I had my daughters 6th birthday here and it was a huge success. We heard t4t had birthday parties and I was a little on the fence because I wanted to make sure it felt special for my daughter. She looooved it. The staff and volunteers went above and beyond to make the party perfect. We asked for a rainbow theme and when we walked in there were about 6 different rainbow projects that blew the kids away. They were engaged the entire party and so were the parents. They even did a photo «booth» for us. I would recommend a party here and we can’t wait to go back on a Sunday to create.

T4T is often hit or miss, but nonetheless a great spot to hunt and pick for art supplies. They have bolts and bolts of fabric sold by weight, as well as all kinds of findings and industrial detritus. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially Viki!
New hours are limiting and mean you’ll share your hunting and gathering with a crowd, but that’s just part of the fun!

North Hollywood, CA
Great Place for Teachers yes, but also for Crafters, MultiMedia artists and Recycling /​Upcycling Material projects. I could spend hours here thinking of things to make out of discarded materials.
There is an area for parties. I found all the random supplies to make a killer Halloween costume!
I’ll be recommending it to all my Artistic Friends!

What a gem for teachers. You pay for material by weight. They have random items, from plastic boxes to plastic piping. They also hold workshops for Math and Science teachers, as well as other relevant subjects.
My school recently scheduled a workshop with them and I’m excited to participate.
