This Coffee Bean was pretty good! The baristas here are very friendly and provided great service. There are plenty of chairs and tables to relax, read, or study. The only reason why I docked off a star was because there was only 2 outlets to charge your electronics with. The other Coffee Beans I’ve been to had a ton of them. They also lock their bathrooms so you’ll have to ask them for the key. Overall, I would definitely go here again to get caffeinated and get my studying on!

Came in here on a rainy Monday morning for a small treat to kick start my week. I was greeted with a warm hello as I opened the door. The lady took my order(chocolate croissant & dark roast black coffee) and asked if I wanted my croissant warmed up. I was in and out in 5 minutes around 730 a.m. Which is good because most coffee shops are busy at this time. The coffee was freely brewed and the croissant was delicious! Great customer service!

Worst service ever! Stopped in this morning at 6:40AM. The two women behind the counter were busy discussing their personal lives and acted like I was disturbing them! Gave me my items and then their backs so they could go back to their discussion. No «thank you or have a nice day». Pretty rude, I’ll try their competitor down the street next time, see if it’s any better.

The only good thing going on with this location is that it’s a part of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf chain, other than that, the people that work here are so rude. He looked so unhappy working there and clearly did not care if the store made a buck or not. Excellent coffee but with the kind of people that The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location hires, It’s obvious they don’t care about their customers. As I’m also reading down the negative review’s that people are leaving behind, I don’t see one comment from the store manager responding to to the customers. Good Job.

Probably the worst Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location I have been to. Years ago, I’m talking near 10 years ago, they were a decent location to stop into. I had a bad experience here back in June, but while I was out visiting last week, I thought I would give them another try. Mistake. They are still in desperate need of help there. I showed up on a Saturday night around 8:00 or so. The place was not that crowded. 2 guys were working behind the counter. Only the younger guy was making drinks though. The other one was just hanging about. I waited nearly 10 minutes for 1 drink. When I got back to my car and tried it, I found that it did not taste like how it’s supposed to. I didn’t feel like going back in and waiting another 10 minutes again. So, I just left and made do. Management really should do an overhaul on this location. It’s an ideal spot, but they are considerably lacking there. The people working there act like they would rather be elsewhere. There is never any greeting coming or going. The whole place just seemed dirty too and rundown.

I work at a main chain coffee shop but I love going to other branches because sometimes you just want something different. I stopped by around 8pm and asked for an espresso macciato and the guy at the register was telling me that«Starbucks makes a messed up version of it» and telling me how an espresso macciato is supposed to be and how Starbucks makes it. Yet the funny thing is, he described it wrong(since I work at Starbucks), bashed the company, and then tried to tell me how to make a macciato which was the incorrect way lol. He said shots then a couple scoops of foam but it’s actually the other way around. Foam then shots. He gave a lot of attitude the whole entire the time and nobody really seemed like they wanted to be here even the guy making the drink walked away from my drink and told the other guy«nah you can make it» making me wait another 5 minutes for a simple espresso shot and scoop of foam. There was no have a good day or any type of greeting. Didn’t feel like they wanted me or my girlfriend there. On top of that, they made a cappuccino instead of a macciato which is essentially the same thing but for giving me the lecture on coffee they probably should have made it right. But I guess not. Overall, good cappuccino. Lacking customer service. Lose a little of the attitude and you’ll be better off.

The inside of this place gives you a cozy type of feeling. The staff are very friendly and even recommend a way to improve my usual drink. Wasn’t the best idea to listen. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t good yah know? I did appriciate the gesture thought, I’m just a picky person. The caramel frap thing they had was pretty good as well. Just felt like the was something a tad off but was pretty good non the less. overall 4 stars and I’ll be back :)

I was very indecisive about what I wanted for my caffeine boost after a long drive. Alan was patient enough to walk me through my options and what I like to make a custom drink. I left with a large iced coffee with a half scoop of hazelnut and it’s my new favorite! I was also glad to know that they add espresso to their iced coffee, YUM.

This place needs to learn how to serve the customers and meet their request & desire. Asked for coffee late, but remembered I didn’t mention iced, so I asked the guy for iced. His reply was… Too bad. You asked for a latte. You should have asked for iced in the beginning. I will be back for the air conditioning.

