The rear fender bender I got wasn’t that big deal but just the same I reported the accident to my insurance and to the insurance of the offending party. The good thing the other driver of the car that hit me acknowledge the fault and immediately I was contacted by her insurance. I believed all these made my issues settled swiftly. I find her insurance (The Hartford Western) very professional and prompt that after two phone calls to me, I was scheduled to see the preferred collision shop asap. I gave Hartford Vehicle insurance company a 5 star review rating if i may.
The second part of this review was the Pan American Collision Center at Fremont which was the one recommended to me by the insurance company inasmuch as it’s the closest to where I am located. The lady at the front reception walked me on the series of processes that needs to be done beforehand. That I have to have a scheduled appointment needed for the Hartford adjuster representative, for this shop, Mr. Shannon French to secure all info necessary and see the vehicle concerned. He was very helpful and since I’m not well versed to the ins and outs of incidents like this, he was candidly very helpful and straightforward which I like. I was able to have my vehicle inspected and estimated all in a week’s time. The next stage involved bringing my vehicle to the said shop for repair work and was told the expected job to be finished in three days time due to a rather longer weekend which I really don’t mind. Afterwards, he gave me a call personally on that day promised and was greatly satisfied with the excellent work done, the free wash and vacuuming inside my vehicle that I could not ask for more. Overall I gave this collision vehicle shop an excellent rating and special thanks to Shannon.

I know absolutely nothing about cars, so you can understand my intimidation when I had to go take my car to be looked at after being rear-​ended.
To my surprise the experience was the easiest thing ever. Thanks to Shannon, he really guided me through the process and offered amazing customer service. He’s very knowledgable about cars but loves to educate.
It’s amazing to know that if I ever have any car issues, I can go back here and know I’ll receive amazing service.

With the luck I have all bad if I’m ever in need of work done on my car in the future it will be Pan American Collision Center I take my car to.
This last time I called on them they were able to do the job under their original estimate which I was paying for out of pocket. I’m not saying that this will happen every time but it goes to show how honest these people are.
I hope I never have to use your services again but if I do I won’t think twice as to where to go.

My boyfriend got in an accident. As luck would have it… just got the front end fixed from another front end accident by another company who did a TERRIBLE job! So when it came time to get it fixed again… we came to Pan American. Shannon was excellent! The front end looks like a new car! Everything from the body work to the replacement parts to the paint job was perfect! Everything lined up like new! And… it was done ahead of schedule. Pan American is Farmers certified and that made everything even that much easier. Excellent service… Excellent work… beautiful car!

Thank you Danielle for the awesome customer service! She returned my calls and kept me up to date on my car. Awesome job on my car. It was there for probably a month and half. I was hoping to get it back sooner but I know they have other customers and also parts are ordered from all over the world. Which is understandable.

Needed to recover some parts from my car before it was totaled. Service employees were helpful and accommodating. They took time out of their schedule, let me borrow a tool, even finished the job for me. Highly recommend these good people!

After getting rear ended at a stop light by an asian lady (insert female driver jokes, asian driver jokes, or combination of both), I was recommended by my farmers insurance adjuster to come to this location. I was told that they work well with euro vehicles and so I opted to give them a shot.
When I arrived, I was greeted by Danielle who seemed to be very knowledgeable about the entire process. She spent 30 to 40 minutes talking to me about the estimate, what the plan of action was, and that she would be updating me if there were any changes to the plan. While she was working on the estimate, she called up enterprise to come pick me up so that I would not have to wait around. I was very pleased with the customer service that I received and I left the shop feeling confident that my car was in good hands.
Two days after I dropped off my car, Danielle called to let me know that they would have to order a new front bumper, which would increase the cost of repairs. That was perfectly fine by me because the tab would be picked up by the other individual’s insurance company. After getting my verbal consent, they continued on with the repairs.
On the next business day, I received a call from Danielle stating that they were putting the finishing touches on the car. I was very surprised that they were able to fix my car within 3 business days because it usually takes 1 to 2 days for the delivery of parts. When I came by to pick up the car, I was very pleased with the quality of repair. In addition to my keys, they gave me an envelope containing documents that indicated that I had lifetime warranty on the paint/​workmanship, which is always a definite plus.
I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this shop. I received awesome customer service and the turn around time was extremely quick. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anybody looking for auto body repairs.

