We had my daughter’s wedding at Grace Vineyards this weekend. Steve and his staff were all amazing. They were so accommodating and helpful. The grounds were amazing and so was the food. Thank you Steve for giving my daughter Amanda and son-​in-​law John the most amazing venue we could of ever asked for.

Oh my gosh! Loved everything about this venue! It was the first place my daughter and I visited and loved it but thought ‘no, we can’t just pick the first place!’ Should have listened to our hearts and saved us the time and mileage. The owner Steve goes out of the way to accommodate. We were totally blessed! The grounds are lovely and the staff were ‘right on it’ before people needed water or whatever! Food was fabulous-​Fresh and Quick Catering (the venues own catering service) prepared the food. The cost was very affordable. Sooooo pleased.

I don’t even know where to begin! This venue was LOVELY. We made the whole property our home for the entire day and Steve Baker and his staff were so pleasant to work with. Everyone knows how crazy people can get during these huge events with stress and tensions running high, but everyone at Grace was so accommodating ad lovely. The food was also amazing and all of our guests were raving about it. The wine was also perfect (my guests managed to enjoy copious amounts and even wanted more when we were all out!). It was truly a day to remember. I will be sure to share photos once they are available from my photographer. A++++ Grace — wouldn’t have had a day to remember if it wasn’t for you all.

Absolutely the best experience a bride could hope for! The venue is gorgeous and absolutely enchanting, Steve Baker and his wonderful staff made everything an absolute dream come true! We were treated like family! We have now recommended this venue to several of our friends, some of which have shared the same amazing experience. Honestly, five stars doesn’t even come close to serving this venue justice.

It has been four years since my daughter was married at Grace Vineyards. My family still talks about it as one of the most wonderful days of all of our lives. The grounds and the home are stunning. The ceremony area, the dining area, the pool, the pool house, everything is beautiful. The owners Steve and is wife clearly love what they do and it shows. They have provided a wonderful venue for people to come and enjoy and to make memories. The food they provided was so wonderful. We had the super tri combo and they had the bbq’s a blazing that day. We had a DJ, a photo booth and lots of family and friends. It was wonderful. And, it was affordable. If I had another daughter I would urge her to use this venue again. :-)

My husband and I were married on 10÷26÷14. Steve and his crew were wonderful. The food was great and everyone made sure we had everything we needed. Our guests all mentioned how beautiful the property was. Beautiful bridal suite, tons of parking, and gorgeous surroundings. We couldn’t have picked a more wonderful place. Thank you! :)

This is a great wedding venue. We had my daughter’s wedding here on 10÷13÷13 and it was beautiful. Steve, the owner, is very accommodating and helpful. Worked with us on everything and allowed us to «make it our own». The food from Steve’s catering company, Fresh and Quick, was delicious and the staff was great about helping us set things up exactly how we wanted. My daughter and I had a very specific vision and it all came to life at Grace. Our bartender was amazing and friendly and even helped us with cleanup after everyone left. I just can’t say enough good things. I highly recommend Grace for anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding.

Absolutely Outstanding! The Grounds at Grace Vineyards are stunning… there are SO many photo ops. I must give 5 stars for Steve the owner he is simply wonderful. He was so organized, flexible and prompt I never was stressed. The food was great and the vino was delicious! If your looking for a beautiful venue with many things included this is the place.

I cannot say enough good things about the Grace Vineyards staff and this venue.
My husband and I got married here in April 2013. We loved the venue from the moment we saw it. It is beautifully kept and was exactly what we were looking for for our outdoor carnival-​themed wedding.
The staff was very friendly throughout the wedding planning process. I had a lot of questions and consistently emailed them. They were very responsive at getting back to me. The few times where I didn’t hear back soon, they apologized and proceeded to get back to me.
They were very flexible in letting us do things for our wedding that aren’t often done, like have a cotton candy machine with a generator and have lawn games.
The wedding day was amazing. They executed everything perfectly so the day ran so smooth. If there were any hiccups or issues, I didn’t even know of them.
There is a variety of places to get great photos – the vineyard, the barn, in front of the southern plantation house, etc. The grounds are really beautiful and require minimal décor.
Their menu is delicious and very affordable. We chose the BBQ buffet and many guests commented on how good the food was.
And the wine is fantastic! We tried all the varieties at a tasting pre-​wedding, and they all are amazing!
We had looked at several venues before booking Grace Vineyards, and they definitely give you the most for your money. The staff took care of everything and at a great price. We were so happy we chose to have our wedding at Grace Vineyards!

