Get yourself to this place! Trust me! From the flights to the food to the dessert, you will fly towards heaven! Flavor and the experience will make your life better! Just do it! I suggest the interesting Reds, Tempranillo, Pinotage, Valipolicilla, and the local from Lodi, Petite Petit, Order the Crostini and panini brillant, and don’t forget to procure the pudding divine! Affordable and delightful, get some friends together and visit this little place in Fremont, you will not regret it! Service is friendly, and I now adore Ube ice cream! It is purple, how could you wrong here? You can’t! Enjoy! I am so looking forward to my return! So thankful there was traffic on 680 and I found this little gem! Have a great time, visit often for me!

We stumbled here while waiting for a friend to have dinner at Spices, my friend had never been to a wine bar, so it was perfect to kill some time. We walked in and everything looked so rustic, with tree stumps as wooden tables. We were unsure what to order since we just wanted to kill time and the waiter suggested we share a pinot wine flight. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and I will definitely bring my husband next time since he LOVES wine. :)

Cozy wine bar with comfy seats, tasty treats and nice variety of wines. Nice place for a chat if you dont mind the live music. Beware lots of smokers as you enter and exit that congregate near Mission Pizza and nearby.

This was a wonderful spot for our group of mom’s to have a nice evening out without the husband and kids. It’s a small space but we were able to secure a large table in the back corner. There are smaller tables in the front and cozy chairs on the side for more casual or intimate conversations.
Check in and receive a free plate of crostini which was delicious. I ordered the vegetable crostini that had fresh tomatoes, basil, and avocado. The cab recommended by our server was delicious. Other plates that our table ordered was the cheese plate and turkey panini.
There was live music which was a nice bonus to our evening.
Check it out for a nice relaxing evening in the Fremont hills.

When we first arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the place was pretty dead. The server was nice, we ordered 2 flights of wine. For $ 25 a flight seemed overpriced but you do get decent pours and the 8 types of wine I tried were all pretty good. We checked in on Unilocal for a free crostini, it was pretty good. Overall, good experience.

This place has some classy ambiance and a fine selection of wines and beers, but having come here about 3 times already, I have two big complaints:
1) THE SERVICE IS SO DAMN SLOW! I don’t even think they’re short-​staffed because there were two servers when I came here last night and only about 3 – 4 tables aside from mine, though one group was particularly large. The servers just tend to disappear without checking up on their other tables. We waited forever to get menus, and then to order a bottle of wine, and then to get the check. We even had to go up to the counter to hand the check over to the server because she was just sitting at the front checking her phone for the longest time without glancing up. The time before last, my friend and I were ordering a lot of food/​beer but almost every single time we wanted a new item, I had to walk over to the counter to ask because no one ever came around or noticed we were trying to flag them down. The waiters will literally hand one group drinks and quickly walk back inside without a single glance at other tables.
2) The prices are pretty high. Bottles run upwards of $ 40 up to $ 100ish and flights are $ 20-​something. Food is expensive as well. I know Fremont is up and coming, as my friend Christine S. likes to say, but the prices are just not worth it.
I really like the ambiance of this place and the fact that a wine bar even exists in Fremont, but PLEASE hire better servers.

This place is pretty cool! The service is great. Super friendly. The wine flights are awesome! I got the interesting reds and they all tasted good. Normally I like Cabernet but I figured something different. All the Reds were good and up to par in my books.
Upon a check in you do receive a free appetizer so don’t forget!
They have one unisex bathroom which was actually really clean.
The crowd here is older but it’s ok! Do your own thang! I will honestly be back. Def a must try.

This is a cute little place to hangout with friends. I came here after work with my coworkers, and we ordered a bunch of tapas. The food is pretty good, and there’s a pretty long wine list. I’m not a big drinker, but this place is definitely worth a try. I love the atmosphere, and it was overall a really good experience :)

Slow service — had to wait a while for just a menu and then way too long to even get my drinks and food.
The wines were mediocre for its price.
If you check in on Unilocal,you get free crostinis. Those went pretty nicely with the wine, but I think I was biased by the free factor.
However, this place does have a nice ambiance. The room is dimly lit and two people are playing the cello for that romantic vibe. It’s quite small inside — similar to a lot of other wine bars for those intimate moments ;)

My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice place to lounge and sip on wine for the evening. Came here on short notice one Friday night. They close at midnight and we just made it in the last hour.
Nice spot in Fremont. Dimly lit with candle light. Dark leather Brown-​ish seating with wooden tabletop. They had a small band with a stand-​up cello but just finished packing up for the end of the night. Not too crowded at this time.
Their menu offers small bites and crostini’s and pannini’s. They also have a good selection of desserts and antipasti, small sides, cheese, etc.
Of course I went for my go-​to drink and they DID have moscato on their shelf which we ordered 2 glasses of. We redeemed the offer for a free crostini via with Unilocal Check-​in. We ordered the coppa and prosciutto crostini which was a clean, small and neat bite. And for dessert we ordered a strawberry cheesecake. The downside was that it was obviously a bought cheesecake which you might find from your local grocery store in the frozen cake section which wasn’t so great. The upside, nice relaxing and quiet ambiance to have a small bite to eat and drink.

