Manager

William is the General Manager at East Bay Vision Center Optometry in Fremont. He is a certified American Board Optician and has an MBA in Management. He enjoys serving his community at EBVC Optometry and hopes to provide you with such a positive experience that you become an EBVC Optometry customer for life!

Went here for an eye exam because I needed new contacts. All the staff was friendly and the doctor was very nice and informative! It was also great that they were open on a Sunday. Great experience, I will definitely come back again!

Slow services, lack of selection…
I was standing there for a good 15 mins before anyone approach and offer to help, their sunglasses are at least 40% price higher than other.

Got my frames from here. They’re tortoise shell Kate Spade frames and still look great and are holding up well after a year. The optometrist (where I got my eyes checked) was charging twice the amount for similar frames.

Great customer experience. I was able to change my appointment twice with no trouble at all. The doctor was very kind and her examinations was very thorough. She patiently answered all my questions and gave great advice on keeping my eyes healthy. Also, the people at front desk were very friendly and helpful with the checking in and checking out process. They were extremely patient while I pick out my frame, especially with how picky I was. Overall a great experience.

Dr. Lo had been my Optometrist for the past 10+ years, and she had been the Optometrist for other family members/​relatives for over 20+ years. She had been great! and very helpful.
My bf also had been seeing Dr. Lo for a few years now, and he also likes her a lot.
Dr. Lo offers a good selection of glasses frames, but also offers to order particular styles for us if we have something we like. She is open to and welcomes opinions and suggestions.
Bf especially like a staff there (Joli), she was very nice and very helpful, and unlike some other staffs, she was not pushy, which make us more likely to want to order glasses/​contact lens from there.

If I can rate I will rate zero or minus… don’t go there… Wasting your time. They are not on time at all, not just only me ., to all the customers. They always not on time, I just wanna give another shot, so I call in to made appointment., they said that they have an appointment for me 5:30 pm same day, so I said ok, I will take it. The appointment is 5:30 pm, i even go there early 15 minutes at 5:15 pm waiting., they let me know at 6:00 pm said that they wouldn’t be able to see me because it is too late and there is one person ahead of me, than why they made an appointment with me at the first place if they can’t do it? ?? … I will never go there again… Believe me don’t go there their services is not good at all and they don’t have an good planning system for their customers…

I will give –100 star if ican. The service there is extremely bad! The manager there provides you unacceptable service with poor attitude. I was there a couple times, and i saw once a customer left the store, the manager and other staffs would «discuss» that customer. No once, but almost every time i was there.

The star is for the doctor she was very nice and professional to bad I can’t say the same about her staff. Holly over charged me and when talking to my insurance company they stated everything was covered. She was very unprofessional and insisted on arguing and getting the last word. When I came to my first appointment she was getting fussed at in front of me by another coworker, her response was whatever. Some people just aren’t good at customer service… and I’m out of $ 75 because the fight just isn’t in me. Hopefully she learns her job or move on. Front office staff is very important… oh well I will be looking for another eye doctor.

I’ve been going here for the past couple years and they have always provided excellent service. I personally recommend Dr. Lo! I had trouble finding the right contacts, but she made it her mission to find the perfect fit for my eyes. She even made sure to see me two more times to see if they were working for me. She is so patient and knowledgable and puts effort into knowing her patients. The people at the front desk are also professional and nice.

The receptionists were great. They treat you well and answer any questions you have. I was a little skeptical about the doctor because he was a low level of uncertainty about some questions I had. Their mark up prizes on glasses are ridiculous plus they’re selection of frames is gravitated toward women.

I really like Dr. Jennifer Hsieh. She has been my regular eye doctor for the past three years except for the time she was out on maternity leave. The office is very busy but they are opened on weekends which is very helpful with the kids. They have this treatment where kids can restore their vision with wearing contacts to bed but we have never tried it. Really convenient location and hours and worth dealing with the hassles of such a busy office.

This is my first visit to EBVC — Fremont office and so far it’s been a great experience. The facility is a bit small; but have some good décor with various name brands of glasses and very friendly staff and doctors. I would recommend EBVC to friends & family members.

I’ve been to this optometrists office for about 7 years now because it is close to my house and they speak my parents native language.
Overall making an appointment there is okay
I had to cancel my initial appointment and I didn’t like the fact that their system would email me a reminder of my already cancelled appointment. That was confusing.
I really like Rebecca, one of the staff there. She is very knowledgeable and I like her opinion on the frames she picked out for me.
I love Dr. Jennifer Hsieh she is incredibly nice, sweet, efficient and thorough. So far she is the best optometrist I’ve ever had!
Today I saw Dr. Man-​Wa Lam. My dad really likes him. I haven’t really formed an opinion about him yet.
