Tila Nails & Spa

I go to Cal State Fullerton so I needed a close place to get my nails done in between class breaks and I found this place I tried it out and it was great. Kim took care of me and it was $ 30 for coffin gel nails.

I give them 2 stars because they were friendly and I loved the dogs.
I was so excited to get my nails done because I haven’t gotten a mani, pedi in almost 2 years so I made and appointment. I get there 30 minutes before my appointment so I can choose my color and just to show up early incase they can get me in earlier. I waited about 20 minutes after my appointment to get my nails done.
As I’m getting my nails done the lady seemed in a rush in my opinion if you’re in a rush because you have to leave just don’t do my nails because I don’t want you to have to redo them incase you mess up. I asked for the «coffin» shaped nails.
All of my nails were uneven especially my index finger, it looked like she just cut half of it off. I asked her to just put a new nail on but she had to leave so she asked another lady to do them. The other lady just added some stuff on it to even it out and that really upset me because there’s a higher chance of my nail getting chipped and breaking off because there’s no fake nail supporting it. She also didn’t even clean me up so now I have a bunch of stuff under my nails and it does not look good at all and multiple cuts.
To top it off the lady who finished me off she tried charging me $ 25. It’s says right on there price list $ 18. That really made me mad. Never ever would I go there again. Unless you get Tami, I saw she took her time and did a very good job.

I had gone to get my nails done earlier today & they were terrible. The lady who did my nails cut my skin (multiple times), left powder to harden under my nails, left powder on my skin, and my nail shapes didn’t even match. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I had to go to a different nail salon today just to have them completely redone.

I have been going here for a little over a year. Every time I have to try somewhere else I regret it more than anything! I love this place! Not only is the staff amazing! The owner is a sweetheart! They care very much about your experience and want to make sure you leave loving your nails! Prices are not bad specially for the work received. They always have me coming in with a smile on my face and leaving with a smile on my face. :)

I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews. I walked in to get a fill and was very happy with the results. The lady who does acrylics really knows what she’s doing and actually takes time to do a good job. Also the prices are really good!

I love getting my nails done here! Everyone does an amazing job. There is a classy vibe and it feels like your in their living room, great taste in design. The poodles are adorable and very well manered. The products they use are high quality. Always very clean. I appreciate the little things like the polish mixer. It shows they don’t skimp on details. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. Thank you guys for giving me pretty nails!

This place is fantastic. My friend recommended Tila a few years ago and I’ve been coming here ever since. I’ve seen her stay open late to accommodate walk ins… Her customer service is second to none. I moved to Huntington Beach 6 months ago and tried to find a place close to my home, but came back here. I don’t see myself going anywhere else!

I am a college student who likes to treat myself by having pretty nails. This place is amazing with affordable prices and quality. I live 40 min away and will always drive down to fullerton to get my nails done by them! I get gel acrylic nails for $ 25 where other places charge $ 40 for what I want. A lot of colors to choose from! Everyone is welcoming and so nice. The salon and equipment are always clean. They overall do a fantastic job!

I LOVE this place. I’ve been going to Tila for 3 years now and I don’t like to go anywhere else. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming, and the space is beautiful!

I’ve gone there twice and they’ve hurt me both times. I’ve talked to them about it and they grunt back (I’m assuming it’s an apology), but then they have the audacity to ask me to pay them in cash. The only reason I come here is because they have a fantastic selection in color, but the second I find another place to go to I’ll never come back.

I’ve been trying out a lot of different nail places around Fullerton over the past four years and I’ve finally found the best one! Tila’s nails does an amazing job, nice thick coats of polish on the gel manicures and they really do pamper you on the spa pedicures. Very reasonably priced and the staff is always kind and smiling. Very clean establishment, they do have two poodles that are always napping in their beds around the shop. I’ve been going for about 6 months now and I would recommended them to everyone!

THEY MESSED UP MY NAILS SO BAD AND STILL MADE ME PAY. Literally going somewhere else to get them taken off and redone. This is not okay. DO NOT GO HERE. There are so many better places in Fullerton.

First time going here and I was really satisfied, she did the design exactly how I wanted it.

I go back and forth with my thoughts on this establishment often. It’s location is great for me, because it’s just minutes away from my home, chiropractor, and there is a tanning place just two doors down. It’s super easy to pop in while I’m running errands for a quick nail fix. They also have the massage chairs that so few walk-​in nail salons have available around Fullerton.
However, each time I have went in for a manicure/​pedicure, I haven’t be impressed with the service. The past two times, the salon was almost completely empty, with just one other patron receiving services, but the service I received was the same. so-​so at best, without a hint of friendliness. One of the things that bothers me the most about this particular salon, is that when I am reading, oftentimes the manicurist won’t allow me to use of one my hands to hold my book. I’ve had individuals who, in the past have worked it out where I can have my nails completed, while getting work done or just enjoying reading. at Tila’s Nail & Spa, they don’t have the patience to work with clients on this kind of thing. The manicurist often seem bothered that I am obstructing their work. I hate to complain, but getting my nails done is a bit of a luxury and I expect to enjoy my time at the salon. And although my nails always turn out alright, I don’t usually leave feeling like I’ve got to relax much at all. I feel that 3 out of 5 stars is generous.

I needed to get my nails done for my friend’s wedding, and I stumbled upon this place using Unilocal.When I put their address into my gps, I couldn’t find it, so be wary of that! The interior of this place is very clean and nice, like a spa. I was tended to right away, and my manicurist helped me pick out the colors I wanted. They also offered me a cold beverage and snacks, which I thought was a nice gesture.
I got a gel manicure (they use gelish) for $ 20. I’m originally from NY, so $ 20 is a steal! They had a great assortment of gel colors to choose from and my manicurist did a very meticulous job on my nails.
They do have 2 dogs (I think poodles?) running wild in the store, which took away a bit from my zen experience, so just a heads up in case you are allergic!

Went into this shop last week for a gel mani, a pedicure, and a Brazilian wax. I am so disappointed with the results. The lady that did my wax was very thorough, but a few hours later, my skin was peeling and flaking off. No burns, no pain, but it was awful and really uncomfortable. The same lady did my pedicure and I will say that’s the only thing I was satisfied with.
My gel manicure was awful. I’ve very particular about my nails and spend good money to keep them nice. I went here because it was close to where I was and I didn’t have time to go to my usual place. My nails ended up being completely uneven and the gel was really bubbly and you could see dents in my nails. I asked for them to be round and they came out really rough on all edges. I asked her 3 times to fix it and she kept trying, but only made them worse. The color was cool, something I hadn’t seen before, but they started chipping 2 days later.
During my manicure, she had 3 customers walk in and ask how long… she told them all 20 minutes. The one girl said okay, she was going to go next door for food and would come back. When she came back, she was given another 30 minute quote time.

I went for a wax, Tila is very thorough and did a good job. I took a star off cause when I called i wasn’t told that they charge a $ 1 for all card transactions. I will go back though

I had my nails done here and was very pleased! Took in my two little ones for their polish too… Price is awesome compared to other locations near by!

The only reason why I didn’t rate them with 5 stars was because of the Dogs… If you want to have your dogs there please have them trained or at least have them with a Leash. Kids love dogs. At least she told me in advance so my girls wouldn’t get bit.

Come in when they first open at 10AM, call and book ahead of time, because there are only 3 technicians and availability is limited!
