History

Established in 2013.

The Texas Tie Guy grew out of my personal desire to look great, feel better and to dress for success. Your image is our business and we want to ensure that we are doing our part. We started in Detroit, Michigan as The Spence Group, LLC and changed to our current name in 2013. I had been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and during meetings, gatherings and social events I often saw a need for someone’s appearance to be improved and wondered how could I assist this person in looking the part thus bringing about a presentation that get results and screams professionalism. It is my firm belief that people perceive appearance as ability, and with that being said we want you to be able to achieve and do anything in your potential client’s eyes.

My name is Darrell Spence and I am the owner of The Texas Tie Guy. We carry quality products at affordable prices and our goal is to build a accessory management company second to none, one that you can both depend on and trust. I was a part of the financial services industry for more than 20 years and it was always important to me to put my best foot forward by dressing for success no matter what level I was currently at within a given organization. I also serve as a Licensed Minister and Ordained Elder in the Pentecostal Church as well as being a father and husband. It is my intent to do business ethically and fairly with all.
