Just Add Water Mobile Detailing

No show. Contacted them via their website asking for service sometime over the next 3 days. No response. Finally received an email that said they were on vacation. Scheduled service for another day at 10AM. It is now 1230. Called them left voicemail no response. Sent email no response. Now I do not have the time to get this done anywhere else before my deadline. THANKS FOR NOTHING!

I’d give it zero if I could. We booked them to clean our rv which is supposed to be one of their services. We were told that we had to pay the $ 170 fee upfront to book them to come to our house to clean the rv. We were told they would be here at 8 a.m. on Friday. When they didn’t show I called the cell phone number for Jordan that I’d been given. He said that his truck had broken down on the freeway and that it was being towed back to their shop. He assured me it would be fixed by that afternoon and they could still come out that day. No show. I called again and he said the repairs wouldn’t be finished until Saturday morning but they’d be out first thing Saturday morning. No show. I called and left voicemails throughout the day. No show and none of my phone calls was returned. Oh but they’d charged the credit card, of course. It’s now two days later and I still haven’t heard a peep from these turkeys.

I don’t want to suspect the previous reviews are the owner’s own marketing, but I really hope I could give zero star if I could to this car detailing place. I have been a reader of Unilocal but feel the need to provide my experience of this place to warn future customers.
I was looking for a car detailing place to clean my car which I like to get it sold. Searching on Unilocal as usual, I find this 5 star auto detailing and like its convenience to come to my place. I emailed and called and the response was good. We set up appointment for the next day between 12:30 to 1PM.
The next day, the owner Gordon called around 12:40 and said his guy is running late but should be there in 30 minutes. I was anxious because I have a buyer coming to test drive at 3:30 and I was told it’d take 2 to 2.5 hours for a express detail plus clay bar. I waited without having lunch since I don’t want to having to run out in the middle of my lunch. I waited until 1:30 and called again and was told ‘oh, my guy didnt seem to have your phone number so wait and let me give him a call’ so I waited some more. finally someone arrived about 1 hour late of the appointment time.
The first thing he told me was that the city won’t allow him to wash the car on the street, but wait a minute, I had even asked the owner Gordon the first time called on the phone where he’d wash the car since I didn’t know how this mobile detailing works. I told him it’s a quiet street. He said it should be fine. How come now you told me you couldn’t? but then I need the car detailed by 3:30!
The guy called his boss Gordon and said I can follow him to their near by location and they can get 2 people on it and be done by 3:30pm. It seems to be an ok solution, though I am sill hungry and I thought I used a mobile detailing to get the convenience!
So here I arrived at this tiny place in a inner industry area full of trashed car fields by myself. Parked the car and was told to get back in an hour. I walked out to look for my lunch and luckily I found a Persian food place. Before I even finish my lunch in about 30 minutes, they called and said my car is done. I couldn’t believe it since there are only two people and how can car detailing takes only 1 hour 1 person’s time? I walked over and surprised to find my car looks same before it gets washed. Did you even do anything to it?
My front panel is still full of the small mosquitoes that were stuck there last week, the tree leaves are still on the edge of the truck, the oil stains that can be easily removed by fingers are still ON the paint. And open the truck which was pretty clean even before the detailing — there are still tree leaves in there. But the owner told me he had vacuumed the truck and the leaves can’t be cleaned simply by vacuuming (hellooooo! How come I can clean this better by myself)?
Overall I could have just taken this car to the $ 10.99 Lozano Brushless Car wash and get better result than the $ 100 detailing. I ended up using a mop to get rid of the mosquitoes and stains by myself before the buyer comes. I didn’t even need any cleaner or clay bar to get rid of those.
Even though the owner ended up reducing the price to $ 20 instead of $ 100, the value is definitely less than the $ 10.99 car wash, let along the time washed (like 3 hours) and my own labor to get the car to a reasonable condition.
Be aware if you ever consider to use their service.

GOOD SH*T! I’m planning on selling my car, so I figured I should try to get the inside shampooed and everything since the interior is supposed to be a light tan and it was lookin more like … chocolate brown. So I turned to Unilocal … and they didnt let me down!
I called yesterday and they scheduled an appointment today @ 2:30 pm. He explained I would have to allow them a 30 minuet window so no later than 3 pm. Cool. I can do that.
3 pm came by and I walked out to give my landlord something and Car Manicure pulls up … perfect timing boys! I grabbed my keys, unlocked the car and they got to work. I checked out their work and paid & tipped them with the little bit of extra cash that I had … and they were on their merry little way. It is 3:40 pm right now as I’m typing.
I got the Platinum Interior Detail w/​the rainy day special ($ 10 off) so it ran me $ 110. My car looks really good. now I just have to sell it fast before my 2 little rugrats decide to make a mess.
I’m always a fan of good, fast, no hassle service. Car Manicure gets an A+!!

Wow, these guys are amazing. I called just before noon today — they came out to my house at 1:30, and by 4:00 my ten year old minivan looked like a new car. This poor vehicle has survived my years of toting my three sons, and even worse, two years of being driven by a 17-​to-​18 year old teenage male. It was filthy inside.
Jordan and his partner polished it to a mirror shine on the outside, and steam cleaned the grunge out of the mats and carpets inside — who knew they were actually gray underneath all the mud?!
I got the detailing because we are planning to replace the van, but it looks so nice now, I may actually keep it!

I had an accident in my friends car (too much wine tasting :-|). I called these guys up to finish cleaning the interior of her car. They were able to come that day which was awesome. Extremely nice and easy to deal with. My friend loved them. She said she would use them again and would recommend them to anyone. I plan on doing the same. I’ll be calling them to come out and clean my car this week!

I recently bought a used car and needed a good detailing so I contacted Jordan, and the results were shameful to say the least. The interior was just as dirty as when they started. Here’s a little breakdown:
Seats — I wiped them down with a clean white rag afterwards and it was black as tar. Also looked liked they didn’t bother to recline the seats to get in the tight spots because it looked horrible. I ran a paper towel through all the creases, and what do you know, dirty as hell.
Carpet — They only cleaned where they assumed I could see. Underneath the seats, on the sides of the front center console, and trunk were all missed.
Headliner — They said the headliner would be difficult to clean, but afterwards I ran a lint roller on it and it looked good as new.
Doors — Like the seats, I ran a white rag on it and it was black. The pockets were missed and needed to be vacuumed.
Dash — All the vents were missed and the woodgrain was dull. Cleaned them myself and the results were night and day.
Anyways, you get the point. I know what some of you might be thinking, «why didn’t you point all these out when they finished?» Well, that was my fault, but c’mon now, a detailer should know what the hell he/​she is doing and to have pride in what they do. On the other hand, what the hell was I expecting for less than an hours worth of cleaning?! It takes me an hour just to clean the wheels!

Jordan, has been detailing cars for me for years. He is mobile which makes it very convenient for me because instead of me having to go drop off a customer’s car with him he comes to my shop and does the detailing here. He is reliable, reasonably priced and the cars always come out spotless.
Very much recommended!!!
