Frederick Window Tinting

This place did an amazing job on my ’12 optima. I actually feel terrible by just now getting around to doing this review but better late then never I guess. Took my car there recently and they were amazingly professional. They called half way into the tinting job and told me the previous owners of my car left tint residue behind. I told them do whatever they had to do to make it look good… And they did not disappoint! my wife is about to get a new car and guess where we’ll be going for window tinting? Thanks a lot for your work guys!

First let me start off by saying that Joe and Sharyn are awesome! This was my 2^nd car that I have brought to Frederick Window Tinting. The tint on my first car looked so good with 30% that I decided to do the same for my new Genesis coupe! They use a top of the line tint brand with a lifetime warranty and not only that but you call or text to make an appointment and they will personally text you to confirm your personalized time. When you get there, they have a cute little shop that was well organized and clean and you are the main attention. You get to watch the whole process and the job is done IMMEDIATELY! No taking it to a shop where you drop it off and hand over the keys and then you wait around all day in a line of customers wondering «what’s taking so long?» or «what are they doing with my car?» Joe knows exactly what he is doing and at the same time he is doing your windows he can carry a nice conversation to keep you feeling comfortable. I was in an out within an hour and that was just taking my time and relaxing. The tint looks amazing and I might be bringing another car real soon! Thanks Joe and Sharyn

Reached out to the crew via text on Tuesday evening, and they were able to schedule me for a way quicker than expected Thursday afternoon appointment. This was my first tint job, and Sharyn did a good job educating me on what %age of tint to with, in a risk vs. reward type of way. I thought the 45% legal was too light, so I went with 20% — very happy with the result! Donnie did a great job with the installation, it took roughly an hour and 15 minutes for my 2016 Civic.
Waiting area is small but comfy and accommodating with complimentary K Cups and water, as well as some light snacks. Free WiFi and an Apple TV for your perusal were cool bonuses, and Joe & Sharyn’s son is an interesting little fella to talk to as well!
Wholeheartedly recommend — and I drove 50 miles out of the way to get it done, too. Worth it!

You want to talk about amazing then talk about Frederick Window Tinting! I texted them last night after hours and Sharon was able to tell me all about the different tints they have along with an estimate. They had a cancellation and were able to fit me in their schedule the next day! Upon arrival Joe and Sharon greeted me and made me feel welcome. They have a pretty sweet Keurig and snack collection as well. Joe was able to go over my vehicle with me and specify what tint would do what, what all my options were, price ranges, and even held different tints to the Windows to let me see what it would look like. While waiting I met their son and daughter. Their boy JOEY is a trip, absolutely too cute and funny. Got to talk to the little man for a bit while I waited. End result my vehicle looks amazing, seamless, no bubbles, & treated my vehicle as if it was his. Joe’s work is just as nice as the new shop. He has done 4 cars for me and countless others for my friends and coworkers. From the window tint, vinyl roof wrap, tail light tint, and interior vinyl wrapping, his work is as good as the products he uses. I would recommend Frederick window tinting to anyone looking for a great product at a great price.

Great place to get your windows tinted. Joe knocked it out for me. Wouldn’t take my car to just anybody. Very impressed with the people, very friendly and knowledgeable. Clean shop as well. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

I have tinted many cars in my lifetime and this place has been the most professional, timely and overall outstanding tinting facility I’ve ever been in. The quality of tint and the service has been phenomenal.
So far I have tinted a 2015 Smart and a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and I plan on getting future vehicles done here as well. I’d recommend this shop to anybody who wants their car tinted. Sharyn and Joe are super friendly and easy to work with as well!

Joe did an amazing job on my car! I took my Corolla S in last year and had them done, it still looks perfect. No bubbles, high quality — couldn’t be happier. Quick work and my car looks so much better, and even better it still looks amazing.

I am from a small town in KY, and being used to the hardworking attitude of the people from there, I see the same in the mechanic and his family here at the shop. They are nice people!
Tinting takes about 2 hours. My car looks very nice, will update in a month or two to see how the carbon tint holds up.

This business was formerly known as Germantown Tint. I had worked with Sharyn on other things so she was the first person who came to mind when I went to look for tint for my 15 Prius V. Anyways, I arrived and met the previous customer as she was leaving. She was very impressed and was having a good conversation with Sharyn. I spoke to Joe and we established that my vehicle fell under a different MD law. So we agreed on the job and he started. Sharyn and I visited while we ate lunch. Joe was quick and efficient. I got to visit with their new puppy and their kids. It was a nice facility. My only complaint was it was a little hard to find but that was nothing in their control. I appreciated the reminder text.

Got my GMC done about two months ago (wanted to make sure there were no residual issues) and everything looks great, very friendly. Fast service. Would definitely recommend!

I came in to get the windows of my Honda CR-​V tinted. Setting up an appointment was easy via text. When I arrived Joe patiently walked me through the various tinting services he offered. He also helped me understand Maryland’s law on auto tint. Prices are reasonable and you get your money’s worth!
While Joe worked on my car I waited inside the shop on a comfortable sofa while watching TV. Joe and Sharyn are extremely professional and friendly. When Joe was done, he made sure I was happy with the finished product. I’m posting pictures of my CR-​V as well; the windows look amazing. No bubbles, no ripples. Fresh and clean all around.
I’ll be coming back again to get my girlfriends car tinted as well!

Today was my second time visiting Joe to have the windows tinted in my car. They’ve moved to a new facility and it is much larger than his personal garage. Just like last time, I sent a text to make an appointment. Both Joe and his wife Sharyn are really quick about texting back and are super flexible about scheduling. I took Joe’s suggestion and put 20% on my front windows so they would match what was on the rears from the factory. He also put 5% on my sunroof. I freaking LOVE how everything turned out. The color is perfect and I can already tell a difference in the amount of heat that radiates into the car. Joe – you were totally right, I didn’t have to close the sunroof cover at all on the way home and we were totally comfortable. Sorry Sharyn! =P
