FOUR different lite beers on tap. I could probably stop there, but let me complete the picture. Barely edible food, our server taking shots with some of the patrons when the manager wasn’t looking, terrible service, and a crowd that reeked of despair and botox.
Super fun.

The all around atmosphere is pretty gloomy while coming in here. It is excessively dark in the whole place. I have been to my fair share of bar and grills and even pubs overseas in England. They were never this dark and foreboding. I even traveled to local places that greeted me with more warmth. The décor looks plain and incomplete. Then again it was difficult to tell because I felt I was travelling in a dungeon. Eventually though the mood was appropriate as a live band was brought onto the stage. They were entertaining, opening up with a song from Michael Jackson.
The service is a little awkward. We did come with a party. What I did see was just seemed like mass confusion. I saw a man in jeans and a blazer drop off food while his waiter was busy with other customers. Instead of handing out the food while it is still warm, the man in the blazer and jeans just left the food on the pool table. Three minutes pass by and then the man in the blazer finally tells his waiter, after pacing back and forth, that there was food behind him. The waiter did finally turned around and passed out the food. Later on, as we are still waiting for our food, there seemed to be confusion on orders with our group. We were asked several times if we had a certain order and we replied kindly no. I do understand the issues with such a big crowd, but I don’t believe it was the fault of the waiters. I continued to see instances through out the night that men in nice suites clothes would just leave people’s food out on the pool table without a waiter in sight. I don’t know what kind of training this is for floor leads and supervisors but it is unsatisfactory to see this type of operating procedure.
The food I would assume would be the saving grace. It can also just be a bad night. I ordered a siracha burger and my significant other ordered the poutine. The poutine was good. The dollop of sour cream threw me off a little bit, but it added an extra new flavor to the whole dynamic. It was like tasting a baked potato in french fry form. My siracha burger on the other hand was disappointing. I did not taste any siracha at all. Not even an inkling of taste. The other comparison problem in have is that to the burger kids meal. We ordered a burger kids me for our little one. I looked at the burger sizes and they looked the same. The kids meal is half the price of the entrée burger; and the the two meals come with the same things minus condiment differences on burger. Another huge disappointment was just handed to me. Additionally, our ketchup bottles still had the seal on underneath the cap. Again, I leave that up to the supervisors for not training or not checking this small issue.
Grover’s in itself feels like it has let me down. It was so much as the food because food anywhere relates to the mood of the people cooking it. The aspect of the food is ever changing and so I can give the food another chance. The service, not even directed towards me, seems disheveled and lack of responsibility form those in charge. The servers and bussers were great, the dissatisfaction comes from those «over them» that seem to prise themselves to good to interact with customers and serve their food while it is warm and in an inappropriate manner. Granted they don’t know who they go to but sure they would ask the waiter as he is already busy with another customer, or don’t bother taking it the food of yiu can’t finish the job. End of story: waiters good, waiters’ supervisors not good, food decent, atmosphere dungeon.

We love Grover’s especially on a sunny, lovely weather, must find a patio kind of day. Or football is on. Nice patio, spacious bar inside.
Live music on the weekends.
Good place to go for groups and parties.
Outdoor covered bar is a nice touch.
Food is pretty good.
Average prices, if not considered cheap compared to bars down the street.
Usually our bartender/​server is Reed and he is one funny Canadian! Always does a good job taking care of us.
They have pool tables, horseshoes, and a sand volleyball court.
Check it out for a Sunday funday.

Grovers has grwat food and music. I will definitely go again. The only complaint was it was loud. My ears had that hollow feeling a bit when I left. Otherwise everything was fantastic!

Updating review because they cancelled the poker game. The food and service was tolerable with a card game to keep it interesting, but they have taken a lot of fun out of the place with this.
Monday cards was my favorite way to start the week off, and they cut it out.

Service is ALWAYS slow and the majority of the staff seems to be inconvenienced when asked for something. Not my favorite place:(it’s a shame bc the décor, music, and location is great.

I came back at the request to make things right. Of course always give a second chance. It was much better the 2^nd time. Staff was prompt and very friendly. Other patrons seem to be having a great time. I brought a friend in with me this time to show them what a neat place it was. I did like the atmosphere the first time just felt a little like an outsider. I spoke to the owner Keith after the first visit he explained a few things that was going on the first night and made it right the 2^nd time. I don’t live here however i know a lot of people from here and i will come back and recommend this place to everyone i know from around here. And now open until 2am Wednesday — Saturday that’s even better not many places around here are open past 12am. Biker Wednesdays I LOVE those bikes!!!

It’s great people watching and always seem to have decent Live Bands. Average priced beer $ 4 Domestic Draft 6 oz and a 22 oz is $ 5, Sorry not sure about nothing else, we are beer drinkers.

Nice place in Frisco that I never knew was there.
Plenty of parking, lots of seating but there was a band and it filled up quickly. Thought the band was advertised as going on at 8:30 but it was more like 10:30. 8:30 was just the right time to snag the last two seats at the bar! They do take reservations though so keep that in mind. Super friendly bartenders, JoJo took care of us for a few hours.
Ordered the fried pickles and they were okay. little bready but still good. Definitely will be keeping an eye out for what live bands they have playing in the future!

Be VERY careful! Oversold for tribute band show. Tickets were SRO and NOWHERE did it say to reserve table. Poor waitstaff was over worked, kitchen couldn’t keep up — just bad experience ALL on management. Bands were good and staff did their best. Very poor management!

What a pleasant experience. The food was very good and the drinks were even better. Met a very funny bartender named Mike who was very knowledgeable and personable. I recommend the face eraser if you get the chance. Definitely coming back!!!

My wife and I just left Grovers, and it was excellent. I have lived in the area for years, but had not tried this place out since it opened from being another place. We had a late lunch/​early Happy Hour. We sat at the bar and drank a few beers while we ate, and listened to music. The bartender was friendly and took great care of us. We look forward to returning on a weekend night, since we found out they have a good variety of live bands.

Great drinks, fun laid back atmosphere… but the food is sub par, nothing amazing but decent if you are super hungry.

We came to watch friends play volley ball. Food was normal bar food but the drinks were great. Everyone was outside and by the volley ball courts, the inside is large and for a Tuesday night, very empty. Hungry? Come here, tables are ready! LOL

The manager just did me a major solid and could not have been cooler. Thanks Reid. I am looking forward to finally getting to check this place out! Superior customer service!

Fantastic Cajun spicy meatloaf dinner was fantastic! Great vibe. Will definitely be back!

So early but looks cool. Live music is always a plus. Games in the back and i hear the food is pretty solid. Crowd is mixed blue and white collar. I’m wearing a sport coat but don’t feel over dressed. Guy next to me is wearing a mechanic outfit. All good. Band is up!

Found out they just re-​opened, nice enough place, great bar, lots of TV’s and an outdoor patio with gas lamps for the smoking crowd

Looks 2 Kill band was the nuts !!! Everything else on Unilocal is true, however, if you know that going in… get the chicken nachos and they are ok for a terrible menu!!!

I’ve heard bad things about Grover’s and have avoided it on purpose. That changed when some friends invited us to check out the Mullet Boyz.
The layout is pretty nice. Tons of tables and seating. They also have a great patio. We might have to come back when it’s warmer to check it out.
The sound system was good and the music sounded great. The band put on a great show.
We didn’t try the food, but we definitely drank a lot of beer. The night we were there they served the draft beer in solo cups. I thought that was a but weird but whatever. Our bill seemed pretty reasonable.
I’ll give Grover’s a cautious 3 stars. We’ll probably go back to check out other bands.
