The mulitas were ok. Had the al pastor and the meat seemed to not have much flavor. The burritos were eh. Also didn’t like there salsas.

This place has the best tacos! It’s a small restaurant but the service and food was great! I had four carne asada tacos and my husband had a pastor burrito and we were both very happy with the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Just a heads up. They charge 50 cents if you don’t pay cash.

Ordered 4 kinds of tacos here based on the reviews on Unilocal! Asada Pastor Lengua Tripas All were very well done and seasoned. I’ve never had lengua before so I don’t have a point of reference, but it was good. It had more of a steamed quality about it. The folks inside were friendly but both the cashier and I forgot that I ordered a horchata but that was quickly reconciled after my second taco. I’ll be back and maybe the stars change based on how they do their burritos.

When we zero in on new taco spots, chicken tacos aren’t usually our target.(We’d rather something with more character.) More simply, though, it’s just that chicken tacos tend to be a bit dry, you know? But at Jalisco’s, the chicken tacos are – surprisingly! – juicy and moist! We’ve been to many, many taco venues – in fact, adventured upon Andrew K.‘s legendary Taco Crawls numerous times – and not once, with all the great tasting tacos across OC’s expanse, have we thought to return to any of them for the chicken alone. But Jalisco’s has changed that. I mean, we’ve got favorites, many of them. And Jalisco’s, at least for their chicken tacos, is now one of them.

Awesome place! The vibe is great, service is great and the food is even better. The ambience might not be great for people whom aren’t used to the culture because it can get loud. Regardless, 5⁄5 would drive the 20 mins again.

Damn it every time I order tripas tacos they eff it up and give me something else. Asada, pastor. It’s like they take one look at me and say«what’s this lil Asian know ’bout tripas?» and just give me whatever the hell they want. I’ll have you know Cambodians eat all that weird shit okay so give me my goddamn tripas cuz next I’ll be trying the buche! In an interesting turn of events, this is also how I discovered their al pastor to be pretty amazing so not mad about it cuz I’ve had some bland al pastor in the past. Wish they had carnitas and wish they were open 24 hrs like de Anda or at least open super late cuz I’ve dubbed this my new taco spot. Yehhhhhhhhhhh.

Alright My Fellow Unilocalers! * The food here is pretty Good. Cant go wrong with their Tortas or Tacos de tripa. Haven’t tried anything else here. *Don’t bother trying to call in your order they wont take it if they are busy, and they seem to always be busy. Even tho i just called from the parking lot and was looking right in and they had no one in line.lol. *inside is really small, about 3 tables. order to go or grab a table if your lucky. The reason i didn’t give it a 5 star is cause of the Customer service. the guys at the register is really rude Probably the way he just is. But that’s not me. All in all. Its a pretty good place to stop and some tacos.

So I was craving tacos. If you know me, that’s nothing new with me since I’m a big taco monster. I was on a mission to find tasty tacos near my hood. I had read some of the reviews prior to going. Darn, I didn’t see the mean lady some people have mentioned. This is your typical, no frills taqueria. The menu items are in Spanish. Fortunately for me, I’m pretty fluent when it comes to Mexican food since I grew up in L.A. So I ordered and the tacos came out super fast! I was still putting hot sauce in the to go containers when my order was ready. The tacos come with meats only so if you want cilantro and onions, there’s a salsa/toppings bar where you can add them. They were really good and cheap at $ 1.25 + tax or $ 1.35 with tax each. Normally, I like the salsa roja but at this place, the salsa verde was way better & more flavorful. Nothing bad or good about the service. Just your standard service. Although, I was a little disappointed they didn’t have chips but no big deal, I found a place who serves tasty, cheap tacos less than a mile from my place. Órale!

At a softball tourney and needed a place to eat. This was close and highly rated so we gave it a try. Got our food to go so we packed the salsa and cilantro/onion mix. The green salsa was very tasty with a good kick. The lengua taco and pastor mulita hit the spot. I could have had more! Everyone on the team who went enjoyed what they got. 50 cent surcharge for using a card but at least they accept cards for those who didn’t have cash. I would eat here a lot if I lived close by.

The tacos is very delicious! I come here for the Tacos and their Tortas. Their tacos is way better than Taqueria De Anda and much cheaper too. The Tacos only cost $ 1.25.

I used to frequent this joint when it was a grandpa standing outside with his grill. I don’t know what it was but those taco’s were on point. I gave the new owners a chance last week and I wasn’t disappointed. I don’t know who the cashier lady is that several people talked about but luckily she wasn’t there when I went. They definitely have the best torta’s in the city. They are now officially my favorite buche joint. The previous owner had this avocado salsa that was bomb that I miss but no bigs, I can get used to this.

