Specialties

Cornerstone is a neighborhood bistro in the quaint little town of Genesee Depot. A small-town place with big-town taste, we offer a large selection of flavorful and creative foods along with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere. We offer full breakfast fare, including eggs benedicts, berry-nut french toast, omelets and skillets. Our lunch menu offers something for everyone, whether it’s a burger, fresh salad, homemade soup, healthy wrap or grilled sandwich. Our dinner menu is served all day long and offers steaks, seafood, amazing pastas and other specialties. If you love Butternut Squash Ravioli, you’ll want to try ours… it’s simply the best!

Cornerstone has a wide variety of homemade, gourmet desserts on display. Our Carrot Cake and Apricot-Oatmeal Bars have both been featured in the Journal Sentinel.

We offer over 50 wines by the glass and a nice selection of microbrews and imports, along with specialty drinks and espresso drinks.

We hope to see you soon!

Meet the Business Owner

Judy K.

Business Owner

In the business since 1982, Judy opened Cornerstone in 2005 because she was attracted to the small-town feeling of Genesee Depot and had a vision for a neighborhood bistro in the heart of «rural» Waukesha county. Less than 30 minutes from metro Milwaukee and 10 minutes from busy Delafield, Genesee Depot is close to home for many Waukesha county residents. Judy enjoys the creativity and flexibility of a small, independently-owned restaurant. But what she most values is the relationships she has formed with the countless regular customers and frequent dining guests. That is the true gift of the neighborhood bistro!