The place was full when I walked in but Janina had it totally under control and didn’t even look overwhelmed. Not to mention everything was clean from the floors to the windows to the table tops. She was friendly and made me feel incredibly welcomed upon approaching the counter. She made polite conversation and had my order out almost immediately. I frequent another coffee bean location closer to my home where the employees always look miserable or inconvenienced to be serving me(which is surprising because I don’t generally consider myself an unpleasant person and always tip) so this was a nice change. Thank you Janina for making my coffee buying experience so enjoyable and exemplifying great customer service!

Coffee Bean is BYFAR my FAVORITE coffee chain and this location is part of the reason why I fell in love. I used to frequent this location a few times a week when I lived in the area. Theres good parking, great hard working staff who always get the orders right and to you quickly. Whenever I’m in town I always come back and get coffee here.

When it comes to coffee chains, Coffee Bean is my favorite! You cannot beat the ultimate mocha, so rich and chocolatey, the ground chocolate covered espresso beans are everything, extra shot of coffee is free, so I usually go with adding both. Great service, fas and friendly, easy parking out front, love this place!

I stopped in because I had a certificate for 20% off for National Coffee Day. I got a latte which was pretty good. But how can you make a bad latte? This is a nicely sized shop with the usual slackers or milenials hanging around with their phones or laptops. It is a cozy enviroment, but I’m not the type to lounge around. I took my coffee to go. I haven’t been bold enough to stop in on the way to the train station. I can’t miss my train to work.

I was going to give this place a 2 last Friday because I saw 2 people, who were in line after me, get their drinks before me. WTF?! I timed my whole transaction against the time on my receipt with the time running on their order screen above the bar. 7 minutes too long. I ordered 2 decaf ice blended vanillas, 1 regular, 1 large. The 2 girls who sauntered in after me seemingly ordered iced teas or coffees. So no blending involved. Is that what makes my orders take longer, the blending? IDK. This CB&TL has never been the greatest in drink making speed, I have stopped by before work a couple of mornings and they just don’t cut it for me, timing wise. Today though, I decided to give them that 3rd star, because my afternoon drink was blended in good time, not rapidly, but in 3 mins. My aunt got her drink pronto because it was a passion tea. Cheers to that!

Fun fact: The effects of caffeine were first noticed by Ethiopian shepherds when they witnessed their goats acting goofy after consuming a coffee berry! Funner(but unrelated) fact: The chain is starting to roll out Qi wireless chargers. The chargers are already available in San Francisco shops and throughout JFK airports. Never plug a cord in again! Alright, alright… I’ll stop with the facts! One more ‘alright’ and I’ll sound like Matthew whatchamacallit… McConaughey, me thinks. Sorry, M&M. A brief historical background: The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a California based company. They are also known as «The Bean» among long-time patrons. Their original ice blended drinks are the best sellers. After finishing a mystery shop assignment at a fast-food joint nearby, decided to swing by the ol’ Coffee Beanery. As I skedaddled in, a friendly wave and perky hello from Ryan the barista(Ryan-ista?) greeted me. Instead of offering me the mainstream drinks such as the caramel or vanilla latte, he brilliantly suggested a few of his personal favorites. I went with the matcha latte — smooth with a good balance of sweetness. The same drink at Starbucks is premixed with sugar + melon syrup. There is more sugar than the actual matcha powder, blech. Oh Starbucks, you silly. The staff here seems to enjoy their jobs, which makes me happy. :) They also have an endless amount of tea options! I think I experienced a tea-gasm while perusing their selections. «David DeCandia is the „Tea Master“ for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. He spends two thirds of the year traveling to tea estates in different tea growing regions of the world, including India, Sri Lanka, the Himalayas, China and Africa, in search of teas for the company.» — Wowza. That explains their abundance of teas. Kudos to you, David-san! P. S.) The lattes are made with powder instead of the usual syrups. They roast their coffee by hand, not by robot roasters like Starchucks! Thus, no bitter or burnt flavors. P.P.S) If you’re dieting, have them take it easy on the sugar. Also, all drinks are made with non-fat milk unless specified. Yo vegans — their powders contain dairy so be careful. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — A few of my usual favorites: (+) English Breakfast Tea Latte: Rich, not too sweet, highly caffeinated. (+) Moroccan Mint Tea: Calming and refreshing. Note: Urge to skip in flower fields may result. (+) Tropical Passion latte: brewed tea with vanilla powder and milk. Tastes like toffee. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — PROS: Free WiFi, speedy service, knowledgeable baristas, outdoor seating, less chaotic than other coffee joints. CONS: Ask for the restroom key, limited inside seating. .

The employees here were super cool, although it was easter and the center was really slow! My drink made from a mix, which was high lighted as being better, was clumpy…
