Have to agree with the guy that said a step above Applebee’s, the step above is the beer choices and a little more taste if your into things that are so hot you can’t feel your tongue. Waiting staff is really nice a little slow on seeing when you need something, but it is New Jersey. Plus a little pricey for having«caught» the seafood right off the coast. Probably better odds to go to the seafood markets around the area.

Went here for Mother’s Day brunch. Big mistake! Food was just about edible. Cold eggs. very undercooked bacon and it only got worse from there. Asked for coffee and was told not included. Give me a break. For that price you can’t have a cup of coffee. Nice looking place. just don’t eat the food.

Lots of parking. Very attentive staff. Huge dining area. Amazing Philly cheesesteak! Meat is a1. The roll is so tasty– chewy with great crispiness. I asked for American cheese and grilled onions. The sandwich came with provolone as the menu stated so I was unhappy the chef didn’t get the order right. They also don’t have cherry hot peppers which goes hand in hand with a true Philly cheesesteak. They also don’t have bottled water for folks who want that option. I also ordered wings to go. They are heavily breaded. The buffalo sauce is very good. The wings are big and the actual chicken tastes good once you get past the breading. The chairs were padded and comfy. The waitress was very nice as were the hostess. I would eat here again. It is definitely the Place to eat when headed into Atlantic City.

A nice place for a casual relaxed dinner. Plenty of menu options and good service. Food was good– lobster ravioli had large chunks of lobster and sauce was not overpowering.

The place is not as bad as a lot of the reviews suggest, but don’t expect fine dining either. The restaurant has that Friday’s/Applebees feel to it from the layout to the décor. Our waitress was real nice and attentive, so the customer service is decent. They have a great taplist of local and national craft beers, which is awesome as a beer nerd. The food menu is vast which can be a warning sign because quality might not be as good. I got dry rubbed wings which were decent, but not much flavor to the rub. The chicken parm sandwich was good and I love the fact I can get sweet potato fries for a side. Place is not bad for some good beers and a quick bite.

Decent bar food. unfriendly bar staff, not sure of closing time. I was Rushed out, not good for business. Truly a shame the bar is empty, bartenders too busy checking text to pay attention to the few people that are sitting there. Very obvious the bartenders thoughts: let’s get out of here. Not good business practice for the owner of a an otherwise great establishment.

I’m visiting AC. I was looking for a place that delivered. My first impression of this place, based on the lower Unilocal rating? I might have passed. But … My friend(a local) assured me the food was excellent. She ordered the Crabcake Sandwich. I had the Black & Blue Burger. Both were exceptionally good. Delivery was fast. Was the price higher than average? Yes. Was the food better than average? Yes. I would order from here again.

HORRIBLE treatment if you spend less than $ 15.00. I was totally embarrassed by JODY. I will never be back!!!

The place is very nice but the food is not worth the price. Happy Hour prices are not for customers that sit on the main floor tables. Ridiculous!

The margaritas are rediculous here. They are so big, half of us couldnt finish our drinks. They are good, but be prepared to leave with a good buzz. Very large restaurant with fun, chill décor. Friendly staff who knows their food. The wings are very good, but they could offer more in the appetizer portion. We had the buffalo chicken wrap, burgers, and pasta. All delicious and worth every penny. I am a fan! If you want to save some money and get out of the AC hotel zone, stop in here. You wont be let down!

