I had such a great experience here! The procedure was fast and hardly any pain at all. The staff is so friendly as well. Ashley made me feel very comfortable and at ease since I was so nervous for the procedure. She definitely made me feel like I was in good hands and I can’t thank her enough for that! She knows what she’s doing! Thank you Dr. Miyamoto, Ashley, and everyone else you made the experience very comforting!

Amazing experience! Had no swelling. well very minimal! I was afraid I’d be a chipmunk and be bedridden… but it was easy peezy! The doc is nice and is genuine. He even called a couple days after to see how I was doing. Will be going in for a follow up soon. that got a bit confusing bc I swear they said it was on Friday but then someone said they don’t open on fri? Uh it says u guys do and plus I had my surgery on a friday… idk what that’s all about. But going in Monday. Thank you!

This review is long overdue! I went to see them early February for a decayed wisdom tooth (my last one since child hood) and I did not even realize how fast the procedure would take! I felt like I was in the chair for about 30 seconds from when they started that I spent more time waiting for the novocaine to take effect … which it did! Once I was numbed up, they started and as mentioned, pretty much to what felt like an instant, they were done.
Beforehand Dr. Miyamoto went over what he was going to do and how the healing process would be like or could be like. From that description of the removal process, it sounded like it would take potentially an hour. If I had blinked I probably have missed it but it was painless (till the numbness wore off then it was just very sore).
From the front office staff to the assistants, everyone was great and welcoming. I had insurance but even if I did not, the break down on the pricing for everything seemed really inexpensive! I felt like for what I was having done, getting my teeth cleaned would be more expensive at the regular dentist office.
I do hope that I will not have to make another visit to them but if I ever need any oral surgery done, they are my first and only choice!

Since my last negative review, Dr. Miyamoto and his team have reached out to me to address my complaints and to see how they could resolve the issue. In my last review I was very upset and frustrated with this dental office when my appointment was cancelled for being 10 minutes late, as I had to take many steps to make the appointment happen.
In speaking with the Dr. Miyamoto and his staff, they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and to ensure customer satisfaction. I am extremely impressed at how this office handles customer complaints and I look forward to my continued business with them.

Dr. Miyamoto took out my wisdom teeth for me. It was a great and easy experience. He answered all my questions and the staff was nice. I definitely recommend this office.

I saw Dr. Miyamoto for a lesion that was on my lip a couple of months back. He informed me that he could use a laser to help the healing time. It sounded a little scary at first, but I was willing to try anything to get rid of this. I was extremely nervous, but he and his assistants informed me it would not hurt a bit. They were right! It was the easiest procedure and it definitely helped with the healing time!
I also had a cyst removed about a year ago (at another office) and now I am having Dr Miyamoto handle any further treatment I may need. The staff was able to take a panoramic x-​ray and a CT scan in the office. He was able to see how the bone growth is healing in the area the cyst was previously removed. He took the time to check all of my old CT scans and x-​rays and answered all of my questions.
I will have to return to have it evaluated again, but Dr. Miyamoto is definitely worth every penny!

I had two front teeth removed years ago when I did a face plant as a young kid. A dentist performed a root canal and at some point I hit it by accident and they had to be removed. It was replaced by a bridge that lasted for years until one of the anchor teeth broke. At 60 years old I met with Dr. Miyamoto to have implants inserted. Being front teeth and with very little margin for error, Dr. Miyamoto has made it work and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The implants have integrated into my bone and feel better than my other teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Miyamoto and his staff. Heather and Torry are great!

Wisdom teeth extractions might sound scary, but I’ve had the best experience with Dr.Miyamoto. His staff is so friendly and nice. I was obviously nervous when they were going to put me to sleep, but all the people around me made me feel much better. Everything went smoothly and I didn’t even get my cheeks swollen (yay!). I came back in a week for a check up and found out that I had a dry socket (pretty painful). They treated it right away and the pain was gone in less than an hour. If I ever need an oral surgeon again, I will definitely come back.

Great Office! My 13 year old son had to have 4 teeth extracted. Of course, he was very nervous about the surgery and what to expect. Dr. Miyamoto and staff were very reassuring along the way. They took the time to answer all of our questions. My son was especially nervous about going under anesthesia and they let him know that everything would be Okay and that it would all be over before he realized it. All the staff are very genuine and kind hearted. It was especially pleasant to receive a phone call the evening of the surgery from Dr. Miyamoto himself. He called to check how my son was doing. So impressed that he took the time do that. This is a wonderful place!

Without a doubt, Dr. Miyamoto is the most consummate — and skilled — professional that I have ever had the pleasure of receiving dental care from.
After having four wisdom teeth extracted, while anesthetized (much more pleasant than having been lucid for the process, I reckon’), I awoke to his magnificent team of assistants, who made every step of the process comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable — and I certainly never thought I’d refer to a dentist visit as ‘enjoyable’! Dr. Miyamoto called that evening, long after every other dentist heads home, to ensure that I was feeling well and if he could do anything further to help me in getting along with the healing process. Yet — while that, in and of itself, is above and beyond — its just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
I had over a month of rather severe complications with the bottom sockets on both sides — complications which, with most dentists, would mean serious, ongoing expenses. Dr. Miyamoto went beyond simply standing by his work: he saw me for follow-​up work in his office, at least a half-​dozen times (including on very, short notice) — at no expense to me — even performing surgery to drain a persistent infection in my jaw.
To recapitulate, in the simplest terms: this is absolutely the only dentist you should trust your health to when you need any serious surgery: you’ll be in good hands from the moment you enter to the moment you are fully healed. If you go anywhere else, you are doing yourself no small disservice!
Also, a very, special «thank you» to Sue, Heather, Ashley, Lisset, Renee, and Torrie! Beyond being genuinely warmhearted and caring folks, you are all truly brilliant at your profession. It is an understatement to say that Dr. Miyamoto emulates the age-​old wisdom of employing only impeccable support: you have thoroughly raised the bar on what constitutes a ‘5-​star team’!

