Discount Tire Store – Georgetown, TX

I had a front right tire blow out on me while driving home last Friday night. Obviously those times are a pain, and I needed replacement ASAP. I went in and saw the sales people at Discount Tires in Georgetown. They were professional, and went out to inspect my tire situation. I ended up getting two new tires, since I had another tire with low tread. Now my vehicle is driving well again. I appreciate the service, and will do business with them again.

It sucks that I even have to give this place a fucken star. They suck from top to bottom worst customer service & can’t do half of what firestone can. Worthless bitches throughout that place. Fuck’em

I want to thank Anthony and Travis of Discount Tire for their great service that I received when all I needed was air in my RV tires. I was treated very professionally by everyone in the store and I can’t say enough good things about these folks. I will be purchasing tires from this store in the future. Thanks guys!

This is a great organization. I got a screw in my 4 year old tires and it might have been fixed somewhere else. They replaced the tire under warranty with a new tire and got me right out on a busy Saturday morning. I won’t but tires anywhere else.

What can you say about the great customer service and quality work that Discount Tire that hasn’t been already said, but they never cease to amaze me with their sense of urgency and attention to detail. I came in for a rotate and balance, and I also mentioned that one tire was losing inflation irregularly. They found the nail and found another small leak when they tested the repair. Great service that’ll minimize flats on the road. Good job!

Jayson did a great job taking the time to give me a great selection of choices. The entire staff here were all very helpful and beyond courteous with every customer that was there. Thanks again for providing great service!!!

Great customer service. They actually checked each wheel & tire and gave me options and honest opinons. The price is reasonable. And free tire pressure check.

We had a slow leak in one tire. They found a nail in the tire, fixed it, and didn’t charge us for the service. Great place, very polite and professional.

I have ALWAYS bought my tires here and felt they were excellent to deal with. However, I bought Pirelli tires recently and was suppose to get $ 75 rebate. When I pulled off the activation sticker off the card it said $ 60. Visa debit card. This is a gross misrepresentation of the offer I was promised.

Slow leak in my tire was caused by a screw. The men at discount tires were so helpful and repaired my tire in an hour, free of charge. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend.

Very Poor service at Georgetown location. Visiting family in Round Rock I picked up a nail in my left rear tire. I went on line and Georgetown had a Michelin tire like mine. Going there the sales rep was great we looked at the tire together and I showed him the nail. He also noted I had the front right with unusual wear and we agreed it needed replacement.
After returning from lunch I noted my car up on jacks and a new tire on my front rim but they were going to switch front and back tires! I asked the technician about this and he said it was standard. I Sid not on my car they are progressive tires (the front is a different size from rear and try are not interchangeable) this was explained to staff when I dropped off my car and shud be obvious. This would be dangerous if I did not catch it.
Then the tech came in and said, already to go, no leak found in rear tire. The sales rep, and I were surprised as I said there is a nail in it and I came in for that repair! He had checked the Right Rear instead of left. Okay honest mistake!
The sales rep comped the service fees and only charged me for the tire. This I felt was a good way to cover the mistakes made and I was happy when I left.
Then before departing back to Orlando FL where I live, I checked tire pressures. The one repaired Left rear had 67.5 lbs in it. Max pressure for that tire is 50. No tires were same pressure. The only one they did not work on was 34.5 where I had it the right side was in the high 40s and I had to adjust my pressures before starting out. This combined with missing valve caps, (I have the fancy Crome ones) was an indication of passive aggressive behaviour because of my complaint of poor service. I only wanted a tyre repair as a traveller who had trouble. They could care less because I was a traveller. I would not recommend this location to anyone, especially if you don’t reside in Georgetown.

Had the most ridiculous experience at tis store this am. Went to the center to have a tire stem replaced on my car and was refused service because my tire date of manufacture, was 10 years ago. The tires have no more than 8 — 10k miles total on them. The car sits in storage for most of the years. It’s a ’69 VW Bug Convertible and is only driven on weekends about town. The tires are like new. I do not need the tires replaced. All I needed was the tire stem replaced and the tire reinflated. They refused!!! Needless to say, I have been a customer with this store for many years and have spent thousands of dollars on tires and will now be looking for tires elsewhere. This is not the first time I have been pushed to purchase new tires when they were not needed. Enough already!

Came in expecting to spend a fortune. Leaving with a smile. Good customer service matters, folks. These people have it.

So thankful for Discount Tire. I drove up at 6:05 for an air check (my sensor came on) only to find a screw in my tire. Instead of sending me away, they went ahead and took my car back to fix it. I have been a repeat customer to them (at many locations :-) and have always been very pleased with their work and customer service.

Chris and Kevin are absolute rock stars. They were professional, courteous, informative and helpful without being «cheesy» or pushy. They helped me get an appointment set, get my four tires replaced, and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision in no time at all. Everything about these two gentlemen, and my experience with them, was symbolic of why I love discount tire: its like a well-​oiled machine that gets you exactly what you want quickly and at a great price.

Great staff, and prices. They patched my flat tire at no charge. The car was brand new and the tires came from the factory! Can’t beat a company that wants to take care of you, even if you aren’t buying anything.

Very friendly, and helpful service! The tech’s actually take the time to fix your problem, and they usually will do it for free on minor issues! They will always have my business from here on out, I will never buy tires from another place again!

Excellent service, excellent management! Needed to get my tires rotated before a trip and went during my lunch, they were VERY busy and I explained that I needed to get out of there before 1. They had me out of there in no time. They will continue to get my business!
