Jimmy’s Coney Grill

Giving them 1 star because I have too. Not a option for 0 stars. Ordered delivery and the order isn’t right. I should know by now to NOT order delivery from them. The order was taken properly but not made correct. Sucks cuz I dine in and get delivery 2 – 3 times a week. time to find some place new.

I’m so happy Jimmy and his family have returned to Fraser! My wife and I eat here often. When we just don’t feel like cooking and need something casual and quick Jimmy’s is the place. Jimmy and his son’s know everyone and go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome, the food is hot and comes up fast. The menu is typical coney island fare with enough choices to feed any palate. Breakfast anytime.
Prices are very reasonable. Although not on the menu, I asked for broiled cod rather than deep fried. No problem! it was great! added homemade cream tomato soup, rice with red sauce, and a crisp salad. All nice. The homemade rice pudding for dessert is a must have.
Wait staff was quick and efficient, returned several times to make sure we had everything we needed.
If you are looking for a decent meal, want it served quick and hot and don’t want to spend a bunch, Jimmy’s rocks!

Since this place is walking distance from my house, and has recently been taken over by new owners my wife and I thought we’d give it a try.
I guess it all depends on what you’re looking for. The place has zero atmosphere. It’s pretty clean though.
I guess it’s pretty standard for your basic local coney or burger diner.
We had a really nice waitress who knew the menu.
The food — was ok. I had fish and chips. The fish itself was pretty good, but it had so much batter on it that
I had to separate the fish away from the batter. The fries were pretty decent. My wife had a greek salad and it
was merely ok.
All in all, it was decent but nothing spectacular or special. Very average. I probably won’t return unless I’m desperate.