Dr. Miyamoto is awesome! Both of my daughters have had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Miyamoto at separate times. I was a little worried because both my daughters wisdom teeth were impacted and they both need all four teeth removed. Needless to say, everything went beautifully for both and they were done in less than an hour! Also the office staff are amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Miyamoto and his entire staff. Sorry I don’t remember all the names, but everyone I have come in contact with has been wonderful! Dr. Miyamoto was very kind and patient. The staff was courteous and professional. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

I went in for a consult and first I must say their office is the cleanest and visual pleasing dental or drs office I’ve ever walked into. Their front staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to too. Their assistants were also nice and knowledgable about the procedures as I had to have multiple things done including a CT scan. The rooms are very neat and clean and the chairs are plush like a comfortable arm chair. They also have a flatscreen in front of you to show you what’s going on. Dr Miyamoto was very kind and thorough with his consult and insisted I keep in contact with my progress. He laid out a plan for treatment and walked me through. Overall a great experience.

Dr. Miyamoto and his staff are great! I would recommend anyone who needs an oral surgeon to come to Dr. Miyamoto for treatment.

I really appreciate Dr. Miyamoto taking the time to respond to my complaint about the bill. I was initially caught of guard with the letter, and I do understand that mistakes, such as this one, can happen. I still had a wonderful experience with this office prior to the billing mistake, and so I have no problem updating my review with a full five stars.

I have been to many specialists. In fact, I went to three dentists before I was referred to Dr. Miyamoto. I have never received the outstanding care, compassion and detailed explanation of the procedure I would be having performed as I did from Dr. Miyamoto. I was very frightened about having this care because I had a very negative experience with a previous oral surgeon.
Dr. Miyamoto is not only brilliant, but also explains details in a manner which even the most anxious patient is able to understand. With his positive outlook and surgical skill, it was really almost a pleasure to have this surgery yesterday.
As one would expect, his staff was caring, gentle, and answered all questions, which calmed me concerning the many concerns I had. These qualities make all the difference in the world to a very concerned and frightened patient. One staff member even told me she loves her job and always treats others as she wishes to be treated. This was certainly evident in the behavior exhibited towards me. I think like attracts like and Dr. Miyamoto would only have the finest staff available.
I highly recommend Dr. Miyamoto and can honestly say he is the best specialist I have had the fortune to have been blessed in finding for my oral surgery care. I will also recommend him highly for my friends and family should they need the type of care he provides. He is truly one in a million!

New Office New Equipment same great staff and service!
My dentist told me I had 2 choices with my molar either remove it and crown it and have a cavity come back again… I chose the removal but my dentist told me I would have to go to a professional who specialized.
I contacted Dr Miyamoto’s office and let them know I had some Insurance and also what I needed and had my dentist email them X-​Rays.
Upon office arrival everything was smooth from checking in to talking to his staff.
When Dr came in the office I discussed with him some options that some of my friends recommended to me after getting my tooth extracted I wanted to know about implants and how he would put an implant in if I had a sinus cavity right there blocking the way.
He clearly showed me my options and even showed how it would be done with animated videos of what would be done and the options.
I couldn’t believe how thorough he was with this…
He numbed up my gums and extracted the tooth and recommended I take some medications (Strong Pain Reliever and also a Ibuprofen) Ibuprofen was also to help the swelling stay down…
I am not sure if it is his method or I am lucky… but I in particular don’t like taking medication unless it is VERY necessary… So I picked them up in case but I never used them… It’s 6 days later and my mouth never swelled and I never felt any pain…
All I can say is GREAT JOB!

I was referred to Dr. Miyamoto from my dentist to have wisdom teeth extraction. I went in for my consultation and the staff was awesome and very thorough with pricing and Dr. Miyamoto was friendly and explained the procedure fully. I went in today and I was very nervous but the staff was so calming, reassuring and answered all of my questions. I had the procedure about 8 hours ago and I am feeling no pain and minimal swelling. Dr. Miyamoto even called me directly this evening to make sure I was doing well and to answer any questions. He said to not hesitate to call him directly if I have any questions or concerns. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Dr. Miyamoto and his staff!

Excellent, friendly staff who are very accommodating. I went in for a consultation, scheduled my surgery, and the actual extraction took less than an hour. They don’t rush you, they answer all your questions, and they calm your nerves if you’re scared like I was. Dr. Miyamoto even called the night of the extraction to make sure everything was ok.
I didn’t have the easiest recovery (it took about 2 weeks until I started feeling like myself again) but that wasn’t by any fault of the doctor. The procedure affects everyone differently and it depends how long the roots of the teeth are. plus I’m just a slow healer. I had some concerns within those first two weeks and they had no problem answering my questions over the phone and having me come in last minute to check that everything was healing okay. The building is nice and there’s a pharmacy inside so you don’t have to make an extra stop.
Oh by the way, don’t forget to get your parking ticket validated!

For those who only read the first line, this dentist is amazing from beginning to end. Having all four wisdom teeth pulled i never thought it could be pleasant experience .
I went in because of their Unilocal reviews and their staff was so sweet even when I walked in .
When I got the consultation they walked me through the process and made me feel so reassured especially with my severe fears of the dentist from the past.
The day of the surgery I was scared and the nurses were so great even tho I knew Its annoying when people cry .
I woke up an hour later and was greeted with a smile and my stuffed animal that I had brought in for comfort.
That same night I received a call from Dr. Miramoto himself which in my eyes is above and beyond .
I would send everyone here if I could !! I can’t say enough great things about this one of a kind dentist office !
