Our wedding was on june 11 2016 and i started planning everything a year ago with farzaneh joon.
She was my wedding planner and also she designed our ceremony (Sofreh) and flowers.
she was amazing and made sure that everything was they way that we requested.
Her team was really professional and everything went great on our wedding.
we were so happy to work with you and thank you for making our special day beautiful.

Farah, thank you so much for giving me peace of mind! First of all she is very down to earth, professional, flexible and understanding. This woman goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. Works well with budgets and delivers on time.
I hired her for my flowers which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE and did exactly what I envisioned (photo coming soon) and from there we got along so well that I decided to have her coordinate my wedding (4÷15÷16) for the day of. OMG… I really had no stress, no worries because Farah had it all under control… she insisted that I’d worry anymore of details and communicating with vendors… she did it all.
My family and friends couldn’t believe how calm and relaxed my husband and I looked. Hands down… I HIGHLY recommend her services and will work with her again (daughters baptism).

Farah is a ROCKSTAR. I’m being completely honest when I say if it wasn’t for her — my whole wedding day would have turned into the most horrible day of my life. and ONLY because of her — It turned out to be the most Gorgeous and the most Classy wedding ever!
When I first met Farah I was initially looking for a florist. Being familiar with the flower industry and event planning, I was looking for something special and unique. We talked bout arrangements and the style I was looking for, and after couple of minutes I knew I could trust her hundred precent in all possible ways. because she knew exactly what I was looking for and since she has done so many intercultural weddings, she is very knowledgable about all the difficulties that comes with it. (in our case — we didnt know how many guests we have up until after the cocktail hour ON the wedding day) Farah works with you and your guests in a way that everything would simply work in the best way possible. She has also an amazing taste and the best thing about her is that you can make sure that she will deliver something BEYOND your expectations on the day of your wedding. The arrangements very freshly done, there were ALOT of flowers involved and EVERYBODY in my wedding made sure to take pictures with the sweetheart table she arranged so tastefully for us.
My BEST BEST BEST decision ever made was to hire Farah as my wedding planner. Only 2 months before the wedding, the only things I had taken care of was invitation cards and a contract with the reception. It took us couple of sessions to go over details and then she took care of EVERYTHING. From detailed Timeline to contacting vendors — I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. She even made the effort to come with me to the club where we were holding the reception and talk to the director about set ups/​food/​bar/​decoration, etc. And by doing so she saved me around $ 3000! She even wrote me a check 3 WEEKS before the wedding, returning the cost of 2 tables that had been canceled. Believe me– you will NEVER find anyone in the bay area who would do that for you.
Farah has so many amazing ideas when it comes to do something more than the standard. My husband really wanted to have some kind of fire works for the night time and since it was not allowed to have that at the reception, Farah suggested Sparklers station on the patio and she did a beautiful set up for it outside and also made sure that the photographer and the MC are working together so that we have a very unique picture taken with all the guests holding a sparkler (and also being so excited about it !).
She makes sure that she is there for you when you have to deal with an unexpected situation. On the day of the wedding, right after the photographer took a picture of my dress, we found a huge mark right in the middle of the dress! It was like someone KISSED my dress with orange glossy lipstick! before I could even understand the situation Farah comes into the room with some kind of a correction pen and within seconds the spot was gone. I have no Idea how the whole situation was handled ! but she didn’t let me feel slightly sad or stressed even for one SECOND! She was there for me making sure I’m fed, happy and that I’m having a good time. All the rest was handled by her — perfectly.
Did I tell you that she put down her own credit card when the limo driver said that she needs a credit card for incidentals?! and none of us had our purses with us? Seriously, who does that?
There were couple of more INCIDENTS that happened on the day of the wedding that I’m not comfortable to share online, but in all those situations Farah was the one who managed them perfectly and turned our wedding day from being a complete mess into a GORGEOUS– FLAWLESS –MOST AMAZING DAY EVER! she did an incredible job and without her, the whole money spent on the day of the wedding would have gone straight into the garbage.
She pulled off the wedding of our dreams and went above and beyond to make it happen. If you are thinking of having a wedding planner and a tasteful designer who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, easy to work with, and above all, if you are looking for a professional who really CARES about the kind of service she provides, PLEASE make sure that you consider SF events and flowers — they are worth every penny.

