Clean, welcomed and a friendly staff. Always a great clean dental feeling when I leave the place.

Out of all the dentists I’ve ever been to, I would have to say Dr. Nasimi is the best! He always gives his honest opinion and really cares for his patients. Carol, the dental hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth =) Definitely recommend!

This place is still two orders of magnitude better than other dentistry practices. They have the same friendly, competent staff (hello, can u say «low turnover?»). It is clean, located on Utopia and L.I.E., has a nice waiting room with large screen TV.
Last December I came here for a second opinion and I immediately regretted going anywhere else. The other BK dentist (closer to where I live) charged ~$ 155 plus additional X-​ray charge and said I needed to have work done for a cracked tooth. He emphasized how worried he was that the tooth might crack open or something. I told him there was no pain even when he cracked his tool on the molar making a clinging sound. There seemed to be a mixture of incompetence and culture of ripoff at this nameless place that awkwardly retrofitted a beautiful old Clinton Hill home to house a business.
Dr Nasimi CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED remnants of an old filling (harmless). I would much rather support the clean, modern office that cares about their patients and the upkeep of their office. In December, they did not charge me for their digital X-​ray for some reason.
Today’s (mid-​March 2015) cleaning by Carol was excellent and cost $ 90(I don’t have dental insurance). No charge for the exam. Obviously I will be back!

I only make a few trips here every so often but the staff (every single one of them) is ALWAYS pleasant.
First off, the office is very modern looking and clean. Not that the interior décor has anything to do with service but it just looks like they had the patient experience in mind. The ladies at the front desk are always so welcoming. I walked in today for the first time in a few years (heh) and as soon as I came in I was greeted by several people with a «Hello Stephanie!» — a little surprising but a really nice touch =)
I can’t remember my hygienist’s name but reading the other reviews, it was probably Carol. Love her. Super nice lady who always chitchats with me for a bit before we get down to business. After every cleaning, she’ll usually give me tips on how to keep my teeth clean throughout the day especially with my diet (candy & carbs sigh).
Now Dr. Nasimi. Probably THE MOST polite and gentle dentist or person I have ever met. The worst part about dental visits before Tooth used to be the anesthesia (I think for my cavities? I forget) where they would stick a huge looking needle into your gums. At my very first check up here, I had to get anesthesia and I remember dreading what was always a short but IMO very painful feeling. When he proceeded to inject the anesthetic, he massaged my gums at the same time and … I didn’t feel a thing!
Dr. Nasimi is a very soft spoken man which, in a way, keeps me relaxed. He answers every question as thoroughly as he can and never pushes anything on you. I had something done to my teeth from a previous dentist who did a not so stellar job. I asked Dr. Nasimi if I should redo it but he said it really wasn’t necessary and I probably shouldn’t bother with it for now.
The wait time can be a little long at times (I got lucky today and came in in place of a cancellation) but really, this is pretty much the norm for doctors and appointments these days. I work in healthcare too and I’m not going to rush them as I wouldn’t want them to rush with me.
PLEASE, if you’re looking for a dentist in queens (or manhasset where he has his second office), go to Tooth!

Dr Nasimi is very gentle & knowledgeable dentist. We are very pleased with Dr. Nasimi & the staff at Tooth and appreciate a dentist who is pleasant & whose staff is willing to accommodate each patient. I have had the pleasure of meeting other patients in his waiting room who concur. Highly recommend this dental practice.

What you see in other reviews is true, Dr. Nasimi is not only a great person, but a fantastic dentist.
Choosing a dentist in a large city can be a daunting task if you have no word-​of-​mouth recommendations or know anybody. Fortunately, I went off the reviews by other Unilocalers and was very happy I made the choice.
Tooth’s offices are modern, spacious and welcoming. Not like a typical basement/​first floor dentist you’d expect to see in NYC. From his receptionists to his assistants, everybody is friendly (and gentle). Every time I’ve gone in, I haven’t sat for more than 10 minutes before heading to the back.
Dr. Nasimi know’s his teeth (no pun intended). He takes his time evaluating all options rather than rushing to a judgment and going with it. After he explains and answers everything for you, he begins his work. I had a root canal and crown done and didn’t even feel a thing, which is the way it should be.
If you’re looking for a dentist in NYC, I would highly recommend to try Tooth out.
Also, there’s usually street parking spots available on 182^nd St.

