Codie & Kurtis installed a new furnace, AC unit & water heater in one day. Derek & Cameron were the plumbing crew. Kelly is the Project Manager and did the estimate & oversaw the project. They were all awesome, in a word! Very friendly, fun, professional and I was very comfortable having them in my home. They seemed very proud of their trade and product and they did a superb job! They left the hosue & spotless. I have high standards and I am totally impressed with this company as a whole! Especially the company’s involvement with the YMCA & several non-​profits for Veterans.

Adam and Kurtis completed the installation of a ductless a/​c unit in my house. They knew what they were doing, were efficient, paid close attention to aesthetics as well as function, and explained everything I needed to know about its operation and maintenance. Polite, knowledgeable and professional.

Last Christmas, A-​1 Plumbing replaced my water heater quickly and affordably. Now they’re back for a regular maintenance. Chris was polite, efficient and had a can-​do attitude.

Allen is prompt, polite, hardworking and friendly. He explains everything and he is very respectful of your home.

These guys did a great job installing a much needed new hot water heater (on a Sunday, no less!). Brian H., our plumber, was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make sure EVERYTHING was better than new.

These guys have come to my rescue more times than I’d like to admit. Adam was on-​time, so nice and professional, and honest. He did a great job repairing my A/​C line issues from a bad previous home-​owner /​want-​to-​be handyman and installed a new A/​C the same day. Kasey has previously come out for some plumbing repairs and was great as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Jason came to stop the flood in my backyard from my sprinkler backflow. He was very helpful and took the time to explain to me how the system worked. He did all this on a Friday night after hours. If you need work give them a call.

I’ve been meaning to write this for a few months now and just getting to it. Probably one of the worst places you can consider doing business with. They have a membership they want to sell you and are really forceful about it — like sleazy salespeople. The weekday receptionist was super rude as well if you don’t have a schedule you can just sit around (aka if you work during the day). They were incredibly condescending and rude. I had first used them about 10 years ago when moving to town and the guy tried so hard to sell me a new furnace v repair what I had it was uncomfortable at best and I felt he wasn’t being honest regardless of the dire situation he tried to paint. I went elsewhere and they came out and repaired it without the full court press and were so great (even told me the system the A1 team was trying to push breaks and the entire thing has to be replaced). The A1 technician told me my existing furnace could not be replaced and would not quote parts to extend the life or fix it — so he was lying which shows the core of the business ethics and values. When I tried again a few months ago and they were so very rude to me on the phone it was ridiculous. There are better places in town who are at least nicer, Honest and don’t try to sell some sleazy membership. I do feel this is also the type of business who tries to overcharge single women and the elderly and those they feel they can take advantage of. Back to the old furnace — it is still running great and is the type the parts can be replaced — so it did not need to ever be replaced (10 years ago) even through their technician lied and said it did and came up with huge inflated quote at that time and the hard core press until I insisted they leave.

I recently had an accepted purchase offer on my 100 year old house in the north end. The buyer wanted a sewer scope done and hired A1 plumbing to do it. They performed a scope and identified a disconnect in the sewer pipe in the alley. They wanted $ 4100 to repair it.
We decided to get another bid prior to proceeding with the repairs. Based on the report from A1, Viking plumbing estimated $ 1900 to perform the repair. When the owner of Viking repeated the scope, however, they found only a minor settling problem in a different location, which they repaired. The alleged disconnect was a misidentified step off. Most importantly, the area in question was not even on my property. To clarify, A1 plumbing was attempting to charge me for non existent problem ON CITY LAND.
The buyers were understandably confused and the deal almost fell through. Eventually the city came out to evaluate (the alleged problem was on their land) and found absolutely nothing wrong. Shame on you A1 plumbing. This is either fraud or incompetence with a hint of greed. Do not use A1 plumbing.

Prompt service, courteous, and much more fair of a price than mister rooters quote of $ 1100 to fix a pressure reduction valve in my crawlspace. They charged $ 280! Nice work A-​1!

Pro Auto Care is the most honest and knowledgeable auto care place I’ve ever been to. My engine light went on so I took it my dealer (Bronco Motors). I was told I needed a new intake manifold and it would cost over $ 1000k to fix. A friend (who swears by Pro Auto care) suggested I take my car to them for a second opinion. I’m so glad I did because the folks at Pro Auto Care checked my car out and then called the dealer and insisted this should be covered by my warranty. Broco Motors reluctantly agreed so in the end it cost me zero dollars. Thank you Pro Auto Care!!!

Great service and clearly explained everything!

Our air conditioner and furnace started making some crazy noises that sounded like it was going to be super expensive. I called A1 and their tech came out a couple of days later, diagnosed the problem, showed us some opportunities to extend the life of our current equipment rather than trying to sell us a new system and quickly replaced the parts. I might have called around and saved a few bucks but the level of service, honesty and customer care the A1 and Chris specifically exhibited was over the top. These guys care about their customers and they want to do the right thing for you. I strongly recommend them.

Wow A-​1, you were going to charge my client over $ 1300 to install a brand new lightweight stainless steel sink on a brand new kitchen countertop, (and that’s without any necessary plumbing upgrades.) Thank you for subtracting FIVE hundred dollars to bring it down to over eight because the old sink was already removed! This price for under three hours of work? My advice to anyone considering using this company is to get a price well in advance and compare prices. I didn’t even pay that much for my granite installation!

I recently had my kitchen remodeled. A1 came out to install my new sink. As soon as the service man showed up, he started the up sell process. He even tried to charge me to remove my old sink, which was already laying on my back deck. He wanted to charge $ 1375.00. I needed my kitchen, so, I had to agree. He took off the removal price. Now the cost would be in the 800’s. They also charge a dispatch fee or $ 39
I think that was left on the bill, also.
I promise I will nevet, ever use A1 Plumbing, again.
I suggest that no one uses it, until they get a grip on pricing. The service man was in my kitchen for only 2.5 hrs. Give or take a few minutes.

This review is long overdo. We had a leaking faucet in our bathroom. Couldn’t stop the flow of water by turning the faucet handle. I went out and bought two faucets to match (master bathroom had 2 sinks). The repair guy was still at my house when I got home from work. When presented with the invoice I almost fell over…$ 750! Remember I bought the faucets. I asked him what he had to do and he said «only change out the faucets». I asked him if he was ashamed of charging so much money and he said that was for the companies overhead. I will never use this company again and have no problem telling friends and family to do the same.

These guys came out and quickly figured out what was wrong with my Furnace system… Excellent service… drama free… Just did their job in a very competent systematic manner, and they answered all of my questions… & explained why it broke…
SO though the problem was unexpected, and I wish it on no one…
It was fixed within 2 days…

A friend in another state also works with HVAC/​Energy System experience verified everything was done correctly and appropriately. Nice to find people you can trust… who take time to answer questions, and who do their job competently!

Negative zero if I could. Went to Home Depot and bought everything I needed to put a sink in. A1 wanted to charge me $ 232 to install a $ 10 piece (the flange), the one part I WAS able to install well myself. A non plumbing installation experienced lady. My neighbor came and finished the job for free, something A1 wanted a total of $ 470 for. I felt so taken advantage of! The A1 guy himself told be I could get much cheaper, lol!