Farah is awesome!!! Ok so I was not the bride but I was the MOH. I attended all the meetings with my besty and I got to say I was truly impressed with Farah and her talent and patience during the whole process. If you have planned a wedding or big event before you know your mind can get a bit crazy and you can be all over the place when it comes to ideas and final decisions, Farah is so understanding and such a calming personality.
The day of the wedding she went above and beyond what we were expecting, her work was fabulous!
I only wish we were aware she was also a wedding planner because having her handle all aspects of the wedding would have made things run smoother on the day of! She is the best HIRE HER for your events!

I seriously cannot say enough about how great Farah is. Trust me when I say that I’m not one to hand out compliments easily either…
I decided to get married in Napa at a venue that had an available date… only 7 weeks away. I went ahead and booked it AND booked it for the next day as well since I wanted to have one traditional Persian ceremony (agh) on one day, then a traditional western wedding the following day. The next thing I know, I ended up deciding to have 6 different events (cocktail parties, costume party — you name it!) for 200 people in only 7 weeks’ time.
I can honestly say that none of it could have happened without Farah. She took time to listen to me and my mom about what we both wanted. She even played the role of intermediary and referee when necessary so that we both ended up getting what we wanted.
Farah’s understanding and interpretation of my taste was spot on, and I loved that her pricing didn’t go up because I had a decent budget. All of her floral pricing is based upon size so it made me feel like it was fair. Alternately, I feel like the minute I mentioned the word «wedding» to some of my other vendors, their pricing mysteriously doubled or tripled; that was not the case with Farah.
The only element I couldn’t decide upon was the centerpieces. I wanted something tall and dramatic, but didn’t like any of the photos on pinterest. Farah took it upon herself to create a custom design based upon the things I had mentioned to her. The end result was stunning and exactly what I had wanted.
She took time out of her weekend to go visit the venue with me and my family (over 6 hours in total). In all, we spent a great deal of time with her and she was always pleasant and made us feel like she was just as excited about our wedding as we were. Do yourself a favor and hire her NOW!

Working with Farrah for my nekah was amazing, she turned very small place into a dream come true, the flowers were exquisite, the table clothes, chair covers and sachets were placed so carefully it look like a million bucks, I sent her tons of referrals, I will be using her again.

We are so happy we chose Farah to design our sofreh aghd! She is a consummate professional. Her design was beautiful and she truly listened to us about what we wanted so that the sofreh reflected all of our personalities and families’ wishes. There were no issues on the day of the wedding — everything was in order, on time, and beautifully done. This is a stress-​free decision! She makes everything go well at every step of the way. We are so grateful we found Farah and worked with her on this special day.

I mentioned second best because my officiator, Azin (Wedding Ceremonies by Azin) recommended Farah (SF Events and Flowers). So, which was the best decision? that’s kind of like the chicken or the egg questions… but I’ll leave that up to you. haha
Either way, I am a BEYOND Satisfied customer!!! The flowers were bigger and more beautiful than I could have imagined!!!
Back to detailed review… she is a one stop shop for many things. She does invitations, flowers, decorations, and event planning. She has a show room on the second floor of her building so for folks that are visual like me, she is able to bring you up to the show room to demonstrate some of the available options.
Here are a few of the items I utilized her for:

–Ceremony and reception drapery/​decorations
One of the things I noticed throughout the planning process is that not all vendors will tell you the total cost of their services unless you know how to speak vendor lingo. Farah does none of that! She is clear about the costs and works with your budget to implement your vision. She is very approachable, friendly, knowledgeable, talented, and most importantly up front!
I’m actually going to try and post one of the pictures my guests took of our ceremony space she decorated. It’s BEAUTIFUL!

Farah was our floral designer and day of coordinator. We had so many compliments on the flowers. She was so professional, helpful and responsive. We’d recommend using Farah for your wedding.

We had our wedding at Bentley Reserve in SF, went to her office with my wife and her mom, Farzaneh was really nice, showed us her showroom and gave us a really good deal for everything we needed. She came in with her team early morning to make sure that everything was set. What i loved about her was that she cared a lot about the wedding as much i did. Thank you so much, will use and recommend you again ;) TWO BIG THUMBS UP!

