With all 3 toilets backed up, we were in sudden need of a same-​day snakeout. I’m so glad that I found a Pete’s Pipes & Rooter Cleaning business card from service call several years back. Today we again got Pete’s knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced service with a clear explanation of all work done. This is one business card I plan on keeping!!! Thank you!!!

I called Pete today to fix my plumbing problem I was very surprised that even though he was extra busy he was still able to come to my house to take care of the problem today not only was he very knowledgeable but he also explained to me the problem in a way that I could understand I will be calling on Pete again if I ever have another problem and I will recommend him to all my friends God bless u Pete just want to say that u did a great job and I am very thankful for that and by the way the price was not too high I was banking on having to pay more but thankful I ended up paying less

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE & FAIR (PRICE) PLUMBER, THEN STOP CALLING AROUND AND JUST CALL PETE! This review is overdue. Pete is great! — He fixed my problem on the phone, when he could have come & charged me a couple of hundred box (like other plumbers wanted to do). I will not get into details since this had to do with my toilet! — He is super honest, very experienced and fair with his pricing — I have since recommended him to others who have had awesome experiences with him. I shall continue to recommend him to folks who needs plumbing /​rooter services. ps — He picks up the phone himself — i.e. You do not have to go thru some dispatcher who wants to either take a message or make an appointment for a fee — This is extremely helpful in general, and way more so if you have an emergency!

Relying on Unilocal reviews, I called Pete’s Pipes and Rooter Cleaning to take a look at a plumbing issue. Pete came on time and though the job was something he doesn’t do, Pete stayed for a good 30 minutes at least and thoroughly advised what is needed, making sure I understood the issue. In that amount of time, I could tell Pete is highly knowledgeable and an honest business man. I will definitely be calling Pete for future plumbing issues. Five Stars! Thanks for your advice Pete!

Called Pete mid-​morning to unclog the kitchen drain pipe, he was very accommodating and able to fit me same day in the afternoon. He explained how grease built up in the pipes. He got the job done quickly with very reasonable price. Forget about those expensive large Rooter companies… support the local small business, Pete is the man

Mother-​in-​law arrives for a visit … downstairs toilet overflows! Microwave sounds like a 747 taking off! Are you kidding me!
Check Unilocal for a plumber, 2 companies top the list. I pick Pete’s.
Communication was great! Very friendly, professional experience! Very reasonable as well! He snaked the bathroom toilet and offered advice for an occasional leak at the toilet.
He also resolved our dishwasher drain issue at the top of our sink.

Pete the plumber rocks! Started my morning with poop coming out of every drain in the house. Pete picked up the phone in my time of need and he was at the house by the afternoon, snaked the house, and we were back in working order! Thanks Pete!

I had 4 plumbing problems that I needed to get fixed. Pete fixed the 2 minor of the 4 problems. The ones remaining are a leaking shower and no hot water coming from that same shower. It took 2.5 hours and I was charged $ 250. Now I have to find another plumber to fix the remaining too problems.
Though he was professional, the end result is that I still have the problems not fixed.

he does get the job done, prompt, very knowledgeable, and answered my questions about plumbing in detail (those questions are not about the job done)
but he could have been more careful about the job: he jus let the black sewage water drain out into my yard. though he made an effort to spray it with a water hose, that yucky stuff is going to remain in my yard and remain smelly. he already doesn’t like drainage out in yard cuz when he started he asked «do you have leaks? because there are flies», then he should take the same consideration for the job he is doing
overall he is a bit corky or bossy. come on you are paid by me to do the job but he commands me to do various things like I’m his assistant. he should better prepare all the necessary tools involved (hoses for clean up, rags etc). he’s not coming to my house as a labor but is expected to provide an end to end professional solution

I needed a plumber asap to control leak in my bathroom sink. It was horrible and there was water all over the floor. I called up Pete by seeing reviews here. This guy has no idea that he is 5 starred on Unilocal.
His work was professional no doubt but so was his behavior. I really liked the professionalism he potrayed in small small things like asking if he may come in etc. I would reco him for his work as well as behavior.

I needed a plumber ASAP because my kitchen sink was clogged and I run a home daycare. I checked on Unilocal to see what was around and came across Pete’s plumbing.
Pete gave me a 1 hour window, which was awesome. Brandon arrived and he was very friendly and very informative.
Got me back washing dishes an hour later! I definitely will use them again.

My garbage disposal stopped working. Talked with pete over the phone and he was very forth coming about the job and how long it would probably take. His son arrived on time and explained the situation and gave me a few options. He was able to get the garbage disposal working again. He gave me some pointers to try next time. Very helpful and friendly. I definitely will recommend this company.

