Thank you for the follow-​up, Mr. Stapp. Though frustrated about the tire pressure sensor, Clint was able to mitigate some of my frustration by making accommodations to get the clear protective bra put on my car the same day that the sensor was being replaced. I’d planned to do this eventually and it just made sense to do it all at once. He went above and beyond to make it happen. For that, I am very appreciative. I would highly recommend Stapp to anyone considering buying a Toyota. TJ was must more responsive and communicative than either of the dealers I talked with ok Denver. And although there was a slight hiccup with the vehicle condition at the time of pickup, the staff made every effort to rectify the issue.

Charged me a $ 60 restocking fee on one part. Seems kind of high considering I also got work done on my car. Also told it would cost $ 60 to reprogram keys and then they bait and switched it tp $ 120.

I have done business with these people for 30 years. Very friendly and personable staff. The one time I had a noise issue with my FJ, that I had some difficulty describing, they sent a technician out on a ride with me to illustrate the problem. I will continue getting my service done there because I trust their work and their staff.

Dealership is marginal at best. They suggest you rate them as exceptional which the closest I can come to that is taking exception at being told how to evaluate them. Never have they come close to providing that level service. More than once, I have had to take my vehicle in several times before the issue was resolved. The lackluster waiting area is stuck in the middle of the showroom with children running around and people talking over one another on their cell phones. Since oil changes routinely run around an hour or longer, the wait becomes interminable. When my free oil changes expire, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My husband wanted to try taking his Land Cruiser to a dealership to have things looked at. So we tried…
He took in one day to get oil changed and investigate an problem. They had to order a part. But they did not put console they had to take apart back together, it was misaligned. He didn’t feel it was that big of a deal because they would have to take it apart when part came in.
Well I took it in a few days later. My husband made an appointment for 2pm. I got there at 1:40, they told it would take 1 — 1 ½ hours. Doable right??? Well I got in my car to leave at 6:25pm. Hmmm, you do the math!
I understand complications but they said they have been backed up. Could they not have called or even told me when I got there OR even told me as I was pacing around the property??? I could have came back or arranged a ride.
I give two stars because they did price adjustments.
Disrespect of my time, sitting for almost 5 hours, not being approached by a single person the entire time I was there, gates closed.

I never bought a vehicle from these guys but I do get my free oil changes on my Tacoma there. The service they do seems fine but they don’t offer loaners or even a shuttle. Not a very comfortable waiting area either. Not fun waiting for your hour plus long oil change.

This is the first time I’ve given a good recommendation for a car sales person!
I bought a used Prius from them yesterday and it was the most painless car purchase experience I’ve experienced! This was mainly due to our sales person Penny Andersen. She was GREAT! I will definitely consider buying cars from them and Penny in the future.

Purchase a Certified Used Highlander in February from Jim. The transaction was smooth and painless. Props to him for being so nice while we entertained our 2 yr daughter for a couple of hours. A few weeks later I was reviewing the service history and Surprise #1: they had installed a remote starter when they had sold this vehicle as new to the original owner. I thought, awesome, extra feature… Surprise #2: the remote starter didn’t work. The SUV would light up, but would not turn over. Surprise #3: When I called the service dept at Stapp to ask if the remote starter was covered under the 12 month bumper to bumper Toyota Certified Used Vehicle Warranty, the nice lady told me no, it was not. Surprise #4: I had a gut feeling it was covered, so I called the Toyota Certified Used Car warranty hotline, and the man clearly stated the remote starter SHOULD be covered under the bumper to bumper since it was sold with the car when new, and it was a Toyota OEM product. Surprise #5, the plastic body cladding at the bottom of the door on the rear passenger door is loose. I found this out while washing my car. I guess body panels are not included in the 200 point Toyota Certified Used Car Inspection, b/​c apparently I’m supposed to pay to have that fixed too. Stapp Toyota is FULL of Surprises! And not the good kind. Beware…

Painless and everyone walked away a winner.

My scheduled oil change was done on time and in a timely manner, and I liked the fact that they also washed the car. It’s also great that they have a kids play area. I didn’t bring my kids this time, but in the future I know I don’t have to worry about scheduling any maintenance at times my kids have other care.

