Springfield was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! We rented the Rose Ballroom and had our cocktail hour in the front lobby. Michael and Shelly were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. We came in several times for walk-​throughs and they always made themselves available to answer our questions and provide suggestions for the ideas we had. They were very responsive to getting back to us within a few days for any requests we had.
For being on a budget this place is especially awesome with all the flexible packages they offer. We brought in our own caterer, rentals, lighting, and band – transforming the look of the room. Our catering staff worked side by side with the Spring Field staff and all went off without a hitch. The only issue was had was there were long drink lines because our guests were ordering mostly specialty drinks – so just a heads up to ensure you’re properly staffed if you had a large group like we did.
This place is great at accommodating large groups and with the stage it was perfect for our live band. The dance floor was packed the entire night. What’s also nice is that they give you the flexibility to extend your reception to late in the evening – ours went till after 11pm so we didn’t have to stop the dancing early. We even had late night food served which was a hit!
Overall, we loved Spring Field as a venue as it allowed for us to invite a large guest list and have a dancing party till late in the night while not breaking the bank!

Highly over rated. Went to a ladies tea party upstairs. They charge 20 bucks for finger sandwiches and cold tea that doesnt stay hot. They had no music and the decore was so so. They had a rack of nice hats that you could put on for the english tea party.
The deserts looked huge in photos of what I have seen of this place. the reality was these minuscule bite sized nothings. The croissant sandwiches were ok, again they were tiny bite sized and I guess they ran out of food for some of the guests. for that kind of money I would have much rather gone to Tokyo buffet in Brea. That meal with the cold luke warm tea was only worth 10 bucks at best. Shoot even applebees you can get a steak for 12 bucks. They made this place sound like it was in a high society country club.

I don’t even know where to begin with how great this place was! I have been a wedding coordinator myself for years and was excited when my own daughter was getting married. So I have very high standards. Springfield was simply AMAZING and so easy to work with! Michael was exceptional in service, kindness and wanting to meet all our expectations! When we needed something he was there for suggestions and problem solving. He and his staff worked as a well oiled machine and was so pleasant! Details were paid attention to and my daughter got the wedding of her dreams! Also, the facility photographs amazing! My photographer was in heaven! TOP POINTS and recommendations for this place!!! I was here yesterday for the first time coordinating a wedding. This banquet center is beautiful! They have various banquet rooms all for different occasions. My favorite was the tea party room! What I liked the most about this place is that they have a separate room for the wedding ceremony. This is perfect for those weddings during the hot summers/​freezing winters (which are rare). Yesterday I worked closely with Michael, Charlie, and 2 young ladies whom I can’t remember there name. Michael was amazing! He was there all night and answered all the questions I had and has the best personality ever! Thank you Michael for your hard work last night! Charlie was the set up guy which also was very helpful with all the last minute changes we had with tables and what not. The 2 ladies in the office were also very nice and helpful! Overall I recommend this place for your next event! Make sure you ask for Michael! :)

Easy to get started to book the room and food and cake tasting! Caterer and cake vendor are contracted to other companies but all three were wonderful and so helpful. All their staff were pleasant to work with!
Cannot say enough good things about this place!

We just had our wedding here at the carnation hall and had a blast. The staff knows what customer service really means and allowed for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to flow smoothly.
The only down side is that the interior could use a little updating, but the customer service completely makes up for it. 5 stars all the way.
Thank you springfield staff for making our wedding day memorable. If you’re on a budget but still want an all inclusive wedding this is the place to be. They do everything from the set up, chairs, tablescaping, alcohol, food, cake, dessert, all the way to the breakdown and clean up. All you need to do is order flowers and a photographer and you’re pretty much set.

I had my wedding here a little over 3 weeks ago!
I can’t thank the staff there enough for everything! I dealt with Shelly, Melissa and Michael! Michael was amazing from start to finish. He coordinated my wedding the day of and I could not thank him enough for keeping everything in order, on schedule and accommodating us for everything! He really made my wedding day so stress free and made sure everything was perfect! My husband and I looked around at so many places, and when with a guest list at 250 it was almost gonna be impossible to find something less than $ 15,000! We came across this place and it was so nice, we rented the bottom room (I think it was called the carnation room) for our ceremony and the rose ballroom for our reception and it was so reasonable in price and beautiful. And we had the entire place to ourselves! The price included your linens, set up and clean up, waiters and much more! Since I booked alittle over a year in advance we were able to make monthly payments which was wonderful! We were able to bring in our own catering as well! Their waiters walked around the whole reception taking empty plates, filling water etc., they did an amazing job as well and were so friendly! Overall we had an amazing time, and I cannot thank the staff, especially Michael for everything! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is horrible!!! I had my wedding there in December and it was a disaster. The whole planing process with Michael was the only thing I have can say wasn’t horrible. First they over booked their hall the day of my event, so there was not enough parking for my guest after they assured us that parking was not an issue. Also, guest from other parties were using the bathrooms on the floor that was for my party and were coming into the balcony overlooking our party as well using the terrace to set up hookahs. The balcony and terrace were part of my package and staff did nothing to stop them. Finally, the food. We went with the Mexican menu and what we were serverd for our tasting looked nothing like what was severed that day. The food was horrible, cold and sloppy! The owners Shelly and her husband were rude when invoiced my concerns! This place is over all horrible!

