Where do begin? This vendor is AMAZING! Jordan, Melissa, and Lola were the perfect trio to glam up my wedding party! For my April 2015 wedding they did the hair and makeup of my mother, grandmother, sister-​in-​law, 7 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and 5 petal princesses! We were a handful, and Jordan & team created a calm, fun, and jovial environment during the wedding morning. More importantly, the team was professional and kept to a tight schedule so all of the lovely ladies were ready to go for photos in advance of the ceremony! Jordan K. Winn & Co. was one of my favorite wedding vendors, and I feel so lucky I booked with them early and was able to reap the benefit of the services! (If you are considering this vendor, please ignore all of those planning timelines you see on pinterest & the knot… BOOK EARLY!) I did a trial with Jordan about 2 months out from the wedding to walk through my ideas, and I was so impressed with the tweaks and minor corrections made on the day of the wedding to create the entirely perfect look! Jordan made me look and feel like a movie star, and knocked my «modern take on Grace Kelly» out of the ballpark! Additional benefits included having both air brush and fake eye lashes as part of the makeup package, and not an up charge… My bridesmaids especially appreciated this opportunity to have a high end makeup look for the wedding! In addition, the wedding makeup and hair styles lasted the entire day. We began hair and makeup preparation at 9 a.m. The looks that were created held through the ceremony that began at 6:15, and to the end of the reception at midnight. Aside from the experience on the day of the wedding, I have to note that communicating with Jordan in advance of the wedding was seamless… We made a few changes about 4 months out, and it was easy to make the contract modifications and digitally review & sign the contract. In addition, the payment process was transparent and simple. From a business perspective, I appreciate the organized scheduling and approach to planning the services. Wedding planning and prep can be such a headache, so it’s so nice when you are working with organized vendors who work to ensure the details for the day are correct and the necessary actions are made/​taken in advance. I highly recommend going with an open ended trial… Show Jordan some inspiration, but also listen to her opinions and advice. She was spot on with the recs for my bridal look and also my wedding party. There is a reason she is the best in the business in the DMV area! I look forward to using her for special events in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about Jordan and her team. My experience with the company started in January of 2014 for my April 2014 wedding. I was shopping for a makeup artist last minute, and Jordan in getting me set up right away with an appointment for a trial. The first trial, the girl was very nice and sweet, but I just wasn’t thrilled with the makeup. I didn’t feel it was the look I was going for or what I asked for. It didn’t look terrible, it just wasn’t as «glam» as I was looking for– it was more natural. After talking with my mom who went with me, I decided to contact Jordan about it. I normally am never that person to cause a fuss, or complain, but this is my wedding day and I wanted to look amazing! Jordan was SO understanding, and didn’t make me feel bad at all. She asked a few questions about what more I was looking for, and suggested I come back for one more trial with Jen. She also didn’t even charge me for the follow up trial. Jen was AMAZING! I loved the look she did at my second trial. She also is so personable, easy to talk to, and has a contagious energetic vibe. I was thrilled to book her for my wedding. The morning of, Jen arrived super early to make sure all of my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself got done in time for our 2pm ceremony. She did a phenomenal job, and all of my girls said they had never felt so beautiful. I was so pleased with the service, and I got several compliments throughout the night on my makeup.
I was so impressed by both Jordan and Jen’s professionalism and quality, that I recommended them to my friend who was getting married Sept 2014. She ended up loving Jordan as well, and booked Jordan herself for both makeup and hair. Jordan remembered me, and was just as professional, funny, caring, and sweet as she was in my interactions with her for my own wedding.
I am so glad that I was able to provide another client for Jordan, as she is top notch. I will never go anywhere else for professional makeup or hair again.

Laura did my hair and makeup for my wedding on sight and did a fantastic job! I was absolutely in love with both my hair and my makeup. I did not schedule a trial in order to stay within budget, and Jordan was very understanding and accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how happy I am that I chose this business for my wedding day.

I guess I get to be the lucky person that puts in the first review. Jordan and the rest of her team are top notch. They are well trained artists who are creative, helpful, caring and patient. She has done my hair and make-​up for my wedding; created my Dia De Los Muertos look (and my husband’s!); and helped me and my girls out for New Years; she also does a great spray on tan.