Purchased a used Mercedes today and the deal was absolutely painless and flawless!!!
Have been looking for a car for about 2 months, found the nearly perfect vehicle at my price range and with lower than average miles here at Stapp. They did a price drop just last night and that settled the deal. Made the trip this morning to buy the car.
In the previous week I had made two trips to the dealer and worked with Bruce. A very easy going gentleman, test drove the car and felt no pressure whatsoever! The actually buying process was handled by Penny and went as smooth and easy as you could ever expect!
Saw the owner in his office and stopped just to say I appreciated how easy and hassle free working with his dealership was and Mr Stapp took the time to just shoot the breeze with a few minutes. A very nice personable and very professional gentleman who I found out we grew up in the same west Denver area… and he attended my «rival» high school. Small world.
Bottom line I would highly recommend that if your looking for car to check out this Dealer. a no «mashugana», professional and truly pleasurable place to buy a car!
(and BTW– I love my first Benz too, it also is truly a pleasure to drive!)

During a recent Thanksgiving week visit for routine service, an unfortunate mistake in the Service Department resulted in a significant issue for our 2014 Venza. The Stapp Toyota team accepted ownership of the problem and worked with us in resolving the problem.
Brion Stapp told me from the onset that some of the strongest relationships that exist with the dealership today are those that were forged by working through tough challenges. Over the past month, that has become our reality.
What I would want others to know is that Brion stepped up at great expense to make our situation right, ensuring that our car was repaired and will be reliable for years to come. He has demonstrated integrity, sincerity, honesty, and a commitment to go the extra mile.
Today, we picked up our repaired Venza and could not be more pleased. Brion greeted us, introduced himself to my wife, and then apologized to her personally since he had not had the opportunity to do so throughout the process. He made certain all her questions were answered and was total class in every respect. My wife was blown away in the most positive sense of the word.
Today, Brion Stapp not only brought resolution to a mistake, but also assured himself of ongoing, future business. He is the real deal and we wind up 2015 a FAN of Stapp Toyota!

We were in need of having something done on our 2010 4Runner and were having a hard time finding a dealership that had the necessary machine. When we contacted Stapp Interstate Toyota, we made it a point to let them know we had a 40 minute drive to their dealership, so before we made an appointment we wanted to make sure they had the equipment and would be able to do the job for us. They confirmed they could and quoted us a little over $ 200 and said it would take about an hour and a half.
My boyfriend drove down the morning of the appointment and waited at least 2 hours before being told they would not be able to complete the job that day. They told him they did not have the fluid and they’d need to keep the vehicle for the whole day to complete the job. I had to drive 40 minutes down there to pick him up and we let them know we’d return the following morning. Towards the end of the day, I received a call from the Service Manager, Ryan Zamudio, letting me know the gauge on their machine broke and they wouldn’t be able to complete the job after all. We asked for information about how long it would take to be able to get the job done and were told it could be several weeks or longer before the machine was fixed.
We drove 40 minutes for the fourth time in two days, only to pick up a vehicle that still had the same issue. We spoke with Josh that morning and he said they may be able to acquire the machine from somewhere in Denver and would let us know if so. He said Ryan would be back on Monday and that I’d hear from someone with an update. A whole week went by with no follow-​up so on Friday, I left a message for Ryan. Several days into the following week, still no return call so I called back and spoke with Tiffany. I now had to explain the saga to someone else but she did at least call me back pretty quickly that day after she had the chance to determine the status, which was still the machine is broken and it may take several weeks to get it fixed or replaced.
We started calling around to other dealerships since it seemed obvious Stapp wasn’t going to deliver. We were having difficulty finding anyone who had what was needed so I called Stapp again to ask about the option Josh mentioned to get a replacement gauge/​machine. I also just asked for any direction or assistance in finding a dealership that could help us out. I left a voicemail on a shared mailbox for Tiffany and Josh and never received a return call. Weeks now have passed and they never called back.
After extensive outreach, we found that the fluid alone on this job costs over $ 200 plus pretty significant labor time, bringing in quotes closer to $ 500. We can’t help but wonder if Stapp realized how much they underquoted us and just stopped calling us back. Either way, we’ve identified a great service partner with Mountain States Toyota and their ability to do what we needed in a timely and professional manner. They’ve earned our business for years to come and we will definitely never work with Stapp again, for service or to purchase.