This place was a mixed bag for me. The venue is beautiful and well-​maintained. The open space worked perfectly for my sister’s carnival-​themed wedding, and I’m sure she got lots of beautiful photos from the variety of locations available on the grounds. It was also pretty easy to find, right off the freeway. Now I know Galt is not as far away as it sounds.
But I feel like the venue could definitely improve some things to make the day a little easier on the guests.
The ceremony location is not well shaded or seated. We were melting on a late, warm April day. It must be unbearable in the summer. My mom said she had to sit on the ground a couple times during the rehearsal because it was too hot and too long to stand in the heat. Additionally, I could barely see the bride and groom from my seat. Granted, I am short; but my husband is not, and he could barely see over the people in front of us due to the set up of the chairs.
There are only two bathrooms for the guests. And they are next to the bar, so it gets chaotic in the small room between people waiting to get drinks and others waiting to relieve themselves of all that drink. Also, one toilet did not flush properly. My husband actually fixed the toilet while he was in there.
The bar is too far away from the tables under the tent. I didn’t even realize there was punch and soda inside the bar because it was always so crowded when I went in there.
The staff clears the tables of all drink once the dancing starts. Nothing like working up a sweat swing dancing and then going to grab some ice water from the table to find every water pitcher and every glass is gone.
The dance floor is also far away from the tent, so you can’t sit at the tables to watch. To watch the first dances, you have to line up around the couple. As my brother commented, it felt like we were lining up for a ride.
The dance floor itself is just a bad idea. It’s brick, which is just not made for dancing. It’s too crowded. And it’s right by the pool. And yes, someone did get pushed into the pool (his cell sunk to the bottom), and many other people came very close to dancing right into it.
The food was fine, but nothing special. Knowing how much it cost per person (the couple chose the BBQ buffet), I felt like the food should have knocked my socks off.
And finally, the bugs! I get that bugs are probably a given at an outside wedding, but this seemed excessive — bugs flying into the drinks, ants crawling on the table. Despite covering myself (twice) in bug repellent, I still got bit up by mosquitoes.
You cannot leave your cake (or in my sister’s case, the donut stand) out for display unless you don’t mind bugs in your food. We were able to cover the donut stand in plastic wrap, but I’m not sure how you would protect a cake from the bugs without really taking away from the display of it.
Overall, the wedding was one of the most entertaining I’ve attended, but I think that had less to do with the venue and more to do with the execution of the carnival theme.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Grace Vineyards on October 27, 2012. I stumbled upon it in a Google search and fell in love with everything just from the photos and positive reviews on their website. I had to see it in person and once we did, we knew it was the place where we would get married.
Steve and Candice were a wonderful team to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were quick to respond to my e-​mails and calls with any questions I had. They also had great suggestions if I was ever stumped on anything — Where the photo booth would work best, where we should place our «sweetheart table», etc. They are such great people!
Prior to our wedding, we attended two vendor and wine events at Grace and we were able to try all of their food and wines. The food was delicious and the wine is fantastic! As we were going to each table at our wedding, the guests were very vocal about how much they loved the food and wine and how full they were from eating so much.
The ceremony area is surrounded by lush greenery from the trees and vineyards so we didn’t even need any decorations for the ceremony. That’s how beautiful it is there! The property is full of areas for photos from the front of the brick house, the barn, the English garden to the vineyards. We were able to get several sunset photos in the vineyards… so stunning!
Excellent service, food, wine and professionalism… everything was perfect on our special day. We are so happy we decided to have our wedding at Grace Vineyards and I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to get married.

I got married on April 13, 2012 at Grace Vineyards. I searched high and low for a venue that was reasonably priced and had the aesthetic that we wanted for our wedding photos, and thanks to Unilocal,we found it! I was so happy to find this place! As soon as I saw the website, I called and met Candice over the phone. We set a date to come out and look at the venue and honestly, as soon as we drove up, I knew this was THE one.
Our wedding day had crazy weather – rain, hail, rainbows, beautiful sunset. It really ran the gamut. It also made for beautiful pictures! We were able to take some photos as the sun was setting over on the golf course side and they are amazing! We didn’t originally plan to have the reception closed in in the tent, but the weather was so back and forth that we agreed to have the sides put down. Surprisingly, there was plenty of room! No one felt cramped. There was room for everyone to get around the tables, get the food, and dance without tripping over anyone else.
Our guests ALL raved about the food – they said it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! That was part of the reason we chose Grace Vineyards, actually. We wanted our guests to enjoy the day as much as we did and from everything we heard, it sounded like we accomplished that! I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out for your wedding!!! I couldn’t be happier!

I have visited Grace Vinyards on two occasions, the Wine & Chocolate event and an open house catered event. Both times I was pleasantly surprised and everyone in attendance was having a great time. There’s positive energy at Grace Vinyards.
The venue is BEAUTIFUL, the staff is friendly and helpful, and speaking with the wedding coordinator, Candice, I can tell she knows her stuff!
The food was delish and the scenery was gorgeous. Perfect place for a wedding with plenty of parking.