Wedding ruined by party down stairs!
Had a wedding on the second floor, there was a party on the first floor, the sound from the first floor echoed in the wedding hall, none of the guests could hear the vows, the floor under our feet was shaking! When we asked the staff to have the party lower the music at least for the vows, it never happened, couldn’t even enjoy the wedding ceremony, videos, or even concentrate!
During the reception the best man and woman speeches were ruined, no one could hear them all because of the party underneath us (couple dance, father/​mother dance, garder toss, bouquet toss all had to compete with the sound from underneath)
There was a food monitor at the dining line who appeared to be more concerned about making sure no extra food was served to any guests.
The chair covers that were on the chairs were dirty and stained the table cloths were the same!
The wedding was beautiful from what I saw but I’m sure all the audio and video from the wedding will be ruined for the newly weds when they get the video.
Shame on the management for not taking care of the problem. After about 10 people complained about it to them!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here last month. We were so happy with Michael and Melissa. Our guests had a great time and the venue looked great. Thank you to the team at Spring Field for a great overall experience. You definitely need to check out this venue for your next event.

Yesterday, we hosted our daughter’s wedding reception at Springfield. Michael, Shelly, the wait staff exceeded our expectations. They were professional and accommodating. We used the Carnation Room for cocktail hour and the Rose Ballroom for the banquet and festivities. All of our guests had a fantastic time. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere. We highly recommend them.

Shelly and her staff were wonderful! We rented both the Carnation Hall for our ceremony and the Rose Ballroom for the reception. I also have gone to the Spring Tea Room for afternoon tea a few times as well and love it. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We booked the indian food package (subcontracted to Ashoka in Artesia) and everyone LOVED the food. The cake was amazing too (carrot cake by Amazing Cake Creations in Orange). The lighting was done in-​house and looked awesome for an evening wedding. I don’t have anything negative to say about our wedding at this venue!

If you are looking for a great venue at a great price you need to stop by have a look.
I have Dj’s many events in and around So Ca for over 15 years now and have found this venue to be one of the best for all types of events.
I first work at the Spring Field back in 2004 and since then have seen many improvements to the venue. I found the staff ever easy to work with and willing to do whatever it takes to keep everyone happy and having a great time.
Unlike other venues, the Spring Field has 2 main areas for events over 200 guests and a couple others for small events. The main ballroom «Rose» feels like a Great Ballroom. The Rose Room has very high ceiling with a large balcony which overlooks the main hall. This is a great place for guest to stand and have a nice time and yet see everything that is going on below. The balcony also has an outdoor balcony area for those many days when the evenings are great time outside.
As a Dj, love the acoustic of this Hall. The sound travels around the hall without me needing to push the volume. The architecture also helps in the acoustic of the hall but also adds to the overall look. In addition, if you plan on using up lighting, this hall really comes alive.
If you are planning an event it is well worth your time to stop by and have a look.

Came here to DJ an event for a group from Cal State Fullerton. Great venue with a good sized banquet hall — had enough room for about 10 round tables without a dance floor (we had to move the tables to make space).
Just a note to anyone who ends up using this place: the sound system is atrocious. This place has probably one of the weakest in-​house systems I’ve ever heard in a banquet hall that’s quite pricey. If you’re hiring a DJ and you’re going to have a wedding banquet or other event here, make sure you use their mic and not the ones from this venue. Other than that though, a solid location.

From the moment I walked into the Springfield, I completely fell in LOVE! As you walk into the venue it ALWAYS has this AMAZINGLY fresh vanilla smell and has this peaceful ambiance it truly is a BEAUTIFUL venue.
On November 10, 2013, my fiancé and I held our wedding for 150 people in the Carnation room. The ENTIRE staff at the Springfield (Shelly especially) were GREAT and a pleasure to work with, they were more than helpful and completely professional through the entire process (answering questions, accommodating changes, taking care of every detail from beginning to end) The day of our wedding EVERYTHING was perfect and exactly how I envisioned it.

i had my wedding ceremony and reception here, both in the same room, the Carnation Hall. My husband and I have been helped by Shelly, Michael, Mayra and some others and they have all been good on answering questions and moving things around per request.
We chose this place due to cost and location. As anyone will know by simply googling the cost of a typical wedding, the average price is around $ 20k. Thankfully, with SFBC, we have spent less than half of that.
Some nice perks with this place is, other than the friendly staff, everything you would need such as cake, food, beverages, tables, chairs, utensils, cups, and linen were all inclusive! And Shelly is a florist too (although we had our own family friend florist do the arrangements for us)
Here we got to do the food tasting and cake tasting, which was fun and we received compliments from our guests about the food too.
It really helped that Michael was our event coordinator. I would’ve been lost without him! He also worked with our DJ to help move things along to schedule and their staff went up to our guests’ tables to let them know when to get up for the buffet which helped a lot! The staff was very prompt with cleanup as well too and even helped put away our florist’s arrangements.

