Their service department always does a great job. I am able to wait and get an oil change during a busy time.

My husband and I had been thinking about getting a new car for a couple months. After researching, we narrowed our needs down to a Subaru Forester or a Jeep Cherokee. On our way to the dealership we told ourselves that if any salesperson was pushy or made us feel uncomfortable we would simply leave. Our first stop was Lithia Subaru, where we were greeted by Brittany. She was friendly, knowledgable and helpful without any of the stereotypical «car salesperson» feeling. After test driving, we were confident that this was the car for us. She helped us settle on a fair price and we signed the papers right then and there! She has also texted us to make sure she answers all questions. I think if it were anyone else we probably would have waited or walked away — but we felt so comfortable and confident with her.
We also worked with Mason from the Finance Department. He was extremely helpful, offering us great advice on owning our first new car and first Subaru! (Everyone we worked with was an actual Subaru owner!) Mason made the financing and buying experience easy and we are very appreciative.
Now onto our Subaru Forester — which we LOVE! We purchased the standard 2016 model which includes a computer screen with voice command, rear view camera, Bluetooth capabilities and multiple other functions. The back seats fold down very easily and I’ve already moved furniture with our Forester. The best part — I have a long commute to work so we needed something big enough for a growing family but easy on gas mileage. I honestly get 32mpg on my hour drive! My husband and I were afraid of buying a new car, but all we’ve been able to say since buying it is that it’s the best thing we have bought yet.

I don’t think I’ve ever been treated as well by a service dept as I was here. They were not only honest and fair but went above. and beyond. Mikey is one trustworthy human. Thank you Lithia Subaru. It’s nice to know that honest service centers still exist.

Purchased a pre-​owned vehicle from Lithia. Chris assisted us with low pressure, customer first service. Based on schedule, we were not able to get to Fresno for a few days, but he let us know it was still available the night before we headed down and held it for us until we got there the next morning. It was a great purchasing experience — excellent vehicle at a fair price!

Just recently purchased my vary first Subaru and was happy with the service from John the salesman and Robert the manager vary professional and understanding they both let me and my wife have time and space to make the big descion which made the overall experience as smooth and fast as possible

Horrible service! Sales team very misleading. They told me to bring a check in for one price and right before we signed the papers they tried to add on 5k. This is after mind you, that I questioned multiple times the way the the PO was written in regards to my trade in and I was assured multiple times it was correct. I offered to split the difference on their mistake and they wouldn’t even do that! Not accommodating to their potential customers. This was all a sales manager error, and they didn’t want to make it right. Horrible horrible experience.

The person to ask for here is Ed Monson. He’s one of the Internet Sales Managers. Helped me put together the smoothest car transaction I’ve ever done. I traveled 5 hours to buy a used car. We worked out the details by phone and email. Ed had already provided me the CarFax and everything I requested. To cut down on paperwork and my turnaround time at the dealership, he handled all the credit and paperwork before I got on the airplane in Southern California. He picked me up at the airport and when we got to the dealership my «new» car was detailed, filled with gas and ready to roll. My car is a clean diesel, so before travelling, I asked Ed to be sure the DEF tank was filled so I didn’t putter out on my drive home. He took care of that too even though none of the cars he sells at Subaru and Mitsubishi use diesel. As it seems to be at any car dealership, the paperwork in the business office took awhile, but my time at the dealership was not unpleasant. They have donuts and coffee in the waiting area and I made good use of the wi-​fi. All in all, I got a great, low-​mileage used car that is in great condition and fun to drive. My salesman definitely cared about my experience and satisfaction in the purchase, it was a fair price near wholesale book and my time was not wasted. What better way is there to by a used car?

Excuses, excuses, excuses. This is for the service department. Repeated emails and voicemails requesting status of the repair on my 2011 Subaru Outback with little result. «Oh, I’ve been running around all day and haven’t had a chance to check my messages, oh I am so busy!» Yes, well, I am busy as well, and already supremely annoyed with Subaru roadside service for wanting to charge me to tow my vehicle to the dealership, but that is another review.
Ironic that I work for the National Par Service, and Subaru is all about donating cars, but I can’t get quality service for one of their vehicles and I drove a Hyundai rental car to a park as major as Yosemite. Yes, all my co-​workers know why.
In any case, I was about 11 miles from home in Mariposa after picking up the car in Fresno when the problem re-​surfaced. Now it is Saturday, and I expect MORE excuses if I even get any response as to why they don’t know what is causing the problem, why they can’t come get the car without charging me, why they can’t provide a loaner car, etc. And Yosemite National Park is going to be down an employee because Lithia Subaru’s service department and Mike Gervin do not have their act together.

