John and his son are a great team. While my job was a small one, they arrived on time and did the job as promised. The best part was that their estimate was exactly in line with the actual cost of the job. Both father and son were not only professional, but were nice guys who knew what they were doing. I highly recommend calling them for your job.

My hot water heater exploded one night last week without warning. What a mess!
I spent a long time trying the «emergency» numbers next to warranty information (the warranty still had about two years), but had to wait until the next morning to talk to anyone. After several hours of phone calls to deal with Home Depot, I finally gave up dealing with the plumber they were using (new to the area, they told me, and I had to pay for the installation, etc. – this plumber first quoted one rate, then another – with very high prices!). So, I took some advice, and looked for another plumber. I discovered quickly that not everyone is willing to work with Home Depot in this sort of situation.
John and his son saved the day!
They told me how I could make the job easier, including choosing the right heater to replace my old one. They picked up the new heater at Home Depot, and installed it much faster than I expected. They returned the old heater, as well, and waited for me to make sure it was properly refunded. In a stressful situation, they were incredibly kind, and everything is working great now.

I called John early this morning after waking up to water in the kitchen. My «regular» plumber was not available. I read the strong reviews of John on Unilocal and decided to give John a try. John called me back within moments, immediately accommodated his schedule to come by within the hour, and was professional, honest, and thorough in his evaluation of the issue. He did not try to sell me unnecessary services, and indicated his strong belief that the issue was not related to plumbing. I was extremely impressed with John and with his son, Mike, and he will be my go-​to plumber in the future.

I used John to do a water heater replacement.
I really appreciated that they make calls to schedule their appointment in the evening. This made it easy to get in contact with them and coordinate the schedule. They arrived within the designated time window. While doling the replacement, they noticed an issue with the water heater vent and replaced it. Since this job had been contracted through Lowes, this wasn’t included in the price, but they did the vent replacement for free because it bothered them to leave the existing venting in place.
As the other reviewer mentioned, efficient and personable. If/​when I need heating/​plumbing work, they will be one of my first phone calls.

John and team were at my home today to install a dishwasher. I did not select them, they were the installer selected by Lowes. Fast, efficient, personable. They were great and I will definitely use them again.