The only reason this place didn’t get one star in my book is because I’m feeling nice today and two is all I can give without lying to everyone.
The sound system was non-​existent (the sound went out about 20 seconds into the wedding procession), the lighting in the main reception area is gaudy and dim. The rooms for the wedding parties to get ready in were not set up at all.
The food was just ok but for all the of service they didn’t provide, they made sure there was one at the food line making sure no more was served than the allotted amount (think «Soup Nazi» from Seinfeld).
The service was terrible by the staff at this place. No one was there to help and when we did find someone, they got flustered and gave us the bare minimum attention.
I would not recommend this place for events, any occasions, etc.
Btw, it was not my wedding. I was there as the wedding photographer so my experience is not from the first person perspective of the bride or groom but I did witness them get really upset and angry (to the point of yelling) at the poor service they received here. I don’t blame them for getting upset.

Simply put, this place is AWESOME if you’re looking for an affordable venue for your wedding. I used their Carnation Hall for my wedding on June 22, 2012 for about 100 guests and it was perfect.
My now husband and I have shopped around various venues around Southern California. Every time we went to see a venue, we were discouraged at the quotes these venues were giving us. For guest count of 100, these venues were quoting us in the $ 20,000s. Sure it was inclusive, but still. Waaaaay over what we wanted to pay for. We just felt that spending too much money in a day of partying wasn’t worth it. We’d rather spend that money on a down payment of a house. So many times we just wanted to elope and do a court wedding to keep the cost minimal.
Then I heard from couple of my friends mentioning how wedding at Spring Field Banquet Center is affordable. We had nothing to lose so we went to check the place out. Initially our headcount was 50 guests, so we were shown the Azalea room. Small but cute and intimate. Then we started listing out the guests we wanted to invite, and the headcount increased to 100. Then we were shown the Carnation Hall and it was perfect.
We decided to have the wedding on a Friday night since the cost would be cheaper. We just wanted to cut the cost anywhere we can. Then we also decided to have the ceremony and reception in the same room, with the same table setting. This also removed extra cost of having to rent another room. This actually worked well for us since we wanted to go right into dinner after the ceremony. (Which means no need for h’orderves) Though on the actual day, we had a 30minute intermission to freshen up. We brought our own alcohol so we just had to pay for the bartender and a security guard. We went with the chicken (chicken princess is amazing) & roast beef option for the dinner.
In total, we ended up spending less than $ 6000 for final headcount of 110 guests. This includes venue, linens, clean up, food, bartender, security guard, and the service fees.
My aunt and her friends who worked on the decoration and flowers were also raving about how accommodating the staff at Spring Field were.
In summary…
— Pricing is very affordable (Cheaper pricing on Fridays and even cheaper pricing if you have ceremony and reception in the same room)
— Staff are very accommodating
— Food was delicious (Chicken Princess is so good!)
— All inclusive
— Big parking lot
If you are a bride that is having second thoughts about having a wedding due to cost, look no further. Spring Field Banquet Center is the best you can get for its price.
Also to note, if you are using any candle, you will need to get a fire permit prior to the wedding date.

My wedding was such a success yesterday (4−22−12). I had tons of hiccups including issues with my makeup people being 2 hours late, which put us behind schedule. But I knew i had absolutely nothing to worry about because I was in the best hands with Mayra.
I booked the Rose ballroom for my reception, balcony & patio for my cocktail and Carnation for my ceremony. I can’t believe how accommodating Mayra, Shelly, Michael and the entire staff were with me through the last 10 months.
I am such an anal bride, I have a 2 inch binder completely filled with excel sheets, timelines, costs and what not. Mayra worked with me on everything, and I mean every single little detail and exactly as I wanted it. (Thank you Mayra for going the extra mile to make my wedding such a success yesterday).
The staff made sure everything was in place the day before at my rehearsal as well as the day of my wedding. Mayra worked out everything including working with my schedule and making sure everything went smoothly.
Michael spent an extra amount of time with me on Saturday during my rehearsal to pick the right lighting for my wall wash. He also assisted my videographer and photographer to setup the correct audio equipment accessories that they needed. Thank you for getting all the audio setup, my dj had everything he needed yesterday during the ceremony!
The staff was so courteous, including all the bartenders we hired.
The catering company they use here is so phenom! I can’t believe how good the food was, although as the bride i didn’t get to eat much, everyone was telling me after.
This place is perfect little hidden gem, so many of my friends were saying they drive by all the time and were in awe as to how gorgeous this place was.
The vintage feel to the warm and wonderful staff really put me at ease the day of my wedding.
As I finished cleaning up for the evening, Mayra stayed till the very end making sure I had everything I needed before leaving. The staff was quite helpful as well :) I would recommend this place to any potential bride because once you take a look at the Rose ballroom, you’ll fall in love with this place!