Farah designed the Sofreh Aghd for our wedding on August 2, 2014. She met with us in person, by phone and email to make sure the design would compliment our style and wedding. In addition she partnered with our florist so that our floral arrangement on the Sofreh Aghd matched our ceremony perfectly. The Sofreh Aghd was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
Also, my husband requested that we keep the Sofreg Aghd set-​up during the entire wedding reception so that all of our guests, and especially his family and non-​Persian friends could see the detail as this was the first time many of them were seeing a Sofreh Aghd. This meant that Farah’s team would set up the Aghd for our ceremony, leave and then come back close to midnight to tear it down. She offered to do that to accommodate our needs.
Finally, my Persian family and friends all agreed that the detail in our Aghd made it one of the best they had seen.
I would highly recommend hiring Farah to create the Sofreh Aghd for your wedding!

Farah is THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. We hired her for our wedding to provide and design both our sofreh and the florals for the reception hall. She is truly an artist and a experienced professional at her craft.
She has the best pricing of anyone we spoke to and certainly offers the best value. What impressed me the most is that she was in the emergency room the night before our weddinf for an eye injury and she not only didnt say anything to us to not stress us out on our day but she delivered to the fullest.
Oh and we found our flower center piece designs on pinterest that were way out of our budget but she managed to create ones that looked practically identical and well under the price of the ones we found on pinterest. I’m absolutely convinced that there is nothing she can’t create.
I cannot say enough about this woman. She is truly the best at what she does. Anyone that doesnt give her a shot is seriously overpaying or selling themself short.

First of all we are so happy that we found SF Events & Flowers in the Persian yellow pages! After meeting with Farah and seeing her showroom we fell in love with her displays and what she had to offer! Farah left a lasting impression on us, which is why we signed the contract that very same day! I know what we will be using her in the future and she will be the first and last person that we would recommend for any occasion! Farah went out of her way to assist us in every possible way that she could. Most importantly, she pays attention to every detail, provides outstanding design and gives you the highest quality! Farah helped us with our wedding reception recently. She was very pleasant to work with and was easily accessible when we needed her. Her prices are reasonable and she has really nice décor including manzeneta trees, lighting, tablecloths and more! We received so many compliments on our centerpieces both small and medium size have a generous amount of fresh flowers. The only issue I ran into was my bridal bouquet. For $ 150 we had decided that I would get 2 colors, but instead received only one color the day of the wedding. There wasn’t enough time to fix the issue so negative star for that as I was anticipating 2 to match my dress. I would recommend her, just make sure to communicate everything clearly.

Farzaneh is awesome! I used her services for planning my baby shower. She is very professional and provides a great service. I highly recommend her for planning any event!

I gave Farzaneh a picture of what I want and she delivered the same, I was super happy with my bouquets mine and my bridesmaid.

We, along with all of our guests, loved the Sofreh Aghd. It was beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for anything more lovely and elegant. Farah gave me the Sofreh Aghd that I had always wanted. She is an amazing artist and a great person to work with. She is very organized and reliable and gets back to the clients quickly and efficiently. We also ordered our wedding invitations through Farah both in Farsi and English, since we had a Persian– American wedding, and the invitations were simply gorgeous. She has my recommendation in a heart beat.

This place is horrible, all I did was order flowers and for the price I paid they were not good at all. I would recommend this place to no one. I would highly suggest finding a different planner because you could surely find someone better for the same price

YICK. I paid sixty dollars last year for a coursage and boutinner for senior ball. We sat down with the lady I amde it clear that I want a full corsage, and I thought I made it clear when I paid nearly double what I paid for prom corsage, but alas.
When I got my flowers, my dates boutinner had more flowers than my corsage! I paid 60 dollars for one orchid with spray painted babys breath and another two orchid attatched to a pin.
The worst part, it lasted about a half an hour. It didn’t even make it for the picture.
You want some nice reasonable priced corsage boutineer– try The Flower Shop on Paseo Padre.
Also, I am taken aback by how some reviews similar to mine have been taken down and not responded too. It’s two years later and I’m still upset that I was taken advantage of for being a high school student.

I ordered flowers from SF Events less than a month ago for my Senior Ball.
The price I got for the flowers was very good. It cost about $ 20 for a corsage and boutineers and beat the price Safeway had for when I bought flowers for my prom last year. However, it’s important to note that I bought my flowers with a group of friends, so we got them for a deal.
The flowers themselves were beautiful. The corsage came with three roses attached to them and my date received many compliments about how great they looked.
My problem with the flowers, however, is that by the end of the night, my date only had ¹⁄₃ of the roses that came attached with the corsage. We were thinking of preserving the flowers as a souvenir after prom, but the flowers came off throughout the night.