Uh i don’t know where to start… When they first opened, the prices were approximately 2 dollars cheaper and their service was great. HOWEVER, the last 2 times I went there, the lady working in the front gave us so much attitude about giving us a water cup. My friends and I asked her if we can get a water cup and she started cursing under her breath in Spanish and told us that she’ll give it to us. After waiting for 10 minutes, we politely asked again if we can have some water and she rolled her eyes and told us to just wait. After we were done with our food… We were genuinely confused. They weren’t even busy so we asked her one more time and the lady rolled her eyes said that they ran out of water cups… They normally give water in the soda cup and the lady decided to lie about having no more water cups… Like seriously? What kind of crap is that? We ordered about 50 dollars among 3 of us and you can’t even give us water? We started coming ever since the business first opened and brought bunch of our friends but we will make sure to never come back to a business like this. Tacos puro terrible. peace out.

I ordered a burrito and some tacos with cilantro only and no sauce to go. The cashier told me that they have cilantro and onion mixed so there will be no cilantro… I asked her for no sauce again and asked her is they added sauce, she said no so go ahead and get some. So I go and get some hot sauce. When I get home. Everything had a lot of sauce, and not just any kind of sauce. An extremely hot sauce. How am I supposed to eat my food? I couldn’t eat anything How can I not get what I asked for when I paid for it? This is just another place with terrible bad service and food

Service was okay the place is really small and we ordered several orders with different meats for the tacos but the guy didn’t mark down what they were so when we got home we had to open all of them up and check and see what it was before we can hand them out to people. I got the carne asada torta so luckily nobody’s fingers had to touch it before I could eat it was very fillng it was very big too, I’d like to try other things next time.

Superb tacos especially if you come here during lunch hours when the food is prepared by las senoras!(I will explain shortly.) Highlighted by their scrumptious meats and great deals, they should always be in the conversation of best tacos in Fullerton. Authentic Mexican street-style tacos with the all important meat options: carne asada(beef cubed steak), carnitas(braised pork), al pastor(Shepard style pork), pollo(grilled chicken), chorizo(sausage) and tripas(tripe). All the meat choices are well seasoned, juicy and generously topped on to a warm tortilla shell. And for $ 1.20 each, it is as good a deal as it gets. My favorites are the tasty, succulent carne asada, their moist and flavorful pollo(I often consider chicken an afterthought as far as meat options go at taquerias because it is usually dry and not too flavorful, rarely their specialty) and easily the best tripas in town I have tried yet, savory and cooked just right: crispy but not overcooked. Unfortunately, I feel they overcook their other meat choices. Based on my experiences here, the meats are prepared better during the lunch hours by the ladies and not so much during the evening when the men take over the grilling. It may be acceptable, if not preferred by most, to grill the tripas to a golden crisp. But the chorizo was nearly charred as well, which is a travesty. The barometer to how well the meats are grilled is tested with chicken and the pollo came moist and juicy the couple of times I ordered it during the day, while it was dry and tasted charred when I ordered it at night. The consistency in their preparation is not there or agreeable. Burritos, $ 5.95, are stuffed with layers of meat, beans and rice. Few places get this right because there is too much rice and the beans should be wetter, almost pureed and velvety smooth in my opinion. And this is not one of those places. I will opt to order an all-meat burrito on my next visit. The salsa bar includes red sauce(salsa rojas), green sauce(salsa verde), sliced red radishes, sliced cucumbers, pickled carrots, red onions and jalapenos, diced onions and cilantro. In addition to soft drinks and horchata, they have Orange Bang in chilled bottles. Nice! Good luck finding but a handful of other taquerias that carries them. Tacos Puro Jalisco opened earlier this year, on March 2015, and business has been brisk. Good food and cheap prices is synonymous with the best taquerias and the general rule. I find this spot the most representative of this axiom in Fullerton. They are especially busy during evening hours which I find a bit ironic because food preparation is much better earlier in the day. Have cash handy. They accept credit and debit cards but there is an $ 0.80 surcharge for using them.

Lol. This isn’t for the food. This is for the customer service from the short pudgy Hispanic lady. She wouldn’t give me rice on the side when I ordered a burrito. She just wouldn’t do it. All I wanted was rice on the side. And she wouldn’t give it to me! Why??? Then when I left, she just shrugged Her shoulders. Wow. If your the owners, I’d retrain this lady.

Consistently Best tacos in Fullerton This is the real deal taqueria in the area. I recommend the asada, pastor, lengua, cabeza, buche, and especially the tripas. Pollo and chorizo aren’t quite as good imo. Favorite place aside from one LA food truck for tripas tacos. Tacos are always the go to item here. Definitely affordable at $ 1.20 each. They have burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, and tortas as well. And menudo on the weekends. Of these items, I’ve had the torta. I liked the tacos more. I’ve been here at least 50 times because it’s so near my home. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Fullerton. The salsa bar is good. I like the green sauce more than the red. The marinated carrots and cucumbers are good too. Limes are cut into perfectly sized segments. Seating is limited to three or four tables so taking food out is a good choice when it gets crowded. The place seems to get even better when they’re crowded. So try to come during the evenings. They’re open late(until about 11 I think). They have a healthy drink selection of numerous sodas both American and Mexican and aguas frescas. The horchata is top notch here. The amount of meat on each taco is generous. I’ve brought about fifteen friends and family members here, and they agree this place is fire