First time here was with a group of 6 on a recent weekday. The atmosphere in general was very charming and comfortable. It would get a bit chilly at times, but that was probably because we were sitting near the front entrance. The wine selection was great, and so was the food. We were expecting to just get snacks, but ended up being so full that having to go to another place for dinner ended up being unnecessary.
We shared the meat/​cheese plate, olives, paninis (basil ham and grilled cheese), sandwichs (grilled chicken and BLTA), and crostinis (veggie and prosciutto). All the food was good, although the grilled chicken sandwich stood out — the chicken was very juicy, and the combination with the Dutch crunch roll was very delicious. We tried several flights of red wine, white wine, and also champagne, and liked them all. Only complaint we had was the service. It seemed as though there was only when server in the front that day, and she was just not very friendly. We felt as though we were bothering her every time we ordered another flight or food item. Maybe we just came on an off day. Very open to coming back, and trying this place again.

Yes, I enjoyed my experience here. Great selection of wine. Wonderful dishes. Try the flights, they give four samples of wine other than the usual three. The appeitzers were wonderful. Good mix of meats and cheese. They also have wine tastings once or twice a month. The atmosphere is great. I’m coming back soon.

FINALLY, Fremont has a nice wine bar. Good selection of wines, reasonably priced. Loved the oversized tables and comfy chairs. Our group tried snacks too — cheese plate w/​nuts & olives, a really nice selection of cheese, spring rolls and crostini. Everything was fresh, nicely prepared and presented. Staff was super friendly and attentive. You can tell that attention to detail matters here. This place is totally worth your time and money.
We will definitely be back!

What a little gem I’ve stumbled upon!
Walking in on a friday night, we were delighted to find two jazz musicians plucking away on their bass. We sat down on the tables in the back and were given menus right away. They have quite the selection of wines and flights… decisions decisions! We decided to share a bottle of Merlot (I forgot the name), which was about $ 35. They poured the bottle into an interesting looking aerator, which was fun to watch.
All in all, I had a great time kicking back and sipping on that Merlot. It was a great selection for the price! Btw, you get a free Crostini when you check in! I would love to come back here to try their little dishes and other wine selections!

An actual wine bar in Fremont? Who would’ve thunk.
While it is located in an otherwise «meh» strip mall… Upon entering FLIGHT and enjoying the décor, service, and wine/​food, you can seem to forget that you are in an otherwise «meh» strip mall.
My wife and I have frequented FLIGHT a few times now, and have had pleasant experiences each time. As someone who has enjoyed a glass of wine or two in numerous locales in San Francisco while we lived there, I am happy to report that my wife has given her stamp of approval to this nice little gem so close to our home here in the ‘burbs.

Known to Unilocal as one of the Best top 10 Wine Bars in Fremont this is TRULY a hidden gem!
I had never been to that side of Fremont before but this location is right in the plaza and located next to tons of great shops within the area.
This place used to be a Boba spot but management has recently changed the boba spot to a Wine and Bar lounge. It’s brand new, with very welcoming atmosphere and great wine list.
I love Wine Tasting but I especially love wine tasting when it’s close to my home and I don’t have to go all the way to Napa which is an hour or more in order to have some good wine.
When walking in I noticed this was a Wine and Bar! Noiceee! The atmosphere inside was nice and relaxing with comfy seating arrangements as you walk in and a bar in the back.
I love that they also serve food here as well to pair with the wines! Everything was delicious and mixed very well with the wines! I loved that they also had a TV in the bar area so your able to catch up on the latest shows while you relax and drink wine.
They offered red or white wines but since I’m more of a, «white wine» type of chick I stuck with what I knew. All the wines were very good!
I was able to meet the owner: Johnny and Bayman who are very sweet and totally open for new suggestions on ways to make their restaurant even better than it already is! Emily the server is a sweetheart and every time I come she makes sure that I am well taken care of!
I truly enjoy coming here! Definitely a nice place to come for a date night, getting some friends together or just to drink some good ol’ wine!