I went here for happy hour yesterday, July 27th and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I live in Connecticut and have been here a few times seeing my mom lives in Galloway. Before I get into all the negatives I must say the usual bartender Jody is phenomenal. Very kind and down to earth. Now onto this experience! I was so excited to come back seeing the amazing first couple of experiences I had. We had, Gino, a MANAGER and he was so rude! We went for happy hour at 5:30 and its ends at 7 so we had plenty of time to get a few drinks in. The experience started out fine until the end. At 6:40 he delivered us our drinks. We asked if he could put another round in the system before happy hour was over. He said he couldn’t put more than what we’re drinking. Fine, that makes sense! We quickly drank our drinks because we wanted to get in another round before 7! He disappeared in the back for about 5 minutes. He then came back, I got his attention at 6:58, we asked for three waters and another round. At that point we had gotten our food, and I need water when I’m eating. He got us our water came back and proceeded to say, «happy hour is now over do you still want the drinks?» I said to him how that made no sense because I told him before 7. He proceeded to say he didn’t have time to put it in the system. You’re kidding right? You had enough time to get our water but didn’t have enough time to get the drinks in the system before 7? You had two minutes to walk 10 feet? I told him that I was disappointed cause I asked him TWICE with ample time to spare. Then I proceeded to tell him that I was disappointed and that it would be reflected in his tip seeing how rude he was. We are usually generous tippers, 20 percent, if not more! &HENEVERCAMEBACKTOOURTABLE! A MANAGER left three customers sitting waiting for to go boxes and the check. I got the bus boy to get us boxes and the other bartender(Who was also very nice and apologetic) got us our check! I’m so annoyed with this experience and I won’t be back! I thought we found a new fun place to go but apparently I was wrong. Avoid at all costs, unless he’s in the back making pizzas like he should be. Cause apparently, he has no customer service experience but I cause he gets to slide since his father owns it…

This is a great place when you want to gather with friends and family. The place has a nice feel. We were there for the half price wings nite and it was totally worth it. The staff was super friendly. Also ordered pizzas, although it was good but we are from NYC and they have the best pizza there. All in all will come back again next time I’m in Marriott.

My family and I experienced an utterly disappointing Mother’s Day brunch. The Mother’s Day brunch was pennies shy of $ 30 a person, and the buffet featured a variety of items. It also included a choice of kitchen-prepared omelets and pancakes, as well as different juices, included with the price of the buffet. However, we might never have known about those omelets, pancakes, or juices were it not for a neighboring table, whose server was kind enough to explain in great detail those items in addition to the buffet. However, my family and I were already a good twenty minutes into our own meal when we found out about those items we could have had. When we were seated, we were given a printed«handout» type paper with all the buffet items listed, including the complimentary add-ons; however, the server didn’t even tell us we should have read them over. Truly, she should have been as conscientious as her coworker to have explained the entire buffet and its inclusions, along with the automatic 18% gratuity added onto ALL buffet orders. In other words, our server did pretty much the minimum she possibly could for the maximum tip she might hope to receive in the situation of a buffet, nearly 20%. Shameful. In terms of the food, there were many delicious items, including shrimp cocktail, meatballs and pastas, blintzes, eggs, breakfast meats, sundry cookies and snacks, etc. On a downside, bagels were stale, fried chicken was bland, and bacon was limp and greasy. Pancakes from the kitchen were actually quite delicious, not sickeningly sweet like a lot of breakfast places. My family and I, however, having eaten quite a bit already from the buffet, could not take advantage of the omelets. This was our third year returning for the Mother’s Day buffet at Goodfellows, and it will be our last. The five-dollar increase since last year might not have been a deterrent, had it not been for the poor service and auto-tip added to the bill. I should also mention that, Saturday night before Mother’s Day, I attempted to reserve for 10 a.m. via the Goodfellows website, which stated clearly that the Mother’s Day buffet began at 10 a.m. I received an email message back later to say that 10 a.m. was not available, but could have 9 a.m. As the buffet didn’t start until 10, according to the website, I declined and said we’d take our chance with a walk-in. When we arrived, at 10 a.m., we learned that the buffet in fact did begin at 9 a.m. That’s just bad business.

This review is for happy hour specifically — and it was great! I went there last night with my family and we sat at the bar for happy hour. I tried a couple martinis and some lemocello(made my the owner)! All the drinks were great and Jody(the bartender) was so nice and prompt with everything. She recommended a couple appetizers and so I tried the friend ravioli and the artichoke dip — which was served with crispy pita chips. I also had a slice of a white pizza that we awesome. The other guests at the bar were also friendly and the whole experience was great.

More is definitely not better. Widdle down that absurdly gigantic menu and find yourself an identity. You can’t be all things to everybody. The massive inventory to accommodate this menu must be killing the bottom line and that is clearly being passed onto your customers in the form of inflated prices and low/mid quality food.
