Bricher Cleaners & Tailors

Brought my cleaning here for a good year without too much trouble. Before I left on vacation last month, I dropped off some cleaning and had a friend pick it up for me. When I got it, I realized that one of my blouses was missing. I left the next morning on my trip, so couldn’t do anything about it until I returned two weeks later.
When I finally went in, it seemed like the man who runs things there was ready for me. As soon as I said «I am missing a blouse from an order I brought in a couple weeks ago» he cut me off and said «No, we miscounted– you only brought in 5 items, not six. We changed it.» He seemed to know exactly what order I was referring to without me having to explain further or even give him my name. His tone was instantly combative and defensive, and I had hardly even said anything.
The blouse was absolutely in the order. The fact that he was trying to pretend that wasn’t the case was nervy to the point of hilarity. I politely said I was sure the blouse had been in the order, and asked him to look for it. He did a VERY cursory 10-​second glance through some items on a rack, and said «No, we don’t have it.» I then asked him to keep an eye out for it, and he said «ok fine.» He didn’t seem to make any move to make a note about it or take any information, so I said «Do you want to write down what it looks like?» He scribbled a bit on paper and said «ok, fine» and essentially tried to shoo me out.
Anyway, obviously I’m never bringing my clothes here again.

Thanks to the Tailor part of Bricher. I had a suit for my son brought in to hem up the pants. They turned them around in 3 days, and he had his suit ready for an event that weekend. They have always done an excellent job. Thanks so much!

I came in with a broken zipper on a new designer purse, and within five days it was good as new. The employees were friendly, helpful, and the repair was less than $ 30. I will gladly return to Bricher for my cleaning and custom repairs!

Handed over my ticket and was told by the lady chewing gum that my dry cleaning order had been picked up. It had not. She informed me in no uncertain terms that I had picked up my dry cleaning (that was not ready until today), two days ago. I insisted that I look through the racks to find the order (and I did). Absolutely useless.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR CLOTHES AGAIN.