Pete is amazing, he fixed my problem even without coming to my house!
Here’s what happened: I was trying to replace my bathroom’s spout. Thinking it was a simple project, I didn’t think twice and matched forward. Bad mistake on step1! When trying to remove the old spout, I failed to notice there was a set screw that’s attached to the copper pipe. As soon as I turned the spout, I felt metal scrapping and knew something terrible happened. After removing the old one, I found the copper nipple coming from the wall was punctured! In a huge panic, I started calling around for local plumbers. Most didn’t pickup the phone (it was Sunday afternoon).
Pete answered my call in 2 rings. He first calm me down telling me everything is fixable. (I guess I sounded pretty panic at that time) After listening to the issue, he gave me 2 recommended solutions. Instead of trying to sell me his service, he explained to me in full details (step by step plus what parts to buy for each solution). He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what’s going on just by listening to me over the phone. That gave me enough confidence to give it a try. I went to Home Depot and picked up some copper pipes and couplings. By following Pete’s detailed instructions, my new spout was installed 2 hours later. I would have never even attempted this had I not spoke with Pete.
Although I didn’t hire Pete this time, he’s on my speed dial and will be the first to call on any upcoming plumbing job. Thank you Pete!

Came out late on a Saturday after I waited over 8 hours for two other companies who didn’t show. Pete is AWESOME, he is experienced, full of knowledge and made quick work of clearing the clogged drain without any issues. His price is beyond reasonable and service was within half an hour. He did what he said he was going to do and explained everything to us.

I have utilized Pete and his son, Brandon, for many years. They have been the most reasonable, and honest plumbers, I have found in the Tri-​city area! Pete is a straight forward and no-​nonsense kind of person with «Old-​fashion» work ethics. He is in the business of the «Long Haul» — repeat customers and satisfied customers.
When I asked him about replacing my home water heater, he came to my home to actually look at the job and gave he opinion of the type of water heater best for my home and showed me the items that he needed to replace and those that didn’t! This really impressed me because I do understand what is when a water heater is to be replaced. I also checked the water heater brand he recommended and it turn out to be a highly recoimmended one and efficient one– this advice was really appreciated for the Bradford-​White water heater (I also liked that it was made in America)!
After giving the go ahead to replace the water heater, he got it installed with a lot patience and good work! I can see that he was deligent in his work and took pride in doing a great job! He also took pride and time in cleaning up despite another customer calling him on his cell phone to «Push» him to be at their job!
I highly recommend Pete for all plumbing needs as he is one person with solid work ethics and works for the «Long Haul» instead of the single job! A great man-​of-​his-​words. No «BS» from him, or Brandon, for both — they call-​it as they see it!
Support the local independent whose is in for the long term relationship with the customer!
Additionally, when I needed my drain to be uncloged, his son, Brandon, has done a great job for a fair flat rate! I can not imagine calling anyone else!
Bottom line: Pete made my wife, and boys, happy with very hot water even when the dial is set at the lowest setting! When they are happy, I am happy

Was in the process of being conned by my home warranty company over Christmas (10 days without hot water and counting…) and got an ASTRONOMICAL quote by the plumber. Decided to check out Pete’s because he was highly recommended by my neighborhood yahoo group.
Long story short, he gave me a quote to replace my hot water heater over the phone. and came over the same day. Got us all happy with hot water by 10 pm that night!
totally awesome guy, very straightforward, honest. No BS, totally dependable. Super efficient, and responsive.
Highly recommend him.
update: to add more to this review… a couple of weeks ago my stove gave out, and I called to see if he could run a gas line for me. He (Pete) came out and gave me advice on what type of stove to buy (½ inch gas line) and what considerations and choices I have to make to ensure I have it installed properly. All this for free!

We had a bad toilet since we moved in, leaked all the time. I had a very bad experience with the plumber my home insurance sent out, so I cashed out and called Pete after reading Unilocal reviews.
Brandon came out to the home, big guy but very nice and clean. He removed my old toilet that had a crack in it, installed the new one I had ready, worked fast. I was quoted $ 200 but he said «well it only took me 1.5 hours so your bill is $ 150» I could not be happier.

Pete fixed our leaky showers! He was very down-​to-​earth, and did a great job. He clearly knows plumbing, having been in the business for years and years.
When seeking out home repair, I always go for people who have experience and good customer service, even if they are not the cheapest. Cheapest is not always best.