Bought a used car (not Subaru) here for daughter. Purchasing through Ed was pleasant. The car came with a 60 day warranty but having the hardest time getting them to properly fix everything. Customer service in this aspect is horrible. They fixed some items that created new problems, they are ordering incorrect parts, nobody will give my husband an answer as to how they are going to go about fixing this. I believe one if these items is a safety issue that they should address immediately. Less than one month left on this warranty and it’s still not repaired. Nobody will go above and beyond to get this issue resolved. I feel that if its not a Subaru, they don’t want to fulfill the warranty that they provided.

I’ve debated leaving feedback over the past year, and looking at my credit report tonight I’m reminded I should.
My husband has always loved his Subaru, with almost 200k miles and for its high mileage, running strong. We didn’t want to work with our local dealership and didn’t want to deal with LA, so Fresno was the closest one. We talked to a salesperson by phone only, because we didn’t want to drive up unless we could be close to the payments we wanted. They asked to include me as a possible cosigner. Since we had not even test-​driven the new Imprezas, I was hesitant and asked if this was going to show up on my credit report and was told «No, it doesn’t do an actual credit check,» so, I naively gave my information.
Lo’ and behold, next time I check out Credit Karma, and there’s a hard credit inquiry from Lithia Subaru. We ended up getting a completely different make due to state/​federal incentives for PHEV — funny thing is there is no hard inquiry from the dealership i actually went with.
So the reason I’m not giving 1-​star is because I was dumb giving my information at all. However, I’m left with the impression they’ll say anything, without actually looking into what they’re doing.

I worked with the internet sales manager, Ed. He was fantastic to work with! He was friendly and truly cared more about my happiness and comfort level in the deal making process than he did the sale. He treated me like a fellow human being, and not simply a customer. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were on the same page, and he communicates very effectively. As far as sales go from a car dealership, Ed was high and away the most comfortable and friendly sales person I’ve ever dealt with. If you’re looking for a Subaru or Mitsubishi, go to Lithia Subaru on Blackstone and barstow and ask for Ed! You’ll be very pleased with the service level he provides. The same cannot be said of most other dealers and sales people. Thank you for a fantastic experience Ed and Lithia Subaru!

I’ve had my car for about 3 weeks and I’m very happy.

Went in for my first service. Only complaints were with being ignored when I walked into the service department even though I clearly didn’t know where to go and even though I had an appointment it took a half hour before my car was taken back to the service bay. Once I talked with a person they were courteous with me and the facilities were nice

I brought my vehicle in for a recall service. I made an appointment but still called ahead to make sure they knew the problem.
Arrived on time and was told it would take three hours, I checked back three and a half hours later and they had not even started on it.

Great experience! Sales rep Victor B. was awesome! No pressure sales and answered all of our questions. He was patient with us wanting to test drive 3 different cars and we were there for a long time. So long, in fact, that we had to take a break and go get dinner. In the end we went with a lease and were very happy with the terms and price. They will work with you on what you can afford and, like I said, there was no pressure to buy/​lease. They went over both options thoroughly and explained the pro’s/con’s.
There was a slight «issue» with the paperwork for our trade-​in and I had to drive back 2 more times to get is straightened out. Wasn’t happy about that and when I mentioned it to one of the managers he quickly got someone to run our new Subaru over to the gas station and filled it up for the inconvenience. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Highly recommend this place and is MUCH better than the Lithia Dodge dealership (they treated me like I was 5 years old and couldn’t do basic math … *that* dealership gets a negative 5 stars lol).

Phew & Wow! This place is great. Mikey just helped us out so much… We were just about to head out for a three hour drive when our Subi started dying while driving and downshifting… I did a little freak out and worried that taking the car to a Subaru service center rather than our mechanic friend at home would cost a lot of money and that maybe they would try to keep it and say there’s more mechanical problems. How wrong was I??? Mikey was so helpful and knowledgable and now we’re on our way home now with no problems and nothing out of pocket. We are so grateful! Thank you!

This was a great experience! This was our second Subaru purchase from this dealership and I cant wait for our third. Ed Munson (Subaru internet sales) helped us and really made us feel welcome and like family. He wasn’t pushy or sleazy like some other dealerships I have been to which was great, and he could answer all of my questions, he knows the cars very well. Highly recommended this salesman and this dealership.

It’s actually a pleasant and relaxing experience to get your car serviced at Lithia Subaru. That is something i never thought i would say. Between my husband and I we have been here about 6 times to take care of routine maintenance. The price has always been fair and they are never pushy with their recommendations.
I love that they offer Cappucino, doughnuts and wi-​fi while you wait! 3 things everyone loves, right? They even have hot chocolate and a vending machine for the kiddos. They offered my daughter activity books to keep her busy which was impressive.
The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have found my go to dealership! I love my Subaru and will continue to be a loyal customer.
