I love is place! Honest, friendly, reasonable, and family owned. My only complaint, no AC in the waiting room lol.

I know now why this place is called Manny’s, because Manny is the man. I went here while traveling through out of town and they did a brake repair for me quickly and expertly. Both Manny and Junior were knowledgeable and helpful. Now I have an auto repair place in Garden Grove.

Brought my car here after dealing with a dishonest mechanic. Manny Sr & Jr took care of the repairs and their work/​fees were sufficient. However, my temperature gauge still reads high at times but they say that’s «normal». I opened a case with the Bureau of Automotive Repair regarding the first mechanic and both Manny Sr & Jr were very recently interviewed by them. They had an opportunity to be honest about the condition of my vehicle when I brought it in. They knew I had just been charged nearly $ 4k on repairs never performed by the first mechanic. They were shocked when I showed them the invoice and they spent allot of time pointing out and proving to me the repairs on the invoice were not performed. This included me taking several pics for the Bureau. Instead of Manny Sr & Jr doing the right thing by being completely honest with the gentlemen from the Bureau, they choose to «lie». They said they had no recollection of actually working on my vehicle yet they did and they said they never saw the invoice from the first mechanic which they did. Manny Sr & Jr folded, got scared and did what they are probably used to doing; playing dumb. I have absolutely NO TRUST in them moving forward and will NEVER take my vehical back. This was about me getting the justice I deserve. These guys really let me down and have shown their true character. Incredibly unfortunate.

This shop was amazing! I went in expecting the worst and was expecting to spend a ton of money and Manny Jr. was amazing explaining to me all my options he really helped me to understand what could be wrong. He told me he would call me in the morning and when I called to check on my car he told me it was done and the cost was about half of what I thought it would be! He was amazing and honest and the price was cheaper than I anticipated! Will definitely recommend to my friends!

I got into an accident and took it to the closest repair shop which was Mannys, a family owned shop. I really didn’t know what I was doing. They were patient and caring which provided phenomenal customer service. Their work on my car was fantastic. You can’t even tell it was in an accident. The paint job was exact and that’s near impossible. The only regret I have is I didn’t know about them until now. Thank you for everything Manny and family!

Was hearing a clunking noise and was told by another repair shop that I needed a new transfer case at a cost of $ 1600.00. Another shop couldn’t figure it out. Turns out it was a worn transmission mount. Great service at the right price. I trust these guys.

Fast, honest, and good pricing what more could you ask from a shop. Keep up the good work.

I took my car to get a resonator out in order so it could be louder. I payed the man but as I drove out I noticed that I kept scraping. When I got home I also noticed that they never raised my exhaust pipe back up which was the reason for the scraping. I went back to the repair shop and told Manny that he messed up and never raised my exhaust pipe. I even showed him the receipt. As soon as I did he gave me this bad attitude. He checked the car and told me that it wasn’t his shops fault. This made no sense because before he touched my car it was fine. He argued with me and simply did nothing to help. He asked if I needed anything else and I replied that he should tighten my bolts on my pipe. He ignored me and said It was fine. When I got home, one of my bolts was gone. Needless to say this was very unprofessional. This guy needs to learn how to treat a guest and take responsibility for his actions. He needs to man up and recognize that he messed up. I recommend that other customers don’t go to this place. Manny gives off a bad vibe and a bad attitude. This establishment needs to better their attitude as a whole and be respectful.

the guys at this shop are super helpful, nice, and reasonable. I went to one shop the day before and they told me I needed a new transmission ($ 1,900), wtf?! I went to Manny, he changed my transmission fluid for a couple hundred bucks. car running like new with a simple fix. thanks again.

If you want to get ripped off, this is the place. My Toyota truck has a total of 4 catalytic converters. Manny installed the wrong one at a cost to me of $ 350.00. When my check engine light came on again my brother in law (who recommeded Manny) and I returned to tell him what was going on. It was determined that the wrong catalytic converter was replaced. Manny told us if we purchased the right one he would install it at no charge. When we returned a week later Manny swore up and down that he never said he would install it for free. We both argued with him, repeating his exact words but he refused to install it at no cost to me. Again this person is not a man of his word. You cannot trust him to do the job right the first time or to keep his word when he is wrong!!!

Manny’s is very helpful, professional, and fair. As such, this review is long overdue.
I am new to the area and I had no idea which mechanic I should take my car to; I had been putting it off for a long time because I knew that I had expensive repairs that needed to be done. Of course, the first thing I did was check Unilocal — which is not how I found Manny’s. In fact, I was very skeptical that this shop didn’t have over 100 reviews to determine the true value of their work.
Instead, I went to another shop closer to Garden Grove that had an abundance of Unilocal reviews. Despite this OTHER shop’s incredible reputation on Unilocal,I didn’t trust the owner, I didn’t like the price quote, and I was wary of the quality of work that would be performed on my car. So I put off making any decision.
However, when I went to the STAR-​Certified Smog Test Only shop on Harbor, they are the ones who recommended Manny’s just a few shops down. I received fast and courteous service, and I really appreciate that Manny’s took the time to actually show me what was wrong with my car and to explain all my options. (Not to mention, they knocked down the price and it was actually cheaper than the OTHER shop that had so many positive Unilocal reviews.)
Manny’s is just one of many store fronts that are vying for attention on this busy street, but take a moment to stop in, get a quote, and you won’t be disappointed.

I have been taking my vehicles to this shop for years, prices are fair and I trust their work. Never have to worry about being over charged or forced to repair something that doesn’t need repairing. Manny and Junior treat my car as if it is their own. If you have car problems or don’t like the prices you are paying somewhere else try this place, I highly recommend it.

Mannys is the best. I have been coming here for years. He takes care of your car and works with you. I would recommend Mannys Auto Repair to all my friends.

This place does terrible work! Do not come here!
I have had my alternator fail 3 times and come back to repair it within the past 2 years. Are you serious? I finally go to a different mechanic as it fails for the 4^th time. They tell me the part doesn’t fit the car and it was broken and the wires silicon-​ed into place. They GLUED wires into an alternator. Who does that? Did they skip that day at mechanic school where you don’t glue things into cars?
I’ve also had other family members and friends come here and have to go to other mechanics to repair what this place supposedly «fixed» which is more money and more time. Come here at your own risk.

This is the only place that I take my car for repairs. It is always a low price and they are brutally honest with you. They try to work with you as much as possible and have been doing business for over 20 years. Manny and Junior are the best. I have been coming to this shop for a couple years.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I’m not from this area, but my mom and sisters live here now. So for the holidays I’m visiting. With my busy work schedule I had no time to get my oil changed. Last minute I found this place on Unilocal and jiffy lube was closed (even though they were suppose to be open til 7) I called and JR answered the phone. Even though they were closed he told me to bring my car in and they wi still do my oil change! Talk about great customer service!!! I was so pleased I had to thank Mr. Manny himself. Thank u guys so much!!! I will definitely be back
