Been living in the area for a while and never stopped in until recently when I noticed it after visiting a nearby theatre. I was pleasantly surprised and have been back multiple times ever since. I’ve only been there for breakfast, and everything is always so fresh and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I’m always impressed that the restaurant is so clean and consistent with the food and the service, can’t wait for my next visit!

This is a nice friendly place to eat, much classier than a diner. However, a trusted friend had a bad experience. A dirty cup of coffee was brought to the table with something nasty in it. The waitress was informed. Instead of placing the cup with the dirty dishes, she took the coffee in full view of the manager’s wife and poured it into a new cup. My friend will never go into this place again. This same waitress, at another time, was overheard saying«customers should get no more than two cups.» I have eaten at this place and the food has been well prepared. However, I don’t believe this was an isolated incident. I wonder what is going on in the kitchen.

There cream of broccoli and cream of turkey soup are both great. Other than that it’s hit or miss if the meal will be up to par.

I can’t say anything against there food. It’s basically a diner, the food might be like a notch or two higher than your average diner though. It’s been run by like the same people for as long as I’ve known it and it looks much nicer inside since their renovation a few years ago.

Honestly we always Unilocal before we try a new place… The one time we did not the food came out horrible… We ordered chicken parm & shrimp linguine, baked clams as appetizers… Baked clams were canned with the shell and bread crumbs on top to make it seem as if not clams from a can. Smh chicken was dry and shrimp had no taste… The best part was the bread and butter. sorry to say

Dinner specials include: soup, salad, Entrée, Dessert, coffee and wine. I have had some entrees were quite good. Others could be improved. Family atmosphere especially for it’s regulars. My dad is one of them.

Consistently good food and service, at a reasonable price. We’ve been dining there with our family for years and have never been disappointed.

We were promptly seated and then completely ignored for 20 minutes while tables by us were seated afterwards and had their orders taken first. We left hungry and annoyed. We are NEVER going to Alpine again, ever.

Hey, I’m no Greek, but I know food and this place has excellent food. It had excellent food 15 years ago, and still did last month when I picked up lunch. I can’t claim its the best Greek food(and I am sure my buddy John S. would agree with me on that) but it fits the bill for me. I haven’t had any real Greek Meals here… but have had all the Americanized Greek things. Spinach bread, most salads they offer, gyro’s(pronounced yee-rows from what I gather) souvlaki, etc… and loved ALL of it. In the area, its the best place I know of and there are four to choose from within a 4 mile radius of my home.

I would give Zero stars if available! I do not recommend this restaurant for a number of reasons. My parents are regular customers at this establishment and Teddy the owner knows them very well. or at least acts like he does when the check is being paid, so my Dad thought it would be a nice idea to have a surprise lunch for my mom here. The service was horrible, the food was tasteless and overpriced and the fact that the owner didn’t even make an appearance to say hello and congratulations to a frequent customer who brought 20 guests, is just bad business! I am glad my dad’s eyes are open and he will no longer be a customer to this establishment… there are plenty of good places around!

Come here and this is your essential dining plan: start with the Greek salad… as large as you can get cause it’s one of the best I’ve ever had(and being Greek I’ve eaten at many Greek restaurants). To that add a cream of turkey soup. Then for main course a pizza burger… it’s so well cooked and the perfect amount of sauce & cheese on an English muffin… messy but worth it. FInally, save room for dessert or take it to go, and get the rice pudding. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Other recommendations include the seafood fra diavolo, and Greek chicken wrap. Service is great. Family owners are wonderful.

Honestly if I can give zero stars I would. Food is horrible and service is not that much better.

What a joke. This place is a step above a shitty diner, the food is not very good. Pass and try something else.