This isn’t going to be the best review to read if you are looking to get married here, as I was not the bride and don’t know the exact details on what you get for what price. I was fortunate enough to be invited for the menu tasting by the future Mr.&Mrs. who got married here in August. We were able to try a small buffet of the dinner options as well as a tasting of their wine. All the things I tried were good, but my favorite was their blue cheese and walnut salad. Of course I loved the wine, I’ve never met a wine I didn’t like. The day of the wedding we were able to try their Almond Champagne, which I really loved!
The venue is very well manicured and taken care of. I really liked the ceramony area that was bordered in bushes and had a brick path for the wedding party to walk on. This I learned at a wedding I was in, is very important as heels get stuck in grass, and you really dont want to end up looking like a dweeb who looses her shoe walking down the aisle and then spending a second trying to pull it out. (Not that I would know what that’s like… =/​) At the end of the walk was a very beautiful alter which my friends were allowed to hang a beautiful chandelier from. It seems the owners of Grace Vineyards were very flexible in allowing certain changes to be made for the wedding.
I remember the bride telling me that Grace Vineyards was very affordable and as far as I can remember, she said that the food, service, ceramony, reception and unlimited wine as well as the bridal party being able to get ready in the house was all included at a very good rate. My apologies for not remembering the exact figures as Im sure that would be very helpful.
The wedding was beautiful and went on without a hitch.

I have recently visited numerous wedding venues to explore all available options in the Greater Sacramento/​Placer/​San Joaquin area. I found Grace Vineyards to be a wonderful location and extremely reasonable. Steve was a gracious host and was very accommodating with scheduling a visit. He also was prompt with following up with estimates/​communication. I also had the opportunity to attend an event on location and sample the food/​wine, which was excellent. Overall this venue has many great qualities and is lovely!

I love Grace Vineyards. We got married there in September of this year, and it was the perfect venue. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept. Steve, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. He even booked a tee time at the golf course that the venue backs up to for my husband.
Before booking with Grace, we looked at different venues, and Grace gave us the best deal for what we paid. Everything was included; food, drinks, dishes, table cloths, chairs, ceremony area and reception area (including a nice pre-​lit tent) which makes it easy on the bride.
The scenary at Grace is so beautiful that we needed little decoration. The area is very open and is perfect for those who want a nice wedding without it feeling stuffy or like a huge production. It is simple, yet elegant.
The only thing I can say is that Steve may take a while to respond in the beginning (he is much easier to get a hold of when it is closer to the wedding date). Don’t let this deter you; you will be in good hands and he will give you an AMAZING wedding!

i recently attended a wedding at grace vineyards. It was a beautiful ceremony. very lovely grounds. The reception though left much to be desired. It was an embarrassment for the couple. The caterer served a salmon that wasn’t just undercooked it looked like it hadn’t been cooked at all!!! And the Bride told me there was supposed to be a fruit salad, there wasn’t any fruit. Apple cider was supposed to be served for a toast there was none in fact there were no drinks on the tables except one pitcher of water. They ran out of drinks at the bar and ran out of tea and coffee. In fact they ran out of food before everyone got served.
It was sad seeing the servers pick up plate after plate with the food not eaten cause it simply wasn’t even edible.

This place is great for a Day/​Night weddings and other events. I always look forward to working at this venue. The owner is awesome and very attentive to the everyone. If your looking for a memorable moment to cherish, this is the place.

I was the Wedding Officiant and DJ for the wedding on 10÷16÷10 at Grace Vineyards.
I had never been to the venue before and was excited from the minute I pulled up. The styling of the building is that of a southern plantation. Very different than the many victorian style venues that Sacramento hosts.
The ceremony area was perfect for about 150 — 175 guests. The Tent area was well maintained and once they add the new cement pad it will be even nicer.
The bar area is perfect for the gentlemen to get ready in with a flat screen TV.
The brides room is quite large and looked very comfortable.
The part that I was most concered with was the dancing area. The DJ and dancing area was right near the bar, always the best place for the DJ. Plenty of power for the equipment and lights.
Steve and his staff made sure my job went well and we all had a Great time!

Two years ago my best friend’s parents opened a wedding venue called Grace Vineyards. It has been amazing to watch the transformation of a family’s home turn into what Grace Vineyards is now today.
Yesterday my two dear friends got married at the vineyard and it was absolutely flawless. The venue was well-​manicured, the pool was gorgeous, the staff was very attentive and the food was great!
If you’re planning a wedding, consider Grace Vineyards. It is a pleasure working with Steve and I hear the prices are unbeatable!
