Established in 1992.

We are owned and operated by a former Maryland police officer with thirty-​four years of combined law enforcement and private investigation experience. We have been in business for over twenty years and are considered by many as the Washington D.C. area’s most prestigious private detective agency.

Kenneth D.

Business Owner

Kenneth D’Angelo is the Founder and Chief Investigator of Target Investigations. Mr. D’Angelo has thirty years of experience working as a military and civilian police officer, as well as a private investigator and personal security consultant. He is also the current President of the Private Investigators Association of Virginia (PIAVA)

During the last thirty years Mr. D’Angelo has become a prominent and highly respected member of the legal community; but perhaps what he is best known for his calm, compassionate and straight-​forward approach when working with people who are often experiencing an emotional personal crisis.
