We had a wonderful experience with Fix-​It Handyman Service. Tim did a great job at our house. The price was very reasonable. He is very professional, efficient and have performed quality work. Found Tim via Unilocal reviews and called him. We agreed on a time to check the problems I needed fixed. Tim came at the agreed time and reviewed the situation. I knew parts were needed. Tim got the parts and we scheduled the repairs. Tim worked hard to resolve the initial problem. It was pretty complicated but he got it figured out and repaired. The next one required crawling under the house. The last one was a ceiling fixture that wasn’t working. The previous owner didn’t wire it properly. Tim traced the circuit and re-​wired the fixture to make it work. Tim is very easy to work with and a real nice guy. I will definitely call him again to do additional repairs.

Tim does a great job. His prices are very reasonable. He is busy/​booked so we had to wait a long time, but that was not an issue for the tasks we needed done (install ceiling lights, towel rods etc). He is patient, meticulous, offers great advice, does not cut any corners, a pleasure to talk to, I would trust him to work in the house unsupervised. He gave us great «reports» on the condition of the attic etc as well. We are completely satisfied with the work he’s done. He offered advice and options for materials etc and we felt like we made informed decisions on all the jobs, thanks to him.
I will be calling him again, probably every 6 months as tasks accumulate. no hesitations with recommending him to others.

Tim is a great handyman and such a friendly guy! A 5-​star review is more than well deserved for the work he did to repair our fence. His quotation was not only reasonable, but his workmanship is superb. Tim took the time to figure out what was going on with our fence and make repairs that will help extend the life of the fence. He truly has his customer’s best interest at heart. We are so glad to have come across his reviews in Unilocal and hire him for this arduous task. I really like being able to support local businesses and happy he is a fellow Fremont resident.

I wish that there was a place to put in 6 or even 7 stars, because Tim is definitely above a 5 Star review!!! Tim is fantastic! As a real estate broker, I need to work with service people who are going to go far above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that myself and my client are completely satisfied. Tim definitely worked to meet our stringent needs, requirements and timelines. If I were to discuss all of the many many aspects that make Tim such a special person to work with, this review would be more of a Thesis than a review… On a final note, if you are looking to work with a Handyman who will go to the moon and back in order to make sure that your project meets your timelines and your budget, please do yourself a favor and call Tim!

Reliable, trustworthy & skilled.
I believe those three words describe Tim to a «T». We recently had an issue with our kitchen sink plumbing where a bunch of foul water leaked from a faulty seal. We gave Tim a call and he showed up as scheduled (he also pointed out that our doorbell wasn’t working Lol) quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in about an hour. In addition to fixing the problem, he also informed us of some mold and mildew that had started to form because of the moisture and showed us some areas of the drywall that could be repaired. Without trying to up-​charge us on a fix, he instead told us how to fix the problem quickly and easily ourselves.
Since his work a couple of weeks ago, we have had no issues at all with our sink. In fact, I gave him a call the other day to have him cap off an unused gas line and he let me know that it was something very simple to do ourselves and actually provided step-​by-​step instructions on how to get it done (rather than charging us for a house-​call). Thanks, Tim!

I found Tim on Unilocal.The only review there said he was good and was BBB accredited, which I confirmed. So I decided to try him out and am glad I did. I started with a small project with a yard gate that needed to be fixed. Tim came over to check it and gave me a reasonable quote. And then when he actually worked on it, I was thoroughly impressed by how much attention to detail he provided and the pride he clearly took in his handiwork. He ended up working a bit more on it than we expected, but not because we asked him to or because he was slow. It was only because he really wanted to do the job near to perfection. I really appreciated that spirit he showed.
I called him a second time within weeks to change all my closet doors to mirror doors. Once again I saw his persistent attempt to make it as perfect as possible. He is now going to be my goto person for all things around the house that I don’t have the time/​patience/​tools/​skills to take care of.
Overall I found Tim to be humble, honest and extremely hard working. So I am happy to recommend him to all my friends and give him a whooping 5 stars on Unilocal

I found Tim, the owner of Fix-​It Handyman Service from a search on the BBB website. Since he is BBB accredited and has a great rating there with no complaints reported I decided to give him a try. I asked Tim for an estimate to repair and paint my aging fence. Tim responded quickly and his estimate was very competitive. I accepted his offer and now my fence looks as good as new. What I appreciate most is Tim’s prompt communication, his quality work and excellent pricing. But in addition, Tim is a friendly guy. I will certainly be inviting Tim back to do more repairs in the future.