My car was rear ended and I was asked by my insurance company to see Pan American. I was 5 mins late but the guy was waiting for me and greeted me with my name. He quickly came out saw the car and I was in and out in about 30 – 40 mins. Next day they opened the car and found some serious damage. The estimate went up (I would have taken 2 stars away, if my insurance was paying for it) and they started to work on it immediately. I got my car 2 days before the estimate date. Preeti was very prompt in keeping me uptodate, following up and handing over the car. Great service. It restored my faith in good service.

Great service thanks to Preeti who assisted me from start to finish to fix a damage to my car caused by somebody else. You do need an appointment so call ahead. It took two weeks for my car to be returned but Preeti made every effort to update and contact me during the process. There was a little delay on the ordering of parts but I was informed so I didn’t feel like nothing was happening. The job was excellent and no complaints so far.

Can’t say enough about the service from Panam. This review is long due having worked with Panam second time around. My current car insurance made me jump through hoops to get to a car repair service of my choice. Shannon ensured that all issues with insurance, car repair, schedule are taken care of with minimal effort/​confusion for me. Even with the insurance company handling this case in worst possible way.
Kudos to the team for taking good care of your customers!

One of our vehicles were involved in a rear-​end accident and called my insurance company to file the loss and collision. I spoke to the claim representative and when all the detailed information was provided to them. The representative suggested that I visit one of their preferred body shops. Pan American Collision was one of them. Before, visiting the office, I had to Unilocal and see the reviews. I was satisfied with the reviews and went their on 10/​28/​2014 around 11:00am. I walked in and there was no one at the front desk, but, there was someone in one of the offices. I sat down and waited for someone to be at the reception area. The staff that was sitting in the office did not greet me at all.
After four to five minutes, the lady walks to the front desk and did not greet me at all and ask if I was help or needed help. So I had to walk up and asked if there was someone available to provide a collision estimate. There was a form on the table so I grabbed one myself and filled it out. After completing the customer and insurance information, the lady took it and took it in the back office. The lady that was sitting in one of the offices walked back towards the reception area an finally asked me if I have been helped. So, I replied, yes I think the woman that works here in the front may be looking for claim representative.
She came back and informed me that the person who works with the insurance (will not provide my company I have) I have is out sick. I then replied, my insurance information was already on the application filled out. You should have immediately told me that Pan America Collision assigns certain people with the appropriate insurance company. The other reason because that individual only knows how to «upload the collision estimate» to the insurance company I have.
The woman told me to come back tomorrow so he may be back to work around 10:00am. I then advise her that I visited the company’s website as well and did not see that I needed to make an appointment for car estimates and only certain representative are an expert with only one insurance.
I requested that I wanted to take my application with me and in the beginning the woman did not want me to take it. I told her that I did not want to leave my personal information with them. She said our logo is on there and told her to remove the upper portion and give me back the rest. The woman did so and told her that I will let you guys know if I will return.
A bad experience and «first impression» in this example really shows excellent customer service.
You can see that prior to my review, the last 5 stars was on 05/​29/​2014, which shows that for the past four months, no other great review until now. Wow… is all I can say.