This dentist is by far the best dentist I have gone to. The location is perfect being that I live 10 minutes away. I found out about this place from my cousin who highly recommended this facility. My first visit consisted of meeting the hygienist who gently explained what work needs to be done after taking my x-​rays. What I loved the most is how comfortable everyone made me feel besides making me feel bad about the horrendous mess that was in my mouth. If your looking for a team of people who is focused on building back your self-​esteem this is the place for you. So pleased with this place I’m recommending it to all my family and friends.

First visit today but waited over an hour before I had to make a decision to leave. It did not seem like I was going to be seen within the next 2 hours. Wish I would have known they were overbooked so I could have rescheduled. I’m afraid I will have to try another dentist. The search continues…

I was looking for a new dentist. My previous guy is too far away. I live in Queens and don’t want to drive far out to Long Island anymore. I decided to check Unilocal! and see if I could find a dentist. Yippee! I found TOOTH! Cool name… for sure.
Nice location… corner of Utopia Parkway at Horace Harding (the eastbound service road of the Long Island Expressway).
Walk up the L-​O-​N-​G flight of steps to the office and enter what looks like a Space Station. Very clean bright and MODERN offices. I was greeted by a lovely (very white teeth!) receptionist. She asked me to fill out my medical history and requisite disclaimers, etc.
When I was called into the treatment suite… I was greeted by a very nice guy (whose name I forgot). He has lots of tattooes and is a musician. Very cool. I thought I was in SoHo about to get a piercing. He is smart and kind and gentle and made me feel very relaxed. He took a ful set of X-​Rays.
Next: Drumroll… Carol…Dental Hygienist to The Stars. She gets 10 STARS. What a doll. Perfect. Friendly. Very gentle. Smiles. Talks. Listens, Laughs. Oh… and she also did an AWESOME and thorough job cleaning my teefas. I told her that next time… I’m going to eat a package of OREO cookies before I go to see her so it takes her longer.
Then…Second Drumroll: Dr. Nisimi. They should play the theme from Star Wars when he walks in. He is terrific. Warm. Professional. Immaculate. Gentle. He did his thing, fixed somethibng that was bothering me. He answered questtions and suggested a follow-​up visit.
As I was leaving I was given a small care package of tiny toohpaste, floss, and a toothbrush. For the first time in a long time… I left the dentist office with not only clean teeth… but with a REAL smile on my face.
TOOTH is my new dentist office.

Dr. Nasimi is a fabulous doctor. I’ve been a long-​time patient and highly recommend him as honest, trustworthy and professional. Dr. Nasimi got me on a regular course of cleanings that dramatically improved my dental health and then he started me with the Invisalign program that he specifically tailored to my needs. There were no hidden fees or charges and he has held true to the deal we had. He is always on time for my appointments (which is really important to me) and his office is very easy to reach adn always has ample parking. I highly recommend Dr. Nasimi.

Let me first say that NO ONE hates going to the dentist worse than me. Dr Nasimi is AMAZING! I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff! Extremely gentle and kind touch. He was recommended by my old dentist who no longer accepts my insurance. I thank my old Dentist all the time for sending me to Dr Nasimi. His office is brand new and BEAUTIFUL! State of the art equipment, digital xray and charting, the friendliest staff ever! He is truly a genuine kind man and very smart! I def refer him whenever someone asks. GO THERE! =)

While other dentists are cutting back and closing down, Dr. Nasimi is in the process of growing his practice at two locations! State of the art equipment, modern facility, young & friendly staff, expert dentist. Dr. Nasimi has a gentle hand and a kind spirit. If you’re afraid of going to the dentist, he’s perfect for you. His hygenist is also gentle — getting your teeth cleaned can be a nightmare with all the scraping & the loud sounds of the tools, but these experts use equiptment that is so advanced (shoots warm water at the teeth as it scrapes) that you feel comfortable the whole time.
This is not one of my more obsessively-​technical reviews because I have nothing negative to report. I easily stand by my 5 star review. And I’ve sent 4 friends/​family members to him and they all say the same, «he’s AWESOME!»
NOTE: We’re not just getting cleanings either; the following services have been seemless performed by him thereby leading me to this review:
* replacement of metal fillings for white ones
* Invisalign consult (leading to purchase)
* Root canal
* Surgery to correct infection (post-​root canal by another dentist); included bone graph & post
* Veneers
* Whitening
Prices are reasonable but he works with most insurance companies which is a huge relief.
