It started off ok and then went big time South after that. Initially 5 years ago we had 3 boxes moved to San Carlos to Fremont. The guy was 3 hours late on a Saturday and had a hard time loading our stuff on a fork lift. The containers are plywood that is not sturdy. The billing process was a debacle to say the least. Headquarters in NY and Dimitri was cool for the most part. Actual location in Fremont is a joke. You have to give these clowns notice to get access to YOUR stuff and in 5 years we went twice to get things and they act like you are bothering them. So many choices to put your stuff with no billing BS, scheduling visits to see your stuff met with bad attitudes etc. Raised our price after all this crap. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY– Fair warning

I didnt’ have the best experience with Moishe’s. First thing was setting up the pods to be dropped in front of our apt in SF in the evening and they were to pick-up in the AM. No problem on the phone, but when the driver showed up, they had a different tune. Just load up your stuff b/c we can’t leave these here over night. They were rude to my girlfriend (it was her move) I had to talk to two or three «managers» and convince them it’s okay to leave their pods on the street in a legal parking space.
We quickly realized we needed an additional storage pod, again no problem to drop it off the next day and return later that same day. The driver showed up early and told us he couldnt’ return later, we had to load up asap.
they’re great on the phone, but i felt it ended there. I’d not recommend them or use them again.
UPDATE: I had them drop the pods off at a different storage facility a few months after using their mobile pods in SF. They bascially dumped my girlfriend’s stuff onto the asphalt, broke a bunch of things and left her stunned.
Again, dont use them unless you have to.

Easy and Fast. Dimitri was always available on the phone. Pick up and delivery guy was skilled at getting the storage boxes where they needed to go. I would use them again.

These guys are incredible! They were a pleasure to work with. I contacted several of their well-known competitors and found Moishe’s to be the most responsive, professional and affordable option for my businesses’ storage needs — their quote was about half of what other mobile storage companies were asking. I really can’t say enough about them and will definitely be working with them moving forward for mobile, on-site and off-site storage. They’re punctual and were willing to work with a very tight schedule. They’re communication was great also. Definitely exceeded expectaions!

I found this company via Berkeley Parent Network. But it was a horrible experience. The guys did all the known mover tricks to cheat. They gave an initial estimate of $ 1000-$ 1500 for my 2600 sqft house to move 10 miles. On the moving day, they charged $ 2950. I later learned that legally the most they can charge is $ 3000. We did all the boxing and opening. They only moved. They used lots of $ 40 huge closet boxes to put big unimportant stuff such as the tall broomstick, or lots of $ 10 large boxes to put leftover junk each wrapped with 100 papers so that they can use more boxes. I don’t think an honest mover ever exists but these guys are the extreme.
