. We went on an early release day from school so it was not crowded which was great, but the best part for me as the parent on duty was the very helpful staff. We were able to call ahead for a pizza. They had a place waiting for us even though we had not reserved it ahead of time. Once there, everyone was very friendly and helpful and I didn’t walk away feeling cheated like you sometimes do at arcades. Good value for the money in a clean, friendly place. I was impressed!

I was also sad the space ship entrance was gone. I expected more of the old school arcade games. BUT! Fun & Games is one of the very few arcades still with us. I had a lot of fun there, epecially beating «Let’s Go Jungle!,» and playing laser tag. I went on a Saturday with two friends and it wad no problem to play with just the 3 of us. I was thrilled to see the old entrance captured in sweet computer graphics in the instructional laser tag video (right? I didn’t imagine that?).
I give Fun & Games 5 stars because even though it couldn’t remain untouched by time, I had a lot of fun on the cheap and at least they kept the spaceship on the ceiling!

Thoroughly mediocre arcade. I went here on a date and the only thing that saved this place from being a bust was the air hockey table. True, there was laser tag but I can not justify playing with little kids… I am entirely too competitive and down right vicious. I really don’t want to be kicked out of an arcade for making some kid cry. I did have fun playing skee ball but their DDR machine (along with at least 5 other machines — including one of the two Fast and Furious rides meaning that I couldn’t even play a two person race) was out of order. What gives?! I REALLY was looking forward to making a fool out of myself by «dancing» to some tunes. If you are looking for a place to play some games I’d really recommend Boston Bowl… at least you can play pool or go bowling if half of the games are out of order.

Noooooooooooooo! Avoid fun and games if you are looking for a good authentic arcade gaming experience. This place was once one of the former hangout spots Framingham had to offer many years ago. Since then it’s been stripped down from it’s original design and most of the games that made it what it was are gone. Walking into the place you felt you were on a space ship as surrounding strobe and black lights flashed all around you. It was like you were being shot into a play like CATS or XANADU! Very elaborate. Today you walk through a set of double door and it’s just blah. If you were a frequent customer in the past get ready to have your heart ripped out. Today it’s more like a Chuckie Cheese’s minus the pizza. You can spend about 20 – 30 minute once around but find lack of variety in games. Don’t expect a great selection in prizes either they’ll mostly be knock offs or carnival prize equivalents.
I will say it’s good for young, young kids who have a short attention span. But for anyone who was a Framingham resident, like me, and you’re looking to relive some childhood fun this place has taken every bit of that away. Sorry.

This place is loaded with the latest video games and is actually a pretty large place although hidden off the beaten path. It even has Laser Tag and a area for birthday parties and skee ball. The games are all in working order and the staff although its all kids is pretty friendly. They could however put more games in here to load it up even more.

Growing up, arcades seems to be the norm. I truly believe it’s on the verge of extinction. For anyone that grew up in Boston knew there was Dream Machine, Teddy Bear, Jillians & Boston Bowl. Sometimes I wonder, what do kids do these days? (I don’t have any, so I’m justified to ponder!)
When I miss those adolescent days, I go to fun & games. It’s like going into a time capsule where I can be a kid again!
I’m due for another visit…

so whats the dealio here? arcade games, check, pinball check, kiddy games, i guess check, im not here for those, but i guess if you like skee ball or the ilk, this will do.
so its right near the job and when the job gets to dullsville, this is a good cop out. most if not all games are functional and cheapo 2 tokens cheap, so thats a nice perk. they even have a drum machine, which was really cool back before rockband, well now not as much, but still worth a laugh at your own expense.
its a bit incognito at first, but you can see the sign right on rt 9 by legals and metro grill, very 80s looking, management seems to be there too no lost tokens. this is not funspot, but it has its moments.