Purchasing our Camry at Stapp Toyota was by far our best vehicle purchasing experience and we tell everyone about it.
When we inquired about a vehicle online, Tom P. took the time to really find out what we were looking for and found a different/​better car that met our needs. Even though we were interested in purchasing a certified used vehicle instead of new, we were treated as if we were buying a brand new car.
The buying process was smooth and quick. Tom and Clint cared about our time and worked with us to make the deal happen and we weren’t waiting all night. We are looking forward to having our Camry serviced at Stapp, and it will be our first stop from now on when we purchase vehicles.

Just got off the phone with the Internet Sales guy at Stapp interstate toyota, who made the mistake of acting surprised, and offended that I shopped at another toyota dealership, and wanted to know if they would match the discount that groove Toyota was going to give me. So I told Ryan at Stapp, to take my name off of the 2016 toyota tacoma I was looking to purchase.
I guess the Internet Sales Department doesn’t know what customer service is, nor how to treat the customer with respect.

I can’t sing the praises of Tim, the associate who helped me at Stapp Interstate Toyota-​Scion, enough. After having been to a couple other dealerships and having had a particularly bad experience with Hyandai Autonation in Westminster, I walked into the dealership with my guard way up and not expecting much. Tim was a breath of fresh air! Knowledgeable and helpful, I never once felt pressured or lead in a direction I wasn’t interested in going. I wasn’t expecting to purchase a vehicle that day, but have no regrets about the car I drove away in and Tim was instrumental in making that seemless transaction happen. Seriously, give him a raise! :) My overall experience at Stapp was great and I will definitely send friends and family there in the futrure.

This is the second time I have purchased a vehicle from Stapp, but it is the first time that I have felt like family at any car dealership. My recommendation to the general public, is seek out Ryan Leer when you’re ready to buy your next car. You know how most car dealers pounce on you when you pull up on the lot? Yea… you need to do that to Mr. Leer. Park your car, walk inside, and find him. From the time my fiancé and I walked in the doors, we were treated with the utmost respect, honesty, and the wealth of vehicle knowledge that Mr. Leer possesses. He shot us straight, no BS, and got us the FJ we wanted at the price we could afford. As a business owner myself, I understand the unquantifiable value of outstanding employees, and Mr. Leer is an absolute asset to Stapp toyota. My fiancé and I are already talking about our next vehicle, which will be a toyota, purchased from Mr. Leer.

I always have my car serviced here because sit is fast and they deliver my car clean.
** This last visit was my final free Toyota Care service. I was told that I needed a new cabin filter and gave consent to have one installed. After my service was completed and I paid for my $ 50 filter, I was offered the Toyota Care Plus which would cover my car for an additional 25,000 miles at $ 299. She then told me that my next service would probably be $ 199 or in my case, $ 150 because I already paid for the cabin filter which is usually included… EXCEPT I already paid for it… Needless to say, the service agents timing is bad and I felt duped! She should have offered me the Toyota Care Plus agreement when she told me about my filter needing to be replaced.

Have had my 2013 Tacoma TRD O/​R serviced here since new. Very clean & organized service department, nice staff, & showroom is sparkling. Last week I had my vehicle service, minor warranty item and an oil change. In addition, I had a noise in the front end somewhere, and told the service writer to have the mechanic check it out, but that even though my Tacoma was still under warranty, that I suspected the noise to be the lift that I had installed elsewhere, and aftermarket.
Upon the completion of the service and repairs, the service writer explained all work was done, & that she had her best mechanic that was familiar with lift kits repair the front end issue and while nothing major, he inspected, tested, & tightened up the loose parts with recommendation I keep an eye on it. Noise was gone, and all was well.
Oh, by the way, they only charge me for my oil change service and did not charge me for the front end repair/​inspection.. My take away was how that’s old school and great service, most places charge you for everything. Thank you Interstate Toyota!

I had a great experience buying a used 4Runner at Stapp. I’ve bought cars from other dealerships before, and felt like taking a shower afterwards due to the sleaziness.
But this was a difference experience. It seemed kindler and gentler. The sales associate, Aaron, was very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. I ended up getting the car I wanted at the price I wanted, and the haggling was fairly painless. The car was clean and well prepared w/​a near complete service record. The reason I shopped there was because my GF has her car serviced at Stapp and has always been pleased with the service. So it seemed like a natural place to start my search, and am glad I did.
