At Warm Springs Optometric Group, Dr. Michael Fauria and Dr. Susan Pirrone provide you with comprehensive state-of-the-art vision examinations. This assessment includes, but not limited to, corrections for nearsightedness, farsightedness, presbyopia and other refractive conditions, as well as, threatening conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol. Both doctors are licensed in managing and treating eye disease and will prescribe appropriate medications for your eye conditions. In addition to this, WSOG also offers state-of-the-art technology to provide you with eye exams without dilation! The Optomap gives a five second retina scan that provides our doctors with a digital map of the retina. Dr. Fauria and Dr. Pirrone are also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) to help correct nearsightedness without glasses or contacts.

Dr. Michael Fauria and Dr. Susan Pirrone both graduated from as classmates from U.C. Berkeley, the #1 ranked optometry school in the country, and have practiced in warm springs since 1985. Their years of experience means complete, accurate diagnoses of your vision problem with clear explanation. Business Owner
Following graduation Dr. Fauria began Warm Springs Optometric Group with Dr. Susan M. Pirrone. He and Dr. Pirrone shared time in the office while also working outside the practice. Dr. Fauria was hired as the Optometric Clinical Director for Gardner Family Health Network in San Jose. His work was primarily with senior citizens and under-served Latino populations in San Jose. He gained valuable and extensive knowledge in the treatment of eye disease; he developed clinical guidelines for cataract and glaucoma evaluations as well as laser surgeries for diabetics.
Dr. Michael Fauria is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and Alameda Contra-Costa County Optometric Society, in which he served as director of membership and legislative keyperson. He was honored as Keyperson of the Year for the State of California in 1999. In addition he was awarded the top membership award for the state in 1997.
