Great people and delicious apples! What more could we ask for? These people introduced us to a variety of apples and gave us samples of those, they showed us around, and taught us how to make apple sauce, how to preserve it, what apples to use …. We really loved our experience. The apples and apples cider were delicious. I just had my first hot apple cider with spice tea bag at home and I loved it!

This Orchard is awesome. The staff is very friendly. The staff let me wonder around the orchard and check it out. I thought that was really cool. It does not have U-Pick, but you can still walk around and enjoy the Orchard. The apples are very good. The prices are also reasonable. The honey is amazing. I recommend this place! You aren’t going to be disappointed.

Richard and Deb have a jewel of a business here. Over 40 varieties of heirloom and other apples to delight any palette. Starting in August we make this a regular stop for apples and other fall crops. Make it a point to stop in. The BEST caramel apples in the universe! you can wash them down with the best cider…

This has been our go to orchard for over a decade. I love driving down Haf ‘s Road when the sugar maples have started to change color. It is the quintessential fall experience. The orchard is family run and they carry a large variety of apples as well as pumpkins and gourds. We particularly love their apple cider and honey crisp apples! Don’t forget to pick up some honey crisp apples — they are to die for!

After heading back from The Elegant Farmer and their extremely high prices, we decided to hit another location on the way home. Hafs Road Orchard is a wonderful place… the prices are much more reasonable and the apples are INCREDIBLE! Now Hafs Road does not let you pick… they do the work for you. The staff was great and we will be back again before the season is over. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

Solid orchard. Great family run business with superb products and service. Cider, apples, carmel apples, you name it… they have it. Great place! This is top of my list of places to visit when Fall comes around every year.

Yup. One of the best orchards around. Great people. It’s a winner. Only complaint about the orchards around here is that they charge too much for apples. Apples in MI are much cheaper. But they have some great apples, and it’s a nice country drive on the backroads.

You gotta love a small family orchard like Hafs. Quaint little place with a huge variety of apples. They always display their Blue Ribbon prizes from the county fair… usually on their Honeycrisp apples. Absolutely hard to beat a fresh honeycrisp from Hafs… so juicy you need a towel handy. Their pie apple selection is fantastic. Also the fresh cider is rediculous. I could drink a whole gallon but know better from experience. The folks there are very friendly and helpful. They are very proud of their little business and they should be.

Been coming to this place for some years now. It stands out for several reasons. A remarkable variety of apples — heirlooms, special hard to find hybrids, popular standbys. As others have noted, Honeycrisps are a staple. Caramel dipped honeycrisps with peanuts — there is no other caramel apple! Their variety allows some great blending for cider. We spent some enjoyable fall days wandering around S WI and N IL sampling cider years ago — these folks took the prize. It’s fantastic. Nice location– nice to wander around the orchard. Get squash, pumpkins, and gourds here too.

Mmmmmmm — sorry, I was munching on a Honeycrisp. I love this place. The apples are beautiful(you have a choice — first quality beautiful, or slightly less(and I do mean slightly) gorgeous for a bit lower price. They have many varieties; if they don’t have your favorite, they can usually recommend something close. The caramel apples are to die for. And these are the nicest people I’ve run into at any orchard. It must make a difference that this is a small, family outfit. They don’t have rides for the kids, and there are those of us who appreciate places that don’t turn into zoos on weekends. Yeah, it’s a hike(I’m just southwest of Chicago), but it’s worth the trip. On the way back, don’t miss the stand on Hwy 50 with the sign that’s a big ear of corn — that guy has the best Yukon Golds and the best bratwursts I’ve ever tasted. Anyway, I don’t remember exactly when I discovered Hafs Road, but I plan to keep going there as long as they’ll let me. It’s earned a permanent place in my GPS.

A small, friendly, family run orchard. While it is NOT a pick-your-own, the store is set on the edge of the pretty orchard, and you are welcome to wander through the apple trees, and look at the nearby small lake which is full of ducks, herons, and muskrats, and you might even see a Sand Hill Crane! This orchard grows many unusual types of apples, so if you like cooking with apples this is a great place to find winesap, lady apples, Cortland, and other hard-to-find varieties. The apple that keeps us coming back is their Honey Crisp — of which they have lots, and have won numerous blue ribbons for at the Walworth County Fair! They also make their own apple cider, and really good homemade honey crisp carmel apples! They also sell some pumpkins and gourds, so you can load up on fall stuff. While not as family-friendly as some other orchard operations, what it is, is a place to get really fresh, unusual apples, and chat with the owners and staff about recipes, weather, and whatever. While not organic, the owners use IPM, which means that as little pesticides are used as possible to get a nice apple, so the apples are perhaps more wholesome to eat than most supermarket offerings.
