the Mac inside the mall is WAY better than the Mac in Macy’s– I came in the other day to get some pigment and the girl at MACYS was rude, slow, and when she finally got to me, forgot to grab my order and so I eventually left. today I came into the MAC by teazers in the mall and was pleased with the service– immediate greeting, helpful tips about the falsies I bought– night and day.

I purchased a MAC powder from Macy’s in River Park and was super disappointed when I got in my car and found out that the MAC employee sold me a USED studio fix powder. I thought that the employee would have checked it first before selling it to me but I guess they were too busy. So I get down and go back to the MAC dept and explain to the employee what happened. She apologized and then credited me the amount I paid for the purchase. Rosemary then proceeded to explain what could have happened and apologized again and asked if I wanted to talk to a manager, to which I said«yes» Lynn the sales manager was very friendly and listened to my experience. I told her that I was very upset and she apologized and informed me that she would find out what happened and will make sure that the same thing does not happen to another person. Macy’s is lucky to have Lynn and Rosemary as employees because they rectified the situation and made me feel like I was a valued customer even though neither of them was the responsible person that initially sold me the product. I was very impressed with their professionalism. I also appreciate the fact that they didn’t want to lose me as a customer and gave me a gift certificate for the inconvenience. Thank you Lynn and Rosemary for your help.

Extremely incompetent people they have hired @ River Park Macy’s Mac. I wanted to buy the lipstick«fabby» and they were out the girl who helped was nice but the one @ the counter told me fashion fair has«15» I wasn’t about to head that way in traffic their store policy is if it’s out they will order and ship it to you for free, she didn’t even offer that and said I could order it online I waited ten minutes to hear that? I always shop @ this Macy’s but they lost my business to the Mac counter. They need to hire more classier people! I’m buying my lipstick from Nordstrom free shipping free returns!!!

To the older tattooed woman with the piercings at the Mac cosmetics at Macy’s, I’m the one who walked away after you rudely interrupted me because your co-worker with the dreds came and interrupted us in the middle of something. To turn around completely and answer to him was TOTALLY unprofessional ANDRUDE. Next time, be more professional instead of horsing around. We were discussing something at the register. Rule #1, customers always first.

Nope never again!!! The appointment for my daughter was at 3pm and at 4:40pm I walked by and said it should be 15 more minutes. No thank you my daughters finishing up at Chanel! Rude people at Mac! This is your busiest weekend, Mother day and prom. Not the smartest move on management to only schedule a hand full girls.

I’m surprised to see the bad reviews about this place. I prefer coming here over fashion fair to get a little more one on one with the makeup artists. They are friendly, attentive and very helpful at this mac counter. I told them the finish of foundation I was looking for and they listened and made my skin look exactly how I wanted.

The«ladies» at this store are far more annoying than helpful. The repulsive attitudes don’t help either, it’s a shame none of them wear name tags but I suppose it doesn’t matter since this applies to nearly all of them.

Ok you need to know this about me, I am BIG on good customer service, Not over-the-top service, just decent act-like-you-care about your customers kind of service. This should have been written months ago when this happened, but didn’t know about Unilocal back then. So on that particular day I decided to treat myself to some expensive make-up, which is something I have rarely done. Growing up in the era of Maybelline and Cover Girly(remember Cheryl Tiegs anyone) expensive make-up was not something I even thought about. Fast forward to now and I find myself thinking about anything at whatever cost to make my skin look youthful and radiant. That’s what aging does to you, holding out hope that the answer to our problems lie in those bottles, compacts, magic applicators and brushes. Oh Lordy will I ever come to my senses again? Ok, back to that day, when I decided I would try the Mac Cosmetic line that I had heard so much about, I was eager to find the right potion that would transform my face back to the one I remember, the face that was heading out to dance in my disco dress and and lit-up high heels… As I am approaching the counter I see the gals in their black smocks and sparkly, bright blue eyeshadow! What the heck is going on with these gals i thought. Trying not to stare too much I waited to be approached, somewhat concerned that maybe this was the wrong place to be. And yes it definitely was! No one approached me, what they didn’t want to make a sale to someone who could possibly stump them on maybe not having a product that could work for me? Don’t know, all I know is that i had to ask for help! Finally when someone did come my way, she was the worst sales gal i have ever had. Her attitude was terrible. She had a snobbish way about her and acted as though I was taking her away from applying another layer of that god-awful eyeshadow. The other 2 gals there were no better. What is going on here I thought, have all the chemicals and dyes from the make-up taken over your brains? What else could it be? I was just asking questions about their products and I get short, concise answers with zero personalities. I left there feeling short changed and stupid, stupid because I did buy a product even though I hated the service. Never again will I make that mistake. Why do people like that get into sales? Everyone knows that to be good in sales you have to be pleasant or a good B.S.‘r at least… I know… could it be that they weren’t even human… they were wearing that sparkly blue out-of-this world shadow afterall… hmmm