Totally don’t understand why they have such high reviews. I honestly, honestly, honestly want to give them 0 stars, but unfortunately I can’t, so I will just tell you want happened.
After my car got rear ended by my neighbor on my driveway (yup, it happens), I was referred to Pan American by Farmers. I was told by Farmers that Pan American can do an estimate first then I can decide if I want to take a payout check or just have Pan American repair my car.
I made an appointment and showed up at the correct time. Tulvin was the guy who said he will help me. However, once I started telling him what happened to my car, he stopped me right away and said that he doesn’t work for Farmers so I should basically save my story because he doesn’t want to hear it. Fine, I then when on to tell him that I think there’s a alignment issue since the gap between my bumper is uneven. His exact response to that was «I don’t have x-​ray visions so I can not see it.» WTF, that is just rude.
But there is more. He then told me that I must tell him at that moment if I want to take a payout check or have them repair it, and that I can not change my mind. This is NOT what Farmers told me since they said I can always make a decision later. Tulvin then rushed the estimate that came out to be $ 900 something, and told me again that I must make a decision right way.
After the visit, I quickly called Farmers to talk to them about Pan American and Tulvin. Farmers then confirmed to me that I can always change my mind and go somewhere else as long as they haven’t process anything yet. So basically Tulvin and Pan American LIED to me about the fact that I must choose either the payout or have them fix it.
I quickly went to Cooks Collision, they took care of everything for me. Also, Cooks estimate came out to be $ 2700, compare to Tulvin’s $ 900. I guess he not only doesn’t have x-​ray vision, but he also doesn’t have normal vision.

Wow – I cannot say enough good about my experience with Pan American in Fremont. I just got my car back with repairs to various deep scratches, scuffs and a large dent to the right of one front headlight. My car looks AMAZING! You would never know it had a scuff or dent on it. The paint, which is an unusual metallic blue-​gray, is perfectly matched in color and gloss between the old and new panels. (If I have time later, I’ll post before and after photos.)
The service here was also fantastic. Priti was very helpful in scheduling my appointment, which was not easy since I was juggling several other activities/​appointments at one time. Chris, who gave me the estimate and manages the work there, was also a real gem, very kind and helpful. He answered all of my questions in detail about how the car would be repaired, the paint matched, etc. In the end, when I added some work not covered by my insurance company, he gave me a discount since Pan Am was already doing the other work on the car – and the Pan Am rates were already lower than the quote from a different body shop recommended by my Mercedes dealer.
I could not be happier with my experience here, both due to the people and my beautifully restored car. Many thanks to Pan American, I give them my highest recommendation!!!

After reading all these great reviews I decided to take my auto body work to this shop I arrived early before they opened and pleasantly waited tell I seen a manager at his computer so I ask when was a good time to have my vehicle appraised for my insurance company he then looked on his computer and said 11:00 am would be my time for this. We talk briefly and once he discovered my instance was Allstate he cancelled my appointment and said I do not know why your here and there was no appointment for me ! He seemed very rude at this point not very professional at all it’s a shame that this are of such diverse people and educational verity has such rudeness in this area of Customer service. I would avoid this place of business at all cost…

After an accident in my truck, I was referred to Pan American from a friend. My contact at Pan American was Chris. Nice guy, easy to deal with on the phone, and always kept me in the loop as to where we were in the process of repairing my truck. Now it did take some time to complete the job, due to a delay from Geico in authorizing parts. However I did not mind the delay so much since Chris kept me updated multiple times a week regarding the progress. I also opted to get an aftermarket bumper for my truck and despite Chris explaining to me that they normally do not use aftermarket parts, his team installed it anyways. When I got my truck back, I was amazed. The quality of work is outstanding. You would never know I was in an accident. If you need auto body work go see Pan American Collision.

Had my car repaired here. Very professional and customer service oriented. Very prompt with service (car was done two weeks early).

Needed to address a dent in my Chevrolet Equinox and was helped by Pan American. I had done some work in their San Jose location a few years back and this location was just as great. Top customer service and the quality of the fix and paint was top notch. They are fast and great to work with!

After getting rear ended by an idiot who can’t back up in the parking lot, I decided to confide in my fellow Unilocalers for a trust worthy body shop and found Pan American.
I was treated with prompt and great service by Dan. He patiently explained all the details, procedures, and evaluated the damage on my bumper.
I came back another day to drop off my car and was greeted by another nice gentleman that worked in the body shop (sorry forgot your name). He explained additional procedures and which parts would be fixed.
Dan was extremely helpful and frequently called me with updates on my car.
He was able to deliver quality in the time that he promised.

I went in today to have a few scratches taken out. Pan American quoted me $ 75 and an hour to repair scratches on my side mirror and two doors. 5 minutes of polishing later, my car was ready, in the condition I wanted, and they told me it was FREE. I should have asked about a few more scratches!