I came here for my first Unilocal Elite event and it was so much fun!
The bar is located right off of 680 freeway at this small, old but nice little plaza with limited parking in the front, however, there is a back parking lot if you go around the plaza.
The bar itself is small but not too small, good amount of tables if you want to dine and of course the bar. It is a little old which you can tell from the ceilings and floor but they decorated nicely.
I am sorry to say I totally forgot the names of the wine we got to try but they were all very delicious. They have a good amount of reds and whites collection and they all go very well with the meat, cheese, and bread they served. We were also given sandwiches to try and it was very tasty. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try any of their desserts but the pictures look amazing.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax, watch some sports, and drink some wine! Plus, they are very friendly. Also, they do have specials, like ladies night and other promotions so look for those!

Updating my review since the last review I have on here was for when they were still a boba/​dessert shop.
I visited FLIGHT for a Unilocal event a few weeks ago, and during that event, some friends and I decided to re-​visit during their Ladies’ Night special, which gives 40% off wines. (They were also gracious enough to give us some $ 5 off coupons for our next visit during that event!)
I arrived after work a bit late to the party. The place was packed! By the time I got there, the three girls had ordered a few plates of crostinis and a bottle of wine. By the end of the night, we got two bottles at $ 35/​bottle, two plates of crostinis at $ 5/​order, and a meat and cheese combo plate at $ 18.
The staff, Emily and Bayman, were very friendly and accommodating! Emily allowed us to taste a few of the wines before actually committing to a bottle, which made ordering from the massive wine list a bit less daunting! She also gave some recommendations when we asked — even better! The wines themselves were all nice and smooth, although both bottles we tried were red, so we didn’t get to tap into any of the whites or dessert wines.
The crostinis and the meat and cheese plate were awesome! I especially love the cheeses on the meat and cheese plate. They pair well with wine and are super savory on bread.
The experience and staff here are all fabulous. The issue I have with FLIGHT is the pricing. If it weren’t for all of our coupons and the Ladies’ Night promotion (hello, Asian-​ness), our total would have been over $ 25/​person for some wine and snacks. (Also, a wine flight at regular price is about $ 25.) For the wine connoisseur, it may be worth the price to check out some of the wines that FLIGHT carries, but for the average drinker wanting a place to hang out with friends, it’s not ideal.

The first time I came to FLIGHT was for a Unilocal Elite Event, which was a lot of fun! (Who doesn’t have fun when they wine and dine you… all for free?) Because they gave us $ 5 coupons, some of the girls decided to come back on Ladies’ Night aka 40% off wines.
Lincy H., Sophia L., Yvonne K., and I ended up order two bottles of wine ($ 35/​bottle), 2 orders of crostinis ($ 5/​order), and a mixed meat and cheese plate ($ 18). Meat or cheese plates are $ 15, so just go with the mixed plate! They were pretty generous with the meat and cheeses.
They let us try a few wines before we settled on the ones we wanted to order. Emily was very knowledgeable about the wines we asked her about, and she gave us some of her recommendations which was nice!
If you want to do a flight, they’re $ 25+. A little too pricey for my taste, even though I’m not a poor college student anymore! (I’d definitely pick getting a beer flight at California Craft Beer for $ 7.50 any day…)
We got an order of crostini for free because of the Unilocal check in and another order for free because we had a crostini coupon. And then we had ~6 of those $ 5 coupons from the Unilocal event. In the end, we ended up paying $ 12 each which was nice! But if we weren’t super AZN, it would’ve came out to be around $ 26!
FLIGHT is definitely a nice place to drink wine at if you’re feeling bougie or if you’re a big wine lover. Since I’m not either or, I probably wouldn’t frequent this place. I do like that it’s an option though!
PS. There is no air circulation here. Even on a cold day, I was wearing a t-​shirt and still uncomfortably warm.

I just discovered this gem on Friday night. I was looking up bars/​lounges nearby and stumbled across this place. I’ve been to this plaza before for Mission Pizza, and thought that a wine bar in this location will probably be dead and quiet. I was wrong.
We arrived around 10 o’clock and it was full house. There was a live jazz band on Friday night. I believe they said, there is a jazz band there on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The crowd was a nice mixture.
I ordered the Pinot Noir flight which came with 4 different tastings. I also ordered the combo plate to go with my wine. Oh, and if you check in you also get an order of crostini. The crostini was good. I like how the bread for the crostini was nicely toasted. The combo plate came with meat, cheese, nuts, olives, and bread. Between the 2 of us, we couldn’t finish it (maybe if we didn’t eat dinner already). The 4 selections for the Pinot Noir were all very decent.
The service here was great. They were very attentive and friendly.
I guess I found a new hangout spot for a chilled night.

