I’m so sad the closed 2 stores to open this location. This location never has anything I need for needlepoint crafts. Just the basics that all other locations have. The check out line is extremely slow. I’m not a fan of Hobby Lobby, but they have what I need everytime.

at any craft store the employees can really make or break the business. every employee here was helpful and pleasant. kevin rang me up and is an absolute treat. wish i got the names of the other two workers because they were awesome as well. honestly thats why i dont go to michaels anymore, the workers are not usually helpful and seem to dislike being there. this specific joanns workers are knowledgeable and were more than willing to answer my questions. love you guys!

Slowest cut counter EVER! Don’t get me wrong the associates are very nice and attentive but they have absolutely no concept of urgency. They should all be sent to the Buena Park store and taught how to be nice, attentive, and fast.

I tend to favor this particular Jo-Ann’s. They’re very friendly and approachable(staff). My experience has been that they really go out of their way to find what you need. I quilt and make cards. The quilter’s notions section has a very decent variety. I know brands and they don’t carry all of the brands(for instance: basting spray) but you can find 85% of what you need at the store on Yorba Linda in Fullerton. They also have tons of cardstock and tools. It’s a nice newer looking store with great lighting.(I have been to some really dingy looking Joann’s which were very tightly aisled for difficult maneuvering. This Joann’s is huge and well designed… :)

Always very satisfied when I come to this Joanne’s. Brenda helped me and she so awesome. I had some tough questions that I was a bit hard to answer but Brenda helped me through everything! Helped me get exactly what I needed! We need more people like Brenda in retail, super helpful! Will definatly be back!

Good for arts and crafts projects especially Halloween and other holidays. Plane colored t shirts are the greatest price. I’ll go back for this stuff.

They have toooooons of stuff. I’m more of a Michael’s fan, but if I ever need anything related to sewing or working on new DIY projects involving fabric I’ll definitely come to Jo-Anns They have different sewing classes available and offer classes on how to use a sewing machine. Pretty much 45% of their store is fabric, duh. They offer different materials, different prints, and multiple fabric options with classic characters on them. They had fabric with sport teams label, comic book characters, different Disney characters including Star Wars, Hello Kitty, and so many other options. During the holidays they have awesome prints and fabrics, especially during Halloween! They also have some«build your own blanket» bundles, perfect for gifts! If you have a missing button or you need to repair your favorite jeans, check out Jo-Anns! I will admit, I still prefer Michael’s for any DIY projects. Jo-Ann’s Halloween or holiday decoration isn’t too extensive, but then again it’s a fabric store.

A few years back I went to the Placentia store. It was a very bad experience, dealing with grumpy employees in a cramped little store. I refused to ever go back. When I needed some vinyl for a project, I saw there was a «new» store in Fullerton and headed over. Unfortunately I did not know it was the new location for the Placentia store. It is very clean and large, I will say that. It is true to get stuff cut they have a numbering system, but no sign to tell people to pick a number or where they might do that. So after we figured it out, as we waited we told each bewildered person who showed up to «wait in line» that, no, there was this number system and pointed them to the number dispenser that is fort of hidden behind a sign advertising starch replacement spray or something. We got our number, 28 when the number was on 22 and waited our turn to get some vinyl cut. They move very, very slowly! More and more people started to wait around the tables, sitting in the sewing machine section and standing in the fabric isles. There are about four cutting stations. Even with all those people waiting one employee announced it was her break, she was closing her station. Her break was apparently more important than all these customers! Down to three cutting stations. About 20 minutes in 28 comes up, lucky day. We haul our vinyl to the table and the young lady says, no she won’t cut that we have to wait for another table. An older, gray haired, tall woman(who never smiled at anyone ever not once) glares at us from another cutting station and tells us that only she will cut it and there is a back up, we have to wait. Wait for how long? I do not know. Wait for what? I do not know. What I know if I do not have to wait for anything. Good bye. I know I recognize that older tall women. She looked so unhappy. Did she work in Placentia back in the day I swore of that place? You can order this stuff cheaper on Amazon.

It’s more like a Michaels now. I as well thought there would be more of a fabric selection, but found even less of a selection than when it was in Placentia. Too bad. It’s almost like a glorified Wal-Mart fabric section.

I love this Jo-Ann store! I’ve gone to a couple of other ones, some as new as this one and some 10+ years older, and I must say that this one is my go-to favorite one so far! There are a lot of selections placed in neat and easy to find places and if you can’t find something the staff is nice and friendly :) This Jo-Ann is kind of far from where I live but I think it’s worth the drive. Definitely recommend!

I’m sorry to say this store makes me sad. It appears they took the same stock from the old store and dropped it in the larger, prettier store. I was really hoping that they would have the fabric selection similar to the Glendale store. That store is awesome. Think Mood Fabrics, Jo-Ann’s!!! Same goes with your yarn selection. Hobby lobby out-does you with the yarn. …Also, Jo-Ann’s magazine rack is in the queue area. So, if you want to browse the magazine’s you are uncomfortable and can hardly do that because there are people waiting to be served with their baskets and carts.

I recently visited this new location for Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft, and all I can saw is WOW! The store is beautifully organized and the merchandise is easy to find and perfectly arranged. There is a number system, so that you can pull a number and continue shopping while you are waiting to have your fabric cut. The employees are incredibly helpful and very nice. I was also really impressed with the amount of crafting supplies and generous coupons. I will definitely be back.