Started with the Old Soul Cab and finished with the Red Zin, of course there was few in between, I mean it is a wine bar.
The nuts were crunchy, the crostini’s were basily and the service was superb. This place is definitely on my list of will visit again, because it was just that fun. It had everything to do with the new friends I met and laidback vibe of the atmosphere.
Wait, wait, wait. I almost forgot to mention the crunchy onion rings with sweet yet spicy dipping sauce. oh yeah (Mr. Kool-​Aid voice) they have some yummy eats.
It’s located right off the freeway and they have ample parking.

I asked the wine pourer to recommend me a sweet wine and he introduced me Pedroncelli Dry Rose of Zinfandel and it was delicious!
Afterwards I wanted to try a cabernet and he recommended me Old Soul Cabernet Sauvignon. It was really good.
They have lots of yummy appetizers that complemented the wines really well.
The place is really mellow and relaxing and it’s perfect for friends to hang out and catch up.
They are located in a private lot and that means FREE PARKING!
Everyone who works here are all very nice!

Ladies Night Out is 40% off and starts at 7 on Wednesdays. There are several flights options. Each come with four half glasses or you have the option of creating your own flight with three or four wines of your choosing for a few dollars more. They have a vast selection of wines by the glass, flight, and bottle as well as a lengthy list of beers. They offer several small plates and sandwiches, as well as desserts.
There is a bar as, well as tables and couches.
The service was superb.
The pricing is reasonable.
This place is adorbs. I can’t wait to go back!

Stumbled across this place on Unilocal and decided to try it out with my girlfriends. We had originally planned to go to B street and vine in San Mateo but were too lazy to drive. Fortunately this place had some wine and cheese too! The outside looks kind of janky as its right next to a liquor store, but as soon as you walk in it’s pretty nice! I like the dim lighting and the open space. I came with a group of 6, we each ordered a flight of wine as well as two combo plates (I think $ 15, not sure). The flights of wine came with four glasses each for about $ 27.– ladies night on Wednesdays get 40% off so I’ll be sure to visit again for a wino-​Wednesday night.
The combo plate came with olives, mixed nuts, some meat, bread, and cheeses. My only complaint is that they only give a small amount of bread. Maybe give crackers?
Also, I think nice music will be sure to set the mood! Jazz or something like that would be perfect.
This place is a cute place to try some wine and catch up with friends. Might be a littleee too pricey for me but maybe Wednesday’s will be perfect! Will be back to try the food.

I’m slowly getting into wine so I decided to stop by here last night by myself to catch up with some work and enjoy a few glass of wine. It was a perfect spot for me to do it. Atmosphere was relaxing, music wasn’t too loud, and place is quiet.
I had the flight which contained 3 of my choice of wine. I am looking forwards on coming back with some friends to try their cheese and meat platter combo and try other wines!

As a disclaimer, I did come here back when FLIGHT boasted of its old name, iDesert. I believe the business and owner is still the same, just with the addition of a wine bar during later hours now.
I’ve always thought that this little plaza off Washington deserved a nice hangout place, and I was pleased when I heard that one had finally opened. I stopped by after a meal at Spices close by, but I was rather disappointed by my visit.
The interior is dimly lit with the intention of creating an intimate ambiance, but I felt that the décor was a little too mismatched to fully carry out the execution. There were bits and pieces of decoration I enjoyed, such as these really cute swan fork-​holders (
), but the delicacy of such ornaments clashed with a slightly sportsy feel.
Service was fine, but what really disappointed me was the quality of the drink I ordered. I wanted something light, and because of the boasts of natural desserts and healthy ingredients, I was interested in trying the green tea with basil seeds (
). I had a bad feeling right off the bat when the young man at the front informed me that the sweetness level could not be adjusted because the green tea had sugar premixed in. The minute I took a sip, I knew that the tea wasn’t freshly brewed. It tasted identical to the store-​bought, bottle green tea that’s sold at Asian supermarkets such as Ranch 99.
I did appreciate the fact that basil seeds were offered as one of the toppings, but these basil seeds (
) were not well cleaned and strained. There were gritty particles at the bottom of my drink, which I assume came from basil seed husks or were sand particles. I was not pleased with these hard tidbits that accompanied the crunchy basil seeds.
With the abundance of teashops in Fremont that offer variable 0%, 30%, 50%, 80%, and 100% sugar now, it’s a little late in the game for a tea shop to not even brew their own tea. I don’t believe I’ll be back for the tea, but perhaps I’ll give this place another shot for the wine or dessert.
